OSAAT card for mum challenge

Hi there everyone! I know my blog has been quiet of late but normality should hopefully resume next wk!!
Todays challenge over at OSAAT is a card for mum. It will be Mothers day shortly in the UK and even if that isn't a good enough excuse, mums always appreciate a card even for no reason at all!
I have been give the Lily frame by floppy latte to work with which is part of the March collaboration in store. If you haven't heard of the collabs, all you have to do is spend $10 in store and you get the collab of that month free! there are a stack of papers and images all from each creator in the store, such an amazing freebie!!

The frame is perfect for just a sentiment but you know me and my colouring lol! I have masked the digi stamp with a rubber one, this is a new sweetpea stamp available here and she goes just perfectly! I have then added a selection of flowers from prima and mulberry crafts and another of my fab butterflies from e crafts (will have to get more of these!). My images have been coloured with prisma pencils and my paper is from the dovecraft funky vintage collection.

I have used some pink felt like orante binding from papermania across the card that I have had for ages and can never find a use for! I have also taken 2 chipboard hearts and painted them with old paper crackle paint by King Holtz himself (so gutted he was in UK recently and I never knew!!!!) and edged them in worn lipstick ala Holtzy too. My mum sentiment is rub ons from simply sweet and I have punched a hole to attach my floral charm purchased from e bay.

Crafty sentiments spring challenge

Hiya folks today is another challenge over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog and this wk it's spring! I have used the sketch this wk over at sketch saturday for my card and have used this super cute Amy image available at the crafty sentiments store in polymer just perfect for the warmer cards!

My papers were freebies an age ago with a magazine and have been sitting in that ever increasing scrap box that I am delving into as much as possible these days!!!
My flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts and my post mark sentiment is whimsy which I bought through quixotic. My buttefly is again from e crafts (just can't get enough of these!) with some stickles to enhance it's already sparkle!

My sweet image has been coloured with prismas and cut and mounted on the card. I am also entering this into Party time tues anything goes challenge.

Craft us crazy monthly sponsor the cutting cafe

Hello peeps! I'm afraid I may be a bit quiet this wk, it is half term after all which means many children about the house for me and also a visit to my mums so not so much crafting or blogging!

Here I have made a little spring/easter basket using a freebie downloadable template from Waltzingmouse.

My handle has been made with the peace background template and an MS doily punch. My tag has also been made with one of the peace sentiments and a sizzlits tag die.
The papers I have used are from robyns fetish coney island papers available at the stitchy bear store.

My flowers are from mulberry crafts, I have used large daisies and calla lillies. I also used my MS doily punch to create edging and tied the corners together with gold chiffon ribbon from my stash.

I have filled my little basket with yummy foam fruits, of course I had to eat a few during the taking of these photos!!

No square cards at OSAAT

Hiya folks happy sunday to you all! It's challenge time again at OSAAT and this time our challenge is for you to make something other than a square card.
I actually went down the CAS route this time which is so unlike me but I figured why not?! I am highlighting our designer gingerloft this wk and have been given her stitched hearts digi to use which I cut out and layered on my card.

This is actually a good luck in your new home card for some friends of ours that moved house this wkend. I have used nitwits paper along the bottom of my rectangular card along with ribbon and twine from stash. My sentiment is Waltzingmouse.

A Gem of a challenge brads beads buttons and bows

Hello everyone! Goodness it's saturday already and that means it's time for another challenge over at A gem of a challenge which is all the B's! We want you to use brads, beads, buttons and bows on your creations (1, 2 or more if you dare of the 4 items!) Did you enjoy our blog hop? Well pop on over to the challenge blog tomorrow to find out who has won what. The random winner of my candy will be announced tomorrow too when all entries have been checked.
Well, if you saw my WOYWW post you would have seen my pretty Chloe all coloured and ready for my card but alas there was a glue incident coming through the image and I had to start over!! I was going to use the same image but then I came across this adorable Chloe which I haven't used in a while so I inked her instead!!
I have followed the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday and have used papermania rose garden papers for this card.

I have chose to use a button and bow on my card (no brads or beads here) Both of these are from my stash along with my lace around the image. My flowers are wild orchids with my pink tulips coming from e crafts along with my gold metal scroll corner and my shimmer butterfly which I have edged in stickles (note my new fave toys in the same place on my previous card lol!). My sentiment stamp is crafty sentiments and my image is from the pink gem store. I have given this a vintage look with tea dye distress ink.

Pretty Chloe has been coloured with prisma pencils as per the norm and you may just be able to see my band of pink tulle runnning up behind the image and under the bow!

Crafty sentiments Lemon and Lilac challenge

Happy Thursday folks! If anyone is interested in the pink gem blog hop see post below for link, also scroll down for the 2nd challenge over at craft us crazy!!
On to todays card for our challenge at crafty sentiments which has been set by little old me and it's a colour challenge. I want to see Lemon and Lilac colour combos! there are so many colour combos I love but this is so fresh and pretty.
My card has been created with the fabulous Vicky available as a digi stamp at the crafty sentiments store and I have used papers from the papermania capsule collection which have sat in my stash for ages as I only ever seem to use digi papers these days! I have also followed the sketch for this over at sketch and stash this time.

My pretty flowers are wild orchids with the large hip rose buds coming from mulberry crafts. My tulle was an e bay purchase and my ribbon buckle was wild orchids too. My sentiment stamp is waltzingmouse with gems and glitter cardstock from stash.

