Whoop whoop happy Jubilee weekend my friends!!! How I would have loved to show you a piccie of my kiddies all dressed up yesterday but as soon as they got home they whipped off their clothes for their bathing suits and jumped into the paddling pool!
Do you have much planned to celebrate our Queen's jubilee then? We have the bunting and the flags at the ready and are going to have a big family picnic style party. No street parties around here (too much red tape with councils!) so we are having our own mini celebration. I have photos somewhere of me as a very small girl enjoying the silver jubilee street party, I even have a mug, spoon and pen from back then too!
In keeping with the jubilee and British theme it is time for another Best of British event at Crafty Ribbons and as they are sponsored today by Pink Gem Designs I am sooooo lucky to be GDTing there!
I absolutely loved making this!! Sorry that the card is slightly skew in the photo!
I used the fabulous Portobello rd papers (love these) with the most amazing "keep calm" ribbons from crafty ribbons aren't they just fab! I also used flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts, my sentiment is Waltzingmouse and my post mark stamps are also portobello rd.
It's actually a bitter sweet card as my son's best friend moved yesterday, his dad is in the army so they move a fair bit, so this was a goodbye card for them. Caleb is pretty sad as losing your best friend at 5 yrs old can be hard but we will keep in touch.
This fab patriotic teddy digi from Pink Gem designs has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have machine stitched all the edges and double matted.
I am entering this into
OSAAT red, white and blue, Crafty pad colours of your flag, Simon says stamp anything goes, My mums craft shop red, white and blue, Charisma bling, MAWTT cool Britannia and Digi doodle shops best get the bunting out.
Do check out the rest of the amazing samples from the PGD DT including some of our fab new teamies!
Thanks for coming by again and enjoy your celebrations!
Big hugs
