A birthday card

Hello again all! Today I have made a birthday card, makes a change from the mothers day ones! It was for the birthday card challenge over on Just magnolia I used this adorable Happy tilda stamp that I have just got, this is lovely for so many occasion cards. I have also put this card forward for the basic grey challenge (my sister will be gasping in shock aswell as leaping for joy!) I had never even set eyes on basic grey papers whereas she just loves them so I thought it was about time I got stuck in and I'm so glad I have because they really are just yummy! The challenge was to use maroon, pink and lemon.

I have used basic grey papers from the lemonade collection, along with prima painterly petals and mulberry roses. Foliage punched with McGill branch punch, sentiment stamp papermania, ribbon from my stash, as was the florist heart pin and beads. Now does my photo look like it has been take at 11.30pm?! I think not, thanks to my new portable lighting studio thingy (technical huh?) I got it from maplins thanks to a recommendation from Dawny p and have got my sister one too! Thanks again for coming by to look, oooh update I sort of have a bath plumbed in, hence being able to make a card this eve but we will have to check for leaks in the morning! (lol at our DIY plumbing!) hugs xxx

And another card!

Hi to everyone who has popped by for some inspiration or support, thank you! It's really appreciated! I have another card in the same eve (gasp in shock!) I think I am gearing up for the fact that I may have to spend all day tomorrow helping to plumb in our bath and then I have a training day with work on saturday and am preparing for a hangover on sunday so the creative flow maybe temporarily interupted!
This is my card (another mothers day one) using the sketch over on crazy 4 challenges this week

I have also put this forward for the challenge over on secret crafters which is to make a mothers day or mother orienated card and for the challenge on cute card thursday which is to use ribbon in their ribbon-tastic challenge.
I have used this cute CC designs stamp on papermania paper. The cardstock underneath I found in my stash, a gorgeous shimmering lilac, it is yummy! I used my martha stewart doily punch and my xcut butterfly punch again with pearls from the hobby house and ribbon from American crafts. I also used some green glitter cardstock, I've just picked up another 2 books from hobbycraft it's 12 A5 sheets and I bought it last easter so this year bought another 2 books as it's so sparkly! Thanks so much for popping by and leaving your comments! xx

Papertake weekly sketch

Evening everyone! Thanks for coming by to look at my blog! Today I did a card with the sketch over on papertake weekly challenge. This is a lovely sketch with some great examples from the DT. I have used another of my TGF cheeky cherries stamps, this is Cheeky Rockabilly, isn't she cute? I have used papers from K&Co and Papermania and some mulberry paper from my stash. I have punched out foliage with my Mcgill branch punch and used roses from mulberry crafts. I printed off a computer sentiment and put a little stickles on the flowers. All the papers have been either distressed or inked, thanks for looking again! xx

Mojo Mon sketch/ Gorjuss flower power

Hi again! Thanks to everyone who pops by to see my creations, I hope you enjoy my work and I can offer a little bit of inspiration! I've based todays card on the sketch over at mojo monday, another one that I love! I also thought this card was good for the challenge of flower power over on totally gorjuss as The PP has roses and I've added a rose extra!

For my card I used the yummy papers from the wild rose studio, you can find these at my new fave shop the glitter pot, I also used the xcut dmensions butterfly pumch with some pearls for the body and martha stewart doily lace punch. The ribbon is from my stash along with computer printed sentiment and rose from mulberry crafts. My gorgeous Anya flutter stamp was coloured with Prismas and a little stickles. Everything is mounted on glitter card stock, I love this card so much I am in a dilema as to whether to give it to my mum or sell it lol! Thanks for coming by to look and leaving me your comments! xxx

Cheeky sat sketch!

Didn't I tell you I would be back again?!! I just couldn't help myself with the Cheeky Cherries arrival! This is Cheeky shooter, she is just adorable! I have made this card with the sketch over on sketch saturday and I have to say that I just loved this sketch!! I am also putting this forward for the anyone for Anya challenge which was to do or use something totally different. Well a, this is the first time I have used this stamp and b, the first time I have put feathers on my card, neither of these will be the last either!

