Divas by design pastels

Hey folks, well I am super late with my post today. I just can't seem to get myself organised with all these folks coming in and out of my house with this loft conversion. They only have about 2wks left but we still have a mass of decorating and then there are all the end of school events taking up a stack of time at the moment!
I have made a card for our challenge this fortnight over at Divas by Design which is to use Pastels on your creations and we are sponsored by the fab Crafty Emmas for our challenge and the DT have made some amazing examples. Here is my card using the sketch over at sketch saturday.

I have used fab freebie papers from the paperstack I got free with papercraft magazine and have used this gorgeous Kenny K digi image which I just love! I'm not so thrilled with the colouring as the printer ink kept bleeding which was a tad annoying! I decided to stick to a mono pink theme as I love pink and haven't done a mono card in a while.

My flowers are mostly wild orchids with gittery ribbon coming from hobbycraft, pearls from stash, butterfly from a local shop and sentiment from Whimsy.

I would also like to enter this into Kenny Ks challenge of anything goes, Whoopsidaisy we love pink, Stamp somethings bugs or butterflies and card cupids mono challenge.

    oh wow hun this is just stunning oh just love those colors,the butterfly is just amazing too hun know how annoying it is,when the printer ink bleeds hun if you,print on normal not best,then the ink seems,to stick better,hugs cheryl xxxxxx

    WOW Rebekah, what a great card and that butterfly is amazing. I love Kenny K too, Lisa told me if you slowly dry your print out with a heat tool it helps, it works for me. I hated using digi's until I did this now I'm happy with either stamps

    Good luck with the builders lol we've not long had them in, worth it as I have a fabby new kitchen!!
