Crafty sentiments new beginnings

Good morning everyone, hope you aren't snowed in! We are actually lucky here, we have enough snow to make it all look quite pretty but not enough to stop everything from going about normally! So kids are still at school and all is as it should be here just COLD!!!
Today sees another challenge over at the crafty sentiments blog which has been chosen by our DT member Kim, she hasn't been well recently so we wish her all the best for getting better! Her challenge is new beginnngs, so this could be new home, new baby, new job, new year etc etc. I have made yet another new baby card, I have 2 friends who are pregnant with girls at the mo!
I have used this lovely stamp available at the crafty sentiment store. I think she could easily be used for valentines or anniversary cards but I also felt her appropriate for a baby card, like holding a bundle of love?!

I have followed the sketch this time over at creatalicious and have used freebie papers from far far hill, they have got a stack of recent freebies on which are just fabulous, I love them all! I have sparkled as always and added lace from Wild orchids.

My pink tulle bow is from stash and my flowers are also wild orchids. My sentiment stamp is Waltzingmouse. I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and distressed all edges with dusty concord ala Tim Holtz.
I also want to enter this into Top tip tues anything goes challenge (It's unlimited entries incase you hadn't noticed lol!) Thanks for coming by here today, don't forget to pop across to the challenge blog and see what the other DT have been up to and to join in with our challenge!
Now off to continue with cake decorating for me and I still haven't put up that xmas tree thanks to the new stinking cold my husband and son have shared with me!
Hugs all

Pink gem new releases!!!

Good morning everyone! We are late risers in this house today due to the most fantastic evening last night! I will try and pop back on later with some not so great photos but my 2 girls sang with the young voices choir at the MEN arena last night and it was incredible! Over 5000 children sang and danced and we didn't get home until 11.15pm! Hence the kids were allowed to go to school late this morning!
Onto todays card though and this is a sneaky peek look at the new release over at Pink gem designs due in this wk and there are some real cutees coming in!! This is spring Chloe (yep I said spring!) I think she is much needed in amoungst all this British snow right now!

I have followed the sketch this wk over at Fairymoon for my card and have used these fabulous Autumn haze papers from the creative cottage, I just love this colour combo (dont forget I will be showcasing the December freebie tomorrow and you won't want to miss it as it's a beauty!).
Beautiful Chloe has been coloured with Prismas and the edges of the image ditressed and sparkled with pleated lace underneath from my stash. My flowers are of course wild orhids and my ribbon is from the bargain bin at Hobbycraft. My fabulous die cut corner and stunning die cut butterfly are from a brilliant selection at Hobbyhabitat, my pearls are from stash and my sentiment is Stampin up.

I also want to enter this lovely into Totally stampalicious anything goes challenge, top tip tues anything goes and Charismas one for the girls challenge.

OSAAT pick or season or an event challenge

Hi everyone, lovely to have you here! Today sees another challenge over at OSAAT which this wk is an anything goes theme of picking a season or an event, so a summer or winter card or possibly just a birthday, xmas or in my case new baby card.
I was lucky enough to work with this lovely image by one of our creators Eiglas available in the store now. She is so sweet and I have given her bright red hair as the friend I have made this for (who still has 3 wks to go before her baby girl is born) has another little girl whose hair is as bright orange/red as this so I'm assuming the little girl yet to be born will be similar!!

I have used papers from my stash, sorry can't tell you where they are from! I have used a stunning piece of wide lace with pink ribbon through which I got from e bay. I have distressed my image and papers with Tim Holtz worn lipstick and have edged my image with folded lace. My spotted ribbon is also from stash as is my little dummy charm (I used these on my son's christening favours 3 yrs ago!) My butterfly is cut with Marianne d's, my flowers are wild orchids, my pearls are from stash and my sentiment stamp is waltzing mouse.

I have followed the sketch this wk over at pink elephant and am also entering this into digital tuesdays anything with wings challenge (hope my butterfly counts!), City crafters children challenge, Freshly breweds show off your style (this is so me!), Charismas baby challenge, Digi doodle shops best anything goes challenge, Crazy 4 challenges circles challenge, crafty Emmas lovely lace challenge and Allsorts lace, ribbon and charm challenge.
I hope you can join in with our super easy challenge this wk and don't forget to pop across and check out the other DTs work this wk. Enjoy your sundays! Hugs to all