I have used Papermania capsule papers again (very boudoir!) with some glitter cardstock, Prima and mulberry flowers, computer sentiment and feathers which came courtesy of my free feather boa from the greeting farm with my cheeky cherries!! I coloured Cheeky with Prismas as per norm, thanks for looking and for commenting peeps! xx

Anya card

First of all I want to say how thrilled I was to be in the top 3 of last weeks Anya Ink comp. It was fab to come 2nd! It's so nice to know other people like the work you do!! The card I did was this one, which would have also been great for this weeks challenge too to use the colours blue grey and cream. However for this weeks Anya ink challenge I did this card.

I used Geisha Anya stamp and papers from wild rose studio candy floss pack. The flower is mulberry crafts with the foliage punched with Mcgill branch punch and the ribbons from my stash, I used the sketch over on Club Anya's sat sketch, I won't link as they are having issues with their site at the mo. Thanks as always for looking and leaving comments! Cue hyperventilation ...... My cheeky cherries arrived today from the greeting farm so I may even post later too! hugs all xx

Just Magnolia wk 43 sketch

Today I did a card using the gorgeous sketch over on just magnolia. I just loved this sketch and the DT's examples. It's def one I will use more than once! I made a mothers day card (as I really need to get a few of these made for selling purposes asap) with some stunning papers from Papermania's capsule collection, this is the red hot paper pack. I used the adorable butterfly tilda image coloured as per usual with Prismas and some stickles. The flowers are Prima painterly petals hydrangeas with little roses from mulberry crafts again. The butterfly charm is from the hobby house and the sentiment computer printed.

I really need to invest in a light box thingy when taking photos in the eve as usual so apologies for poor picture quality, maybe I should slope off and order one now! Thanks for looking again and for your lovely comments!

Paper Piecing Anya card

This is my card for the paper piecing challenge over on club Anya I used the cute Pirate Anya from the Matey collection and pieced paper from Rusty Pickles Pirate princess collection for her bandana top and shorts, I did do a little colouring on her top so her stripes would stand out! All the papers are from the same range on the card with a little distressing and ome ribbon from my stash. Quite simple but she is cute enough! Thanks for looking again peeps! xx Oh and apologies for all the poor light in photos at the mo, what with late night blogging and dreadful weather daylight is absent at the mo and the desk lamp is working overtime!!

Sketch sat & monochromatic cards

I am a bit later today as I had a real stress with my card this morn, between that and constant child issues! So I scrapped the whole card and started again! I'm so glad I did too! This is so much better and I am very pleased. I used the sketch over on sketch saturday, I used an idea from a couple of the DT's with the ribbons, it's such a cute effect! I also carried the theme over on Anya Ink which is monochromatic cards. I have used an adorable stamp from the Miss Anya rain snow shine collection coloured in with my faithful prismas. The papers are papermania creative tones, the flowers are from a great range at Mulberry crafts with the foliage punched with my McGill branch punch. The sentiment is computer printed and the chiffon ribbon from my stash. I also added a little stickles to the white roses for a little blingy touch! I distressed all the paper and am really pleased with the final result (haven't I said that already!). Thanks for looking again and thanks for all your lovely comments! xx

Just magnolia wk42 Love card

I know Valentines has past but a love card can be sent to practically anyone at any time really just to say I love you and prob should, so this is my card for the just magnolia love challenge. I don't have as many magnolia images as I would like which is just an excuse to buy some more! On this card I have used papers from De create with prima flowers including painterly petals and mulberry roses. The sentiment is papermania and the metal flower from a selection at the hobby house, I'm not completely convinced on the final result of this card but thanks for looking anyway!! xx