She is definately a new favourite CS image of mine! I know my paper isn't strictly lemon, more yellow but you get the gist right?!
I also want to enter this into Crafty creations thankyou challenge and secret crafters a stamped flower challenge.

Craft us crazy 2nd challenge "Winter" with Meljens

Hiya folks! I hope everyone is well out there! Well despite being organised and colouring my Chloe for my PG DT project (see WOYWW post below) the glue came through her when putting the card together so I had to start over ggrr!
However, I think I have managed to sort it out with an entirely different image now! Well, haven't 2 wks just flown by?! It's our 2nd challenge over at Craft us crazy! Thanks so much to everyone who joined in with our anything goes challenge last time.Our challenge this time is Winter (I'm hoping more for spring here!)
I have followed the sketch this wk over at sketch saturday and have used creative cottage papers (snow much fun).

My gorgeous brown lace and fab flowers are wild orchids, with a pink gems sentiment stamp, xcut branch punch and ribbons from stash. I have glittered my flowers and snow in image and have added some little blue blingy gems in the corners. My image has again been coloured with prismas.

We are of course sponsored this time by the fabulous Meljens, who were kind enough to give me my cute bunny to work with!

WOYWW

Hey everybody! For my creative cottage DT post please scroll down! It's time for another whats on your workdesk wednesday. If you haven't got into this yet pop across to the stampin ground have a nosey about and join in!
Today on my work space is an up and coming DT project for Pink gems (you can just see my coloured Chloe but it doesn't give anything away!) There are a couple of other projects lurking about but I do keep my desk fairly tidy due to small children and the ability to run off at full speed with anything left unguarded! My trusty hair clip is there too ready to keep me sorted for action!

I also wanted to give you a quick looksie under my desk. That grey drawered unit to the right I bought for a fiver at Asda! How fab?! It has my cuttlebug on top as each drawer holds differnt things for it ie cutting plates, nesties, mariannes, embossing plates etc, just great for £5! That white wicker box is my scraps box (full as usual!)

The creative cottage fabulous florals challenge

Hello everyone, hope we are all well! Today sees another challenge over at the creative cottage challenge blog and it's gotta be a favourite of mine as this fortnight we are challenging you to use your fabulous florals! Yep break out those flowers on your projects!
I have chosen to make my card this time using the fantastic freebie mini kit that you can grab now and for the rest of the month at the creative cottage blog and aren't the colours just stunning?!
I have used this great Kenny K digi too, I loved colouring her and she is so sassy! I have used the elegant shaped card from craftwork cards and have followed the sketch this wk over at friday sketchers.

My heart framed die cut circle is from Hobbyhabitat and my heart punched border is xcut. My sentiment is crafty sentiments and my flowers are wild orchids. I have distressed my edges in worn lipstick distress ink and coloured my fabulous download diva with Prisma pencils.

It's the OSAAT birtthday bash and some candy!!!

Hi everyone! Today is the day! It's the OSAAT birthday bash! OSAAT is 1 yr old and we have been so pleased with everyones fabulous support over that year that we are having a great big paaartaayyy!!! There are an absolute stack of prizes from lote of sponsors including the chance to win some copics!!
I have made a card this wk using an image by her Stitchyness available at the stitchy bear store called the key, isn't she fabulous! Our theme is to pretty up your card so flowers, lace etc.

I have followed the sktch this wk over at midnight madness and have used freebie digi papers from far far hill again. I have some elements from one of our fabby sponsors too Hobbyhabitat. My gorgeous die cut butterflie and my ornate die cut corners are both available at hobbyhabitat. My corners I painted with blonde moments paint and then poured on the glitter! My ribbon is fro stash and my bling cord was given to me by a friend, I also used a little of this cut off for the butterflies body. My fabulous flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts.

My beautiful image has been coloured with prisma pencils. I also wanted to enter this into City crafters all that glitters challenge, fab and funkys texture and stampin with the dragons anything goes.
Of course there is a little extra on here for the birthday bash! I have some comment candy to give away! It's fairly baby orientated! There is a pack of papermania venetian skies paper, a set of polymer boy stamps and baby sentiment stamps, 4 baby clip embellishments, 2 baby metal plaques, 2 sets of mini door hanger embellishments, a baby metal word embelly with gems, a reel of vehicle ribbon and a woodbacked rubber baby hand stamp.

A taste of spring just for fun

Hi everybody! Todays card is just for fun and to add a bit of spring in what is a pretty wet and dreary North Uk at the mo!
I have followed the sketch this wk over at Pixie cottage and also used the optional extra of ribbon. My image is one of the adorable bunch from Bonna (Kellys kids) over at the Stitchy bear store, what a sweetie!

I am determined to get through my everlasting bag of scraps too so these papers are scraps of nitwits left over from a previous project! I have punched my branches with xcut and added my little roses from wild orchids. My ribbon is from stash and my sentiment is waltzingmouse.

I am also entering this into Pear tree designs free for all, Craft your passions anything goes, Delightfuls get punchy, alphabet challenge O is for orange and digi doodle shops best nature.

It's crafty sentiments challenge time again

Howdy doody everyone! Thursday means another challenge over at the crafty sentiments challenge blog and this wk we are going with Valentines.
I have this uber cute digi currently available at the store which I have used on my card and have bucked the trend with the traditional colours on my love themed card and gone for a combo of blues and greens using papermania rose garden paper.

I have coloured my image with Prismas and edged everything in Tim Holtz forest moss. My heart has been cut with Nellie snellen and embossed with indentz. My ribbons, pearls and paper clip are all from stash and my sentiment stamp is SU.
