A fairy thank you

Hi folks! I know I've been absent again but its just not easy to get crafting time around the builders mess and then there will be the school holidays soon! Hence I am trying to get ahead on a few thank you cards for all the teachers. Today I have made a card using this stunning fairy digi from Delicious doodles or Stitchy bear store where Teri draws the most fabulous fantasy images! I have followed the sketch over at sketch saturday for my card.

My gorgeous papers are prima sparkling spring (told you I had a thing for Prima papers at the mo!) and I have distressed all the edges with victorian velvet ink. My stunning large flower is also Prima from a massive and fabulous selection at Simon says stamp. My stunning pearl flourishes are from Pink gem designs with my butterfly coming from e crafts, my sentiment from Waltzingmouse and my pearls from stash.

My wonderful image has been coloured with prismas and I have given her wings a major glamour dusting! Teri does so much shading for you within the sketch that it is so easy to colour and to look fabulous! The weather is not being kind to us here today so the photos aren't looking so bright this is much more pale and pastel really. Oh and didn't I do it again with the craft supplies? Not doubling up this time but just got an e mail from Waltzingmouse to say my xmas stamps are on their way and I had totally forgot ordering them! I really must do something to improve my memory!