Sugar bowl sketch 29 Tiets sketch

Two posts in one day surely unheard of?! In my house it is, but I guess I am preparing for even less posts over the next few days? You never know! Anyway I really liked the look of challenge 29 on the sugar bowl I also needed to add one button, two brads and three flowers. I used one of my fabulous gorguss girl stamps for this along with some scrapbook walls and papermania paper. The felt ribbon is papermania, the leaves prima and the mulberry flowers from e bay though a fantastic selection can be also found at wild orchid crafts. Thanks for looking again! xx

Flower power/ friday sketchers

Hi everyone, I apologise now for sporadic blogging as it is half term and I now have 3 children to entertain as opposed to 2 normally! I am hoping to still keep up with some challenges though. This card is the sketch over on friday sketchers and also kept with the theme of flower power over on the anyone for anya blog. That was easy for me as I pretty much always include flowers or floral paper of some kind! The stamp I have used is Megan from the greeting farm, the papers are K&Co, the ribbon is Maya road and the flowers from my stash, I have used the McGill pine branch punch to make the pink foliage. Thanks again for looking and for your comments!

Mojo monday sketch

Happy thursday all! Today I have decided to do the mojo monday sketch #125. I am always behind on the daily sketches, it's a good job I have a wk to do them in! This was an unusual sketch and quite simple and I actually quite like my end result. I have used creative memories papers with another cc design stamp and a sentiment from papermania. Thanks for looking as always!

Club Anya sketch sat #5

This is my take for the sketch sat over on club Anya I have used this really cute stamp called ruby from the wild sprouts range over on the greeting farm. I have used papers from K&Co and as I don't have a scalloped oval punch or nestabilities (I know I'm behind the times!) I have used buttons under the image to create the scalloped effect for the sketch. Thanks for looking everyone! xx

Well as much as I would like to say having my husband off hasn't affected my blogging it clearly has! I didn't even have work this wkend but I haven't been able to sneak off card making!
I have chosen to use a lovely sugar nellie stamp for this card, the little goth girl from the gorguss girl stamp range. I have used rusty pickle papers again with some rub ons, prima flowers and gem brad, sentiment is papermania. I have used the sketch over on sketch saturday and have created a birthday card in amoungst all the valentine madness (even though I did use lots of pink!). Sketch saturday #88

Hi again, thanks for looking at my interpretation of sketch 88 over on sketch saturday I used the "me time" Anya stamps for this card which I think I will most likely use as a mothers day card. I couldn't even tell you where i got my bubble and soap resin embellishments from they have been in my stash for an age! I have used lots of bling with stickles on the bubbles, glitter card and pearls and sparklies, nothing like a sparkly card to make me smile! Thanks again xx

Lollipop Anya

Tee hee whilst my darling husband is off having his minor foot op I'm taking the opportunity to craft something! I was desperate to get into the crazy 4 challenges challenge this week as the theme is lollipops and I have been waiting for an excuse to use my new lollipop Anya stamp and I knew I had these cute little resin lollipop embellishments that I got as a free gift once so these were perfect for C4C22! I also used the anyone for anya sketch this wk as it seemed to fit so well with this theme on my card. I'm really quite pleased with the way this little cutie has turned out, such cute girlie colours. I have used patterned paper from paper mania and doodlebug and sentiment stamp from Stampin up. I hope you like her too thanks for looking! xx

Anya Ink Sketch

If only I didn't work wkends I would be able to do more cards! As it is I have gone 3 days without posting, well 4 if you count that it's now past midnight tues! Anyway I kept this card simple due to lack of time and it is a male card so I guess the less fussy the better! I have used the sketch over on Anya ink and for this card I have used skater Ian with paper from KI memories and Cherry Arte with chipboard from American crafts, most of this came in a kit my sister bought me for my birthday Thanks sis! I would like to say I will get more cards on soon as there are so many challenges I am eager to get stuck into but as my hubby goes into hospital tomorrow afternoon rendering him incapacitated for a bit this could be tricky, although I could sneak off it's not like he can run after me! Thanks for looking again, all your comments are appreciated!
