Good morning friends! I have another one of those dreaded commission cards lol! I shouldn't complain but I was requested to make an elderly ladies birthday card with a cat image on..... errr I had to search out the internet for a vintage cat image and found this on a site called reuseable art.
I chose to use kaisercraft papers for a vintage look with lace and flowers from wild orchids. I also had some dough lilles from stash and some other flowers from Kort & Godt. My pearls and ribbon are from stash and the sentiment is computer printed.
My little image was printed straight from the net and inked with vintage photo. I figured why not give it a vintage look, I just can't help myself!
I haven't really been keeping up with the challenges this wk as my blogging has been sporadic due to spending time with my mum. We had a fab time yesterday at the opening of our new John Lewis home shop ooo it was nice then on for lunch at frankie and bennys and wow wasn't it a scorcher of a day!
Anyway I think I can pop this one into Party time tues anything goes, Simon says stamp anything goes, Pennys paper crafty anything goes and crafts and me flowers challenge.
Thanks so much for coming by today and big hugs to all

Creative inspirations last GDT pink, purple and grey colour combo
HI blogging pals! Yes as the title suggests it is my last GDT spot over with creative inspirations and it has been wonderful to be amoungst such fabulously talented DT so........... when Nat asked me if I would consider joining the DT full time I said Yes!
The challenge for this wk has been sponsored by the fab paper shelter which the DT have showcased wonderfully and our challenge is a colour theme of pink, purple and grey.
My card has been made using the sketch over at cute card thursday this wk and I have used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers (again!) thats 3 projects on the trot now lol! My daughter just adores this funky waitress image from paper shelter, she is really cool! I sort of went more lilac than purple in my colours but it fits right?!!
My doily is from poppyscabin, my flourish is magnolia doo hickey, my flowers wild orchids, my gems and ribbon are from stash and my sentiment is SU.
I have coloured my image with prismas (yes my new ones have now arrived despite the £20 customs charge!) and I have inked the edges with dusty concord and machine stitched.
I would also like to enter this into Kaboodle doodles use a doily, Lollipop crafts anything goes, the crazy challenge 3 colours, Theres magic in the air die cuts, Stamp scrap and doodle fave colours (pink!) and paper sundaes anything goes.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again, sorry if I'm absent in my visiting at the mo, my mum is keeping me busy aswell as my sick children lol!

Over at Creative card crew we have another challenge and are so lucky to be sponsored by the fab Michelles scrapbooking, she has some fab deals on spellbinders so please check them out!
This time our challenge is to make an easel card. I always wonder why I don't make these more often, I guess because they can be so hard to photograph lol!

I have used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers again along with cheesecloth, prima lace, flowers from Wild orchids, snowflakes cut with Mariannes, tabs cut with nesties fancy tags, sentiment from Waltzingmouse and pearls from stash.
My image has been coloured with Prisma pencils and edged in vintage photo. All edges have been machine stitched and I masked the image and used 7 gypsies snowflake and postage mark to create the background. My flowers have been given a snowtex and glamour dust treatment too.
I would also like to enter this into Whimsy polka dots challenge (the bottom sheet is spotty promise!), Sweet sketch wednesday for their fab sketch, Sweet stampin anything goes (thanks for spotlighting me last wk ladies!), One stop crafts Easel cards, Magnolia down under fancy fold, Crafty pad stitching, Magnolia stamp lovers distressing, Pile it on fancy folds, Sparkles forum something that sparkles, Incy wincy fancy folds and come and get it Easel card.

Crafty sentiments new release and banners challenge
Good morning friends! I have been a bit busy so apologies for my absence at the moment! Today sees another new release and a new challenge again over at crafty sentiments and this is my last DT post for the team.
I have been on the crafty sentiments team for just over a year now but it is time to move on. I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside some wonderfully talented ladies and am grateful for the opportunity I had to work with some wonderful images.
So for my last creation, 2 new releases. There are several sets of baby stamps (1 digi) released today along with the new crafty cutters vintage tag die I previewed last wk and our challenge for this wk is bunting/banners.
This is the cute baby boy image and sentiment which are both crafty sentiments. I have used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers, along with some cheesecloth, ribbon, button, twine and pearls from stash. My banners have been cut with a whimsy die and my sentiment has been cut with the new crafty cutters die. My little metal heart is making memories.
I have coloured my image with Prismas and edged in stormy sky ink.
I do hope you can join us on the challenge and please check out the other fab new releases showcased by the wonderful DT!
I am also entering this into Creative craft world new (new baby), Delicious doodles cute as a button, Dream valley buttons and Corrosive punches/dies.
Thanks for coming by my blog again, hugs to all

Happy weekends everyone! I hope you all have some lovely things planned for your weekends! A card and a wonderful surprise
Happy friday my wonderful blogging friends! Today I have made a card using one of those super sassy girls from sugar nellie, I just love this hippy chick and really felt the need to colour her again having recently seen her on my blog hopping travels and as the sketch over at the deconstructed sketch was definately my type I just had to!
I have used the yumminess of black market paper society papers again. I'm hoping they will be in stock again soon at Craftie Charlie! I have also used this stunning butterfly from Prima, a sentiment from SU with flowers from wild orchids.
I have coloured my image with prismas, inked the edges with worn lipstick and vintage photo ink and stamped a Stempelglede swirl stamp around the edge. All papers have been machine stitched.
I would also like to enter this into Lexis creations Autumn (my colours are Autumnal), The crazy challenge birthdays, Flutterby wednesday open, My mums craft shop happy birthday, Rubys rainbow one for the girls, Delightful girlie girl, Crafty purple frog fall, Digi doodle shops best Autumn colours, Allsorts flowers and swirls and Crafty pad autumnal colours.
Now on to my surprise, well the reason I didn't tell you where my superb pink pearl flourish and pretty gem and butterfly pin came from is that I had a wonderful parcel this morning from my sweet and kind friend Bonnie and they were a few of the many things inside! Bless darling Bonnie for sending me a fabulous box of goodies for my birthday and the most amazing card ever!
I'm slightly ashamed to post a photo of this alongside my own card as it is truly a work of art! From one massive Twilight fan to another what more could one want than this.....
Well I was stunned and my daughters were incredibly awed I struggled to get them out the house for school! This is a card to my heart and so completely beautiful it is! Inside the pocket Bonnie has put some totally droolable photos of RP, may be looking at this all night lol!
Thanks to you all for coming by my blog again today and massive hugs to all of you
