Kenny Ks Krafty Girlz going green for mothers day

Happy Sunday everyone! I do hope you are all having great weekends!
Well. it's challenge time again at Kenny Ks Krafty Girlz and we have the theme of going green for mothers day! I have to say I really wasn't sure about this at all especially after my last green creation, however I am determined to create more colourful creations and am going to venture away from my pink and pastels on occasion (not all the time of course!) So I made this....
I have used papers from Prima alla prima collection. My image is the brilliant super Mom image from Kenny K. I think she is fab, just like my mum who always has a pinny wrapped around her waist! I have used lace from prima, flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts, pearl flourish from Sarah's and fab sentiment stamps that I bought recently 2nd hand from a FB blogging pal! I have used fab kraft cardstock for mounting and love this look!
My fabulous image has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have inked my edges in vintage photo. I actually threw this card together in a bit of a rush as I have had a fair few DT projects needing to be finished before my massive week at work with 2 jobs on the go! However, it hasn't turned out that bad for a quick card!
We have some amazing sponsors this week too, so join in with a Kenny K image for a chance at them...
Our first sponsor for this week is of course Kenny K Downloads
and as alway's our prize from Kenny is 5 digital stamps of our winner's choice.

This weeks second sponsor is
Marianne design.

Here's what you could win from Marianne Design.
This Fabulous Stamp and wonderful set of dies too!!

Do check out what the rest of the team have made over at the challenge blog!
I would like to enter my card into....

SFTW Shabby chic photo inspiration

Good morning lovelies! I do hope everyone is well out there!Well I am super excited as my fab new stamps have arrived from Tracey at Dies to die for (I have bought those adorable new TGF stamps) and I'm so desperate to play but I am working for the next 3 days (oh no!)
It's challenge time again though at SFTW and we have a fab photo inspiration with a shabby Chic theme chosen by the fabulous Helene and guess what? I've been at the maggies again! I bought this limited edition Tilda from across the seas and have only just inked her up! Can't believe I waited as she is adorable!
I have used stunning Tilda papers again, these are fab for shabby chic. I have used a tonne of flowers from WOC and a local store, a butterfly from little snippets and a sentiment stamp from Pink Gem designs. My punched border is from a sample selection of die cuts Tracy sent me with my order (grrr wish she wouldn't do that lol as I know I'm gonna have to buy this now as I love it!)
Here is the photo for inspiration....
Fabulous right? You can use the colours or theme/style..
My beautiful image has been coloured with pisma pencils and I have sparkled the falling hearts with glamour dust. I have edged in victorian velvet ink and made my light perspective the top left( I generally do top right) so I quite like the change!
We are sponsored for this challenge by the superb Simon says stamp so do join in for the chance of a great prize!!!!

Divas by design favorite things

Morning everyone! Yep I'm back with a post for Divas by design where our challenge is to use your "favorites" and we are sponsored by crafty pad. Thanks for your comments re my Creative inspirations card below! Yes, I do need to break out the Tildas more often and maybe I shouldn't be so harsh on myself (still don't like it tho lol!)
So what are my favorites then? Well saturated Canary of course! Flowers, butterflies and prisma pencils. Of course I really should have had cheesecloth, pink and pearls in there too but went a bit different this time, I've actually used some colour ooooo!
I have used these fab papers I got free with Quick cards magazine called let's fly away. I thought they would be fab for boys cards and yet still made a girlie one lol! I decided it was about time I used more than 2 colours and more than 2 dp. I do have a habit of playing safe and I actually like this so maybe I should jump out of my safe box a bit more!
I have used Prima lace, ribbons and button from stash, butterfly from little snippets, flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts and sentiment from Stampin Up.
My beautiful image has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have edged in stormy sky ink and have machine stitched all the edges. I'm having issues with my photos again. I darkened them as the colours looked washed out, they are pretty vibrant in reality but I'm not sure you can see that here.
I would like to enter this into.. One stop craft button it, Catch the bug anything goes, Stamp, scrap n doodle use your stash, Crafty Emma's flower frenzy, cupcake cards and crafts spring bouquet, Kaboodle doodles spring flowers, Pollycraft spring has sprung, Totally stampalicious spring is in the air, Pink elephant at least 3 layers, Craft your passion anything goes, craft us crazy colour ispiration and Papertake weekly anything goes.
Do check out the rest of the teams stunning creations with their favorites!
Thanks for coming by my blog!

Creative Inspirations white & Green combo

Hello again! I know I've not been about again! Honestly I swear those time stealing pixies have been having a field day at my house! I never seem to have enough time to get much done at all and I honestly only grab around 5-6 hours sleep!
It's challenge time again at Creative inspirations and we have a St Patrick's day style colour combo for you this wk in the form of green and white.
We are also lucky enough to be sponsored by the Fab Handy hippo this wk so do check it out!
I decided it was about time I delved into the maggie box as I haven't inked them up in a while and can you believe I found no less than 7 brand new uninked stamps and that's not including the minis I have! So I decided to ink up this cutie for the first time. I don't know what is going on with my photo either, this really is more of an apple/lime green in reality!
I have used 12x12 papers from my stash (ooo get me using up some stash lol) so I have no idea what they are sorry, maybe papermania and fancy pants? I have given them all a little crackle paint treatment on the edges too. I have used yummy go kreate dies for my image and frame. I had a little cutting issue with the bottom left of the image, hence the flowers have been positioned so you can't see it lol! My metal frame and butterfly are from e crafts with my flowers coming from WOC, my pearl flourish from Sarah's and my sentiment from SU.
Sweet Tilda has been coloured with prisma pencils and the edge of the image frame has been distressed with peeled paint ink.
I'm not so happy with this card, I hadn't created for a few days with everything being so busy here at the moment and sometimes I get out of my crafty mode when I haven't created in a few days. I think the moral of that is I need to craft more ha!
I would like to enter this into Crafty catz punches and dies, the poodles parlour birthdays, Card makin mamas green and secret crafter green.
Thanks for coming by my blog folks, do check out the rest of the teams creations!
Big hugs to you all

