Good morning everyone! Well we did manage to make it to the ice cream farm yesterday and a good day was had by all! Caleb got much better and ate 7 rusks and some rice pudding before he went to bed the previous night making up for the lack of food throughout the day!
Today we have a new sketch challenge over at A Gem of A Challenge for you and it's a great one!..
I have broken out some of the old papers again, these are Wild rose studio spring fling papers (wonder why I haven't used them up already as they are sooooo fab!) I have used ribbon and gems from stash with flowers from WOC, butterfly from little snippets (of course) and sentiment from SU.
I went back to an old fave with the image, this is the totally wonderful butterfly Chloe from Pink Gem Designs and I have coloured her with Prisma pencils. I have added some worn lipstick ink around the edges too.
I would lie to enter this into....
Crafty creations flower power, Paper pretties 2 or more DP, Crafts and me 3d embellishments, Cute card thurs spring flowers, Paperplay things with wings, Craft us crazy flowers, Crafty ribbons things with wings, Aud sentiments spring/summer colours, Papercrafting journey 3 or more DP and Stamp n doodle bold and bright colours.

ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty and adorable, I love the colours, the image is so sweet and and the flowers, butterfly and bow are all stunning, I am going to have to go and check out little snippets as I just love those butterflies that you use. If the story about my cat falling out of the christmas tree made you laugh I will have to try and record him making himself dizzy chasing string because that's hilarious, he staggers and everything, he also does a funny little crab walk thing when he is in the mood to play as well but catching it on camera is near on impossible.

Oh Rebekah, your card is simply amazing! I'm totally in love with everything about it: the bright, gorgeous colours and the fabulous details that I just can't look at long enough. Love how your combination of various flowers in the corner, the different colours and shapes goes so perfectly together and creates such a stunning flower arrangement, totally stunning! :) Also love the diecut edge on your card, and how you've added some pearls to it, very beautiful! :)
