Good morning everyone! Ha ha it's official I have completely lost the plot and have no memory whatsoever! A week or so ago I placed an order with Simon says stamp for some ultra yummy goodies which came with mr postman yesterday (yay!) and on the same day I got my parcel from my new fave shop craftie charlie which I ordered from 2 days ago and yep you guessed I doubled up on a load of Tim Holtz ideology stuff lol! I am so silly thinking ooo I like those bookplates and sprocket gears, of course I do I've already ordered them!! Oh well will just have to use them all now!
On to todays card and I have made it using this fabulous Emerald Faerie stamp. I saw these faeries on a stunning card ages ago, so long ago I can't remember whose blog it was but I loved them immediately and can't believe it has taken me this long to grab some digis and create with them.
Such gorgeous little images! I have followed the sketch this wk over at Fussy and Fancy and have used prima fairy flora papers (it seemed only fitting!) My stunning butterfly is also Prima (which too came in my SSS package!) and my flowers are wild orchids with kort and godt too. My sentiment tickets are whimsy and my ribbon, pearls, cheesecloth and brad are from stash.
I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and have edged in peeled paint and worn lipstick D inks. My flourishes have been stamped with a prima stamp and all my layers have been stitched.
I also want to enter this into Wild orchids shabby chic friendship challenge and The emerald faerie garden sugar and spice girlie challenge.
Thanks for coming by my blog again friends! Big hugs to everyone!