Saturated Canary DT challenge Doilies

Hello again!!! Well I'm a happy bunny this afternoon as my eldest got into her chosen High school (phew) Can't believe my baby girl is going to high school! It's always a worry and it is one of the better high schools in the area so we can concentrate on getting her up to scratch on her maths now and can start buying the uniform!
Well, It's challenge time again over at Saturated canary. I would like to say thanks to all the stunning creations we see in the challenges they are all so pretty, I definitely think Krista's images bring out the nest in people! Our challenge for the next 2 wks is Doilies! I'm actually running low on mine and have been trying to get some little heart ones for  a while but I guess the rush on them over the valentines period makes the stock low! So I had to resort to using my large heart ones, I could have used a die cut of course but I do love these large heart doilies......
I have used stunning Tilda papers on my card from the winter garden collection along with my fab doily from Poppyscabin, lace from Bunnyzoes, my ribbon is from my friend Bonnie, flowers from WOC and a local store, pearl flourish from Sarah's, butterfly from little snippets, pearls from kort & Godt, Metal corner from E crafts (painted with crackle paint) and sentiment is Stempelglede.
My sweet image is Dorothy a ragamuffin from the SC Wizard of Oz range, isn't she just adorable! I have coloured her with prismas, edged in vintage photo ink and used a stempelglede flourish stamp around the edges. I have machine stitched all my layers and image.
See I told you I would be back with a flourish of embellies!
I would like to enter this into Hooked on craft challenges hearts (my doily), LCI pink and girlie, Top tip tues stitching, Simon says stamp anything goes (2nd entry), Flutterby weds open, Dis digi designs lace and pearls and sentimental sundays lace and pearls.
Thanks a tonne for coming by my blog again! There is still time to enter my blog candy!

Just Tracy's Hat challenge

Hello my blogging friends! Well hasn't spring sprung here in the UK?! We had some lovely sunny weather yesterday and even heard folks cutting the grass!
It's world book day at school today so I had the job of getting my kiddies into something that made them look marginally like book characters! Caleb went as Bumblebee from Transformers (not strictly a book but he has the annual and he is 4 you wear what you want when you are 4!) Hiolette went as Matilda, it was hard to find something quickly for her and she has the right style hair so she popped on a dress and off she went! Amelia has gone as Rosalie from twilight (sigh) she has long blonde hair so didn't have much option on the vampire cast list and she wanted to sparkle with body glitter so the vampire diaries was out!
Anyway onto todays card for the new monthly challenge over at Just Tracy's! It's all about HATS yep you need to have a hat somewhere on your creation! This is super easy actually as so many images have hats here is my card...
How much do I love this dramatic "damsel" from Mo's digital pencil?! She is so fab, a real little diva in her dress up clothes! I used MME Miss Caroline papers again (wow I love these, I only have 2 pads of the range so far!) My lace, seam binding and flowers are WOC and my sentiment has been made with simply sweet rub ons.
I have coloured my image in Prisma pencils and have inked all my edges in stormy sky ink. The scroll stamp around the edge of the image is stempelglede. There is shockingly very little in the way of embellies on this, well little for me but don't worry pop back later for my SC DT card and I will have rectified that lol!
I would like to enter this into...
Card makin mamas happy birthday, Simply create too add sunshine to your day, Simon says stamp anything goes, Pixie cottage anything goes, Mos digital pencil anything goes  and Crafts and me lace.
Edited here are the little book characters..
Thanks so much for coming by my blog, do check out what the rest have the fab team have been up to and join in for a chance to win a £15 voucher to the store!!!
Big hugs to all

Creative inspirations anything goes and Divas spots and/or stripes

Hi friends! Sorry for my absence I have been cleaning up the crafty area rather than actually crafting, the dust was immense let me tell you! I also found so many things that I sort of forgot that I had not to mention a tonne of stuff that I have never used (oops) I have even started up a box for my next blog candy and am determined to ink up some more of those stamps that are crying out to be inked even if it's just once lol!
I have to say that I have not been that clear minded of late either as I have been toying with the idea of leaving my job (which I love) after nearly 9 years. But I eventually came to the RIGHT decision and handed in my notice last week. I have a new job that I start next week yay! This does mean I will be working 2 jobs for a bit (the other requiring 4 wks notice) so I may be a bit absent from my crafting until I get more settled.
However it's challenge time again at creative Inspirations and Divas by design! At CI we have the oh so fab theme of anything goes sponsored by The pretty little ribbon shop and at Divas it is spots and/or stripes sponsored by Meljens.
My fab papers are again MME Miss Caroline, my cheesecloth and ribbon are from stash, my flowers are WOC and Prima, my bling and pearl flourish are from Sarah's, my butterfly from little snippets and my Sentiment is SU.
My cute Meljens image has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have added some pink liquid pearls around her too. I have inked all my edges in vintage photo ink.
I would like to enter this into...
OSAAT use a digi/spring, IDIC people, Crafty bloggers network spring time, The crazy challenge anything goes, Party time tues anything goes and Crafty Anns bold and bright.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again, do check out what my teamies have done over at the challenge blogs and join in our challenges too!
