Poor blogger!

Firstly let me apologise for being such a poor blogger it's been nearly a week since my last post! On thurs I felt a bit poorly and then I worked fri, sat and sun so had no time for cards or blogging, sorry and Mon? Well I've been taken over I'm afraid, possesed by Edward Cullen! Tis true I've only just started reading the twilight saga and read the first one yesterday until 2.30am!!! I have drawn myself back from new moon tonight (barely!) to make some cards! I am desperate to get back though (sad isn't it?!) Anyway onto my card for today!

The sketch is from over on Just magnolia this week so I have made one of my desperately needed easter cards!! I have also followed the secret crafter challenge of pink, green and flowers and also the theme over on crafty angels for easter.

I have used papers from wild rose candy floss stack. Image from magnolia coloured with prismas. Roses and rose buds from mulberry crafts with mcgill branch punch for foliage. The butterflies are cut with xcut dimensions ounch and pearls from the hobby house. The lace is from stash and sentiment computer printed. I distressed edges with tattered rose distress ink. I'm also working a fair bit this wk but will do my best to get more cards on (if Mr Cullen loosens his grip!) hugs to all thanks so much for popping by xxx

Sunday sketch and Anya Ink

Yes it's another post from me! (although strictly speaking my previous wed post was posted far too late tues night!) I have been itching to craft all day even thought the ironing is calling me like crazy lol! So I have whipped up this little card with a cute cheeky cherry from TGF and have followed the sketch over on sunday sketch and stamp which I have of course adapted in my own little way! I'm also putting this forward for Anya Ink which is along the theme of bling this week! but just for fun.

I have used yummy papers from wild rose studios candy floss pack. Lace and feathers from stash (I bought a hen night feather boa from the pound shop and also had a red one sent to me with my cherries from TGF!) The metal flower is from the hobby house and the cute sentiment is from a divine collection (of which this was free!) from MMdesigns digi stamps. My little diamantes (fiddly as heck!) are from ebay.

Thanks so much for coming by and leaving your comments! Maybe I should give this little bit of love card to my husband by way of compensation for my constant card making! Hugs to all xxxx

Creative cottage DT card

It is strictly weds when I post this but I really should be in bed lol! Todays card is my Dt card for the creative cottage challenge which this week we have a the theme of Sparkly. I know thst you wouldn't really think of doing a sparkly boy card but I had trouble when I came to make this card! I had all these lovely creative cottage papers on my computer and my printer ran out of ink! So my only printed papers were from the creative cottage Pirate monkey so a sparkly boy card it became!

I used Sugarnellie Pirate Luca stamp along with stampin up sentiment, tag from rusty pickle, ribbon from stampin up and star brads from stash. The sparkly element is the shiny metallic red cardstock its mounted on and the stickles used around the image and sentiment star shapes and he has stickles on his earring, belt buckle, dagger and shoe buckles if you can get a close look! I inked all the papers with black ink for a darker and more aged look.

Thanks for coming by to look again, go along and join in at the creative cottage challenge with fab digi kits to be won and some fabulous work from my fellow DT members! Hugs all xxx

Monochrome easter card

Evening everyone. I know it's late on tues but as hubby is on nights this week it makes it difficult to craft and blog during the day as craft and computer area are right outside bedroom! Anyway today I have followed the cute sketch over on crafty sentiments and they also wanted a monochromatic theme. I'm also putting this forward for the totally gorjuss challenge to use ribbon. I have unconventionally used my thick stampin up ribbon as if it were patterned paper this time.

I have used PP from papermania capsule collection. Flowers from Mulberry crafts Mcgill branch punch, computer sentiment ripped and a cute free digi image from Sliekje she has free images all the time on her blog and they are really cute! I have inked and ditressed all edges and used orange stickles on the eggs and flowers (it looks kinda like golden eggs!)

This is my first easter card so far, I doubt I will have time to make many!! Anyway thanks so much for taking the time to come by and look and for leaving your comments, hugs to all xxx

Prima flowers from stash with purple adhesive gems also from stash. Sentiment stamp from stampin up vintage labels collection.

Friday sketch and another Chloe!

Well happy friday to you all! As another week draws to a close so does another weekend of work draw nearer for me :( Oh well only 2 days and then I can get back to crafting again!
Today I have made a card using the sketch over on friday sketchers using another of my Chloe stamps from pink gem designs. This is Chloe with flowers which looks sort of like a bridesmaid stamp, so so cute! I am also putting this card forward for the cute card thursday challenge of anniversary cards (I would happily give this as an anniversary card) and also for the stamp something challenge of distressing.

