A sweet sketch sweetpea

Yay I managed to get back on with my finished card, although I'm not entirely sure how much I like this at the mo.
I have followed the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday, I was lucky enought to get top 3 last wk whoop whoop!

I have used basic grey papers with my sweetpea image. My chiffon ribbons are from stash, along with my button. My gem flourish is prima (although I cut it up and repositioned it!) My flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts, my butterfly has been cut with an xcut punch and my sentiment is waltzingmouse. I have added sparkle to her wings and the moon with stickles.

I also want to enter this into Sweetpea stampers glitz and glam challenge and In a sweetpea dream anything goes challenge.

My first WOYWW!!!! #66

Woo hoo look at me it's my first Whats on your workdesk wednesday!! Why is this? because until now I never actually had a workdesk I sort of invaded every room of the house! So my lack of blogging over the last 2 days has been because of this - my recent purchase at Ikea and my DIY handywork haha! Can you see cbeebies playing just around the corner lol! I've just realised from here you can see both the xbox and the wii too, seriously we do get out sometimes!!!
It looks pretty neat but then I don't think I've quite moved in all the stuff from the several corners of the house yet! Below is a photo of the shelf above which is my flower and stamp storage, still need more really useful boxes as my white flowers are in the cardboard box, yep I have WAYYYYYY too many flowers haha!
So what is actually on my workdesk? Well I'm midway colouring a pretty sweetpea at the mo, maybe I will have her finished and blogged later and there is a sneak peek of my CS DT project sat on my external hard drive there!
I'm actually so thrilled with my desk I cannot begin to tell you, it also means I get to craft in the lounge, so I am closer to my son and not freezing in the conservatory!!
Now for the fun part, going across to WOYWW and seeing what everyone else is up to!!!

OSAAT do it with digis challenge!

Hey folks happy sunday to you! For the Pink gem blog hop please scroll down to the post below!
Today over at OSAAT we are encouraging you to have some digi fun! We want you to break out those digis for this wks projects!
I have been able to use this lovely image from one of our creators, Blackberry lane, available at the stitchy bear store. This is such a versatile image for a "grown up" card lol! As soon as I saw this it just screamed vintage to me!
I have followed the sketch this wk at sweet sketch wednesday and have used stunning freebie vintage download papers from the fabulous far far hill (yet again!) My twine is from stash, my sentiment ticket is pink gem designs, my flowers are mulberry crafts and my doily is from stash, everything has been distressed and inked with vintage photo.

I especially love the script paper under the image, can't believe these fab downloads are all free, if I haven't encouraged you across there yet, go now!!! There are 3 links to my fave freebie paper downloaders in my sidebar.
My beautiful image has been coloured with prismas and distressed to the max. My colour scheme was inspired by the peach roses my hubby brought home for me the other day which are sat on my table!

A gem of a challenge new sketch and BIRTHDAY BLOG HOP!!!

Welcome everyone to the Gem of a challenge birthday blog hop!!! This is running alongside our fortnightly challenge which is a fab sketch by Mandy this time. You can enter the challenge, the blog hop or both! To enter the challenge just pop across to the challenge blog, follow the sketch and link up your creation as normal.
Here is my take on the sketch with one of the fabulous new baby stamps available at pink gem designs. My papers and sentiment are digi downloads from Pink gem designs too!

I have pleated my lace under my image and have used another of my fab heart doilies inked ala Mr Holtz. I have drawn in some fake stitching (still hankering for a new machine!) and have added some small resin hands and feet from stash along with a little tag also from stash.
My little image has been coloured with prismas and the light was again dreadful when taking my photo (ggrr where is the spring?!)
I would like to enter this into Tuesday throwndowns stitching challenge and Your next stamps pretty pleats challenge.

Sweetpea stampers DT call

Hi folks hope we are all well! It's windy madness here in the north of the UK! My beloved hat flew off my head in the wind last night and is now no more, guess I will just have to buy another one lol!
Well today I am making a bid for the sweetpea stampers DT call, I know I must be crazy right?! But I just sooo love these stamps how can I resist?!
I am supposed to show 2 of my fave sweetpea cards but true to form can't stop at 2!
My first one is my most recent which I blogged not too long ago here.

My second is just so lovely, one of my all time fave stamps and this card won a couple of challenges too lol!

I then sneaked a little photo of this xmas SFTW DT project which I love, she is so pretty too and another challenge winner!

And lastly a little photo of one of my Pocket full of posies DT creations with yet another stunning sweetpea

I would be thrilled to join the team but I am sure there will be some incredible competition out there with such stunning creations! I adore these stamps and it gives me a chance to indulge my fantasy side when creating with them! You know what this has made me do now don't you? Yep just bought more sweetpeas!!

Crafty sentiments "bears" challenge

Hi folks it's challenge time over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog again and this time we are asking you to use bears on your card! There are some fab little cuties just itching to be used out there! We also have some fab little bears available as digi and polymer stamps over at the crafty sentiments store like this adorable bear couple I have used for my card.

