"Rainbow Themed" card - Anything goes type of challenge, but must have a rainbow or the colors of a rainbow in
your creation. The reason for this Rainbow challenge is in honor of a very special little guy named Cameron.
If you click on the here , you can read his story...
A little History and the reason for this Super Challenge this week...
A very very good friend of Stitchy's who is known in the digital world by the name "FUNKY" ,
has built a beautiful fundraiser blog for her grandson Cameron..He is autistic and Funky and her daughter
are striving to help Cameron..
Some of you may know Funky, she has been in the digital scrapping world for a very long time.
If you could find it in your heart to help Funky and her little guy out, it will not go unrewarded.
We know times are very hard for everyone right now, so if you can't give even a dollar or a pound, please don't feel bad, but please do go and read his story, he's quite a character lol..
Thank you in advance to all that take part in this very special challenge - have fun & good luck!!!
And another reason for me why this charity is also close to my heart .....
This is my nephew, Sam, my sisters little boy. Sam is 4 months younger than my eldest daughter but I see such a difference between the 2 of them as Sam suffers from autism too. Any awareness that can be raised about Autism is always good to help those who are affected by it.
My first card has been made using an image from her Stitchyness herself! Available in store, this one is called "bring it on". I have used papers from that fabby freebie site shabby princess with flowers from wild orchids all sparkled of course with swirls by Marianne creatables and frame by nellie snellen
My sentiment is SU marked with Marvy le plumes and the rainbow is part of the freebie digi kit.
I have used the sketch over at sweet sketch wednesday for this card and am also entering it into digital tuesdays dots and stripes challenge, stamp something are having a spots and stripes challenge too and fab and funkys whateva challenge.
Here is my 2nd card and I have used an image by Mizumedia one of our creators in store and have made the card using papers from the creative cottage rain or shine kit along with some twine and rainbow charm from stash and a computer printed sentiment
It is more a male orientated card so I have kept it simple. My image has been coloured with prismas and I have distressed the papers with Tim Holtz' finest!
I am entering this into City crafters challenge of one for the boys.