I have used papermania rose garden papers again on this card and have distressed all edges with ink and a baby wipe (yes you heard it here first lol!) I have used lace from my stash, charm from e bay I think, roses from mulberry crafts, McGill branch punch and lovely Chloe and sentiment tag stamp both from Pink gem designs.

Thanks so much for coming by again and leaving your comments. I hope someone can grab a little inspiration from me! I love sharing my cards with you all so thanks for looking! Hugs to all xxx

I love Chloe!

Morning all, hope we are all well today! Well i have just had my gorgeous pink gem stamps through the post and they are just yummy! They have just introduced their new Chloe and Andy ranges and I just love Chloe! I'm not generally a big fan of clear stamps, I'm a rubber and EZ mount fan! I do however already have some cute pink gem designs stamps and when I saw these new ones I just had to have them! (I bought 3 Chloes!) I have followed the sketch over at pink gem designs for this month for this card.

I have used the papermania rose garden collection papers again, these are just lush! I have used cardstock from stampin up soft subtles range. Lace and pearls from stash. Roses are from mulberry crafts. Branch punch is McGill. I have used Distress ink tatterred rose on the image and the sentiment. Both image and sentiment stamp are from Pink Gem designs.

Thanks for coming by and taking a look again! Hugs to all xx

I'm so excited!

Hi everyone! Well how excited was I when I recieved an e mail this morn asking me to be a design team member over on the creative cottage challenge blog! The digi kits are just so yummy and easy to work with I can't wait to get started! Ok so I'm just a little excited! Thanks guys for asking me!!!

But todays card, which is also made with a digi stamp was already in the making! I got this cute freebie image over on pollycraft challenge (who are also looking for DT members!), how cute is this?! I have entered the challenge which is sparkly. I am also putting this forward for the totally gorjuss challenge of sweet and have followed the sketch over on crafty sentiments this week.

I have used yummy papers from wild rose studios candy floss pad (I just knew they were perfect for this image!) with papermania sweet nothings chipboard corners, lace from stash and sentiment stamp from stampin up which I got from my sister thanks Sarah!!

The sparkly stuff is the stickles used on my cupcake image, the sweet element is obvious no doubt!! I really like this image and can't wait to use it again. Thanks so much for coming by to look and leaving your comments! hugs xxx

Anyone for anya ink?!

Hi again everyone, thanks ever so much for coming by to look at my blog and my cards! Today I have done a spring card for the anyone for anya challenge and also following the anya ink sketch.

I have used cheery arte papers, with flowers and brads from stash. Ribbon from the paper mill, sentiment stamp from stampin up vintage labels collection and x cut butterfly punch.

Cheeky cherry shooter from TGF is coloured with prismas as per the norm. I know shooter isn't a spring type image but I think she "freshens" up pretty good! It's a bit of a standard card for me but it's nice and bright just like the weather today!!
Thanks again for coming by all your comments are read and appreciated thank you!! hugs xx

Magnolia tent card

Hi everyone, thanks for popping by again. I will keep it brief today as my darling 2 yr old son has been up all night wheezing and coughing and is still poorly so I am not only tired but being busy mummy today! I have managed to get a quick tent card done though whilst he napped just in time for the just magnolia tent card challenge. I am also putting this forward for the creative inspirations challenge which is to use a charm on your card.

I have used papers from the basic grey lemonade pad, ribbon from american crafts elements, butterfly punched with xcut punch and a butterfly charm from e bay, I got 5 in different colours, they weren't cheap but I think they are just stunning!

Tilda in her patchwork dungarees is coloured with prismas as per the norm and the backgrond paper inside the card is pale pink mulberry paper flecked with gold lamenta.

I enjoyed making these tent cards, another dimension card to add to the list, an ordinary card just isn't going to cut it anymore!! Thanks so much for cooming by to look and post comments, I will go back to being florence nightingale now! Hugs all xx

My Mums mothers day card

Yes I've done it at last! I have managed to make my own mums mothers day card in amoungst all those orders! I made a concertina card which I was inspired to do by Shelley over on her fabulous and inspiring blog here, thanks Shelley! I have entered this into the creative cottage challenge which is a new challenge blog and so starts with the theme of new and as this card technique is new to me aswell as this gorgeous new greeting farm stamp I felt it applied! I have also put this forward for this weeks Anya ink challenge as it is embossing and little Amelia is on a piece of flower embossed card.