I have followed the sketch for this over at friday sketchers this wk and have used gorgeous digi papers from Pink gem designs in soft greens and pinks. My fab corner die cut is from hobbyhabitat inked with forest moss and my stunning pink flourishes have been cut with Marianne D's. I have used pearls from stash and yummy flowers from wild orchids. My sentiment stamp is waltzingmouse and my cutesy bears have been coloured with prismas with a little glossy accents for their noses!

I also want to enter this into my time to crafts flourishes challenge, delicious doodles spots and stripes challenge, pear tree designs add flowers and sew many challenge use green.

Creative cottage words of love challenge (no images)

Hi everyone, thanks for popping by again! It's creative cottage challenge time again and this time the challenge is slightly different, we want you to only use words on your projects, so that means no images but having your sentiment as the focus.
This is so not my style at all but it was actually quite an easy challenge and quite a nice simple card for me, maybe something I may do more frequently!
I have used the stunning Autumn afternoon papers from the creative cottage store along with a digi sentiment from crafty sentiments, digi is so great as you can resize it at will!

My gorgeous lace has a sort of fluffy effect to it and is from Bunny Zoes, my ribbon is from stash (SU I think) my gorgeous flowers are wild orchids and my butterflies have been punched with MS.
I want to enter this into Totally stampalicious challenge of cards for no reason at all, Paper playtimes digi monday, Papertake weeklys anything goes with flowers, crafts for eternity use polka dots and stamptaculars out of the ordinary (for me this is!)

A sweet sketch wednesday and a prize!

Hi all, hope your weekends were pleasant! Well I was so lucky last wk to recieve my fabulous prize from winning over at Fairymoon, unfortunately the challenge blog is no more now due to the shop closure so I was one of the last lucky winners and this is the fabby stuff I received!

I couldn't wait to get started with all this yumminess so I made this cute little card following the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday.

I have used an elegant shaped cardbase from craftwork cards through the glitterpot. My DP is all papermania cake shoppe from my new hoarde! My lace is from Wild orchids and my spotted ribbon from stash. My flowers are partially prima, part wild orchids. My button is from stash and my strawberry charm from e bay.

My image is the gorgeous Kiki la rue with cupcake from CC designs at all that scraps, coloured with prisma pencils and mounted on a scalloped oval cut with Nellie snellen. My adhesive pearls are also from stash.
I also want to enter this cutie into creative inspirations buttons and bows challenge and corrosives button it up.

OSAAT sponsored by make it crafty photo inspiration/good luck challenge

Hello everyone and happy sunday to you all! Todays challenge over at OSAAT this wk is photo inspired/ goodluck. We are so lucky ths wk to be sponsored by make it crafty and I was able to use one of their fabulous digi scene stamps on my project, the Ivy swing. I have teamed it with a magnolia stamp as I couldn't find a sitting digi for my swing at the time!
I followed the photo inspired theme of autumnal trees and have used freebie papers from shabby princess.

I have coloured my images with Prismas and used flowers from wild orchids with leaves from mulberry crafts, all gittered with copper stickles and my sentiment is waltzingmouse stamps.
The digi swing needed to be quite large to fit my Tilda on so I wanted my swing to come out of the white background so this didn't take over too much of my card. So I painstakingly cut out my leaves and flowers to put on my DP (yep crazy!) If I coloured with markers I could have prob printed on the DP but with pencil colouring the DP would have prob shown through the image too much so I cut out the flora and drew in the branches.

Decoupage pink gem style

Howdy ho peeps hope we are all well out there! Firstly I have to apologise for my photos today, the light was so NOT playing ball here so they aren't so good!
Today I have a card using the cute Andy with skateboard decoupage sheet available at pink gem designs. I'm not a decoupage fan (ok slap me now!) only because I love to colour so much, but this little cutie just had to be made, isn't he fab?!
I have to say though I really like the way this has turned out (for a non decoupage fan!) it is a fabulous effect!

I have followed the sketch for my card over at cute card Thursday this wk and all of my layers are from the one print out of the decoupage sheet. My fabulous papers are also digi downloads from pink gem designs, the stripes and the gingham range. I have inked my edges with Tim's stormy sky, my twine, button, pearls and cardboard star are from stash.
Here you can hopefully see my numerous layers on the image.

I also want to enter this into Paperplays layers challenge, alphabets M for male challenge and Allsorts male card.

Crafty sentiments favourite things challenge

Hello everyone! thanks for popping by my blog agan today. It's thursday which means another challenge over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog and todays challenge is favourite things, such a fabulously easy one this time! Your faves could be colours, papers, colouring medium, image, flowers etc.
I have made a card using this gorgeous new digital image called Taski available here at the crafty sentiments store.
So the favourite things I have used on my card are Fairies, flowers (of course!), glitter, diistressing and Freebies! My paper is another freebie download this time from pixels and ice cream.

I have followed the sketch this week over at card makin mamas. My papers have all been distressed at the edges and then glittered. My chiffon ribbon and pearls are from stash. My flowers (which have also been glittered!) are from wild orchids with my long leaves coming from mulberry crafts. My sentiment stamp is also from crafty sentiments and everything has been inked with Tim's forest moss.

My pretty image has been coloured with Prisma pencils and glittered on her wings. I also want to enter this into Tuesday throwdowns distressing challenge, Top tip tues flowers, Pixie cottages flowers challenge and crafty emmas Angels and fairies challenge.