For this card I have used wild rose studio candy floss stack papers again! I have also used flower embossed cardstock, not sure where from as it was in a kit. I have also used tim hotlz distress ink in tattered rose on the papers and cardstock. The sentiments are computer printed, the roses are mulberry roses and the little heart brads from my stash. Amelia is from the happy day set at TGF and has been coloured with Prismas. (with my own daughter being called Amelia she was a must!!)

I have put in a closer view of Amelia as she is so cute!

Now all I have to do is try and fit it in the envelope, I think that is going to be my biggest challenge lol! Thanks as always for coming by and leaving your comments! Hugs xx

Crafty angels butterfly card

Good morning all, thanks for coming by to look at my latest card effort! This is a card made for a guys mums birthday, again requesting no character just something simple like butterflies or flowers. I tend to struggle with these and really should get some simple flower stamps (whens the next stampin up party?!!) as I do rely on my character images so much and love them too so love making cards with them! Anyway I had this butterfly left over from some scrapbooking supplies so decided to make a card which also follows the butterfly theme over on crafty angels this week.

I used papers from wild rose studios candy floss stack (I must get more of these!) with sentiment stamp from stampin up, butterfly punched out with xcut punch, pearls and metal flower from the hobby house, brad and petals from my stash. I also used my faithful martha stewart punch and some hobby craft ribbon and some stickles on the flowers. Another view for dimensions -

Thanks so much to everyone for coming by and leaving comments! Hugs to all xxx

Totally Gorjuss and all that scraps

Evening everyone! I just couldn't resist making another card today especially with such yummy stamps like this one! This is one of the new sweet november baby bunnies by cc designs, how cute?!!! I am putting this forward for the all that scraps weekly weds challenge (I hope I'm still in time! It's tues here!) which is dots and stripes and also for the totally gorjuss challenge which is the sketch I followed.

I have used yummy papers from K & Co and wild rose studio candy floss pack with pink cardstock, mulberry roses and some cute glitter ribbon from hobby craft, this stuff is quite thick so it makes a little bump on my card!

I guess this could be an easter, spring or birthday card. I just love the colours and the cute image! I've popped in another view just for good measure!

Thanks for popping by and looking hugs to all xxx

Todays card

Hi again everyone! I have decided to put this card foward for a few challenges, hence the title just being todays card! I guess with limited time I need to get some cards in for more than just one or two challenges! I have followed the sketch over on the sugar bowl, I'm quite late this time but still just about in time for it!

I have also put this forward for the simon says stamp challenge of mothers day / girlie, it's not pink but it is nice to have a girlie card with these soft muted colours don't you think?! Also for the stamp something challenge which is also going with a girlie theme this week and lastly cupcake craft challenges which are having a flower power theme over there. Thats not a difficult one for me as nearly everything I do incorporates a flower somewhere!

I have used wild rose studios milton and Co papers again, mounted on orange cardstock. The punched piece with martha stewart punch was actually sent free to me from tracy at dies to die for when I placed an order, I don't actually have this punch (yet!). The large flower eyelet and small ones are from the crop a dile set, flowers brad and chiffon ribbon from stash. The metal flower again from the hobby house. The gorjuss girl stamp was coloured with prismas again. Thanks sooo much for coming by and leaving comments, I'm finding so much inspiration on blogs recently, I hope I can ispire some others too! Hugs xxx

Sketch sat/anyone for Anya

Evening everyone again! I have made this card following the sketch over on sketch saturday and have also put this forward for the anyone for anya challenge which is mums the word, a card for mums. I haven't put a sentiment on this card but would still consider it a mum or mothers day orientated card!

For this card I have used Dovecraft charcoal prints monochromatic paper, some shimmer pink cardstock. Flower and gem brad from my stash, metal flower from the hobby house and tiny metal spacer beads with woodware liquid pearls on top. The gorgeous stamp is of course Geisha Anya coloured with prismas. Another view for dimension purposes -

Thanks for looking and coming by again, hopefully my 3 cards today make up for the lack of them in the last 4 days!! Hugs all xxx

Something a little different

Hi again, thanks for popping by! I did this card by request and strangely they wanted no stamped character image!! So I had to resort to some good old faithful stampin up stamps, this is the bold butterfly range, currently retired I'm afraid (I have these stamped all around my lounge walls too!)

I decided to do a tent card so it was a little different, I found the tutorial over on the just magnolia blog and will def be using it again! I used papermania capsule papers again and ribbon from my stash, thats all really just plain and simple but thats what they wanted! thanks again for looking! hugs xx
