Happy saturday folks! I can seem bright and cheery as I am writing this on friday, in reality I went out with friends last night and am at the early shift at work today so I am probably suffering massively from lack of sleep and too much alcohol shhhh!
On to our fab new challenge today at a gem of a challenge and wow is it a good one! We have this stunning photo for inspiration and what yummy prettiness it is!
This just screams Parisienne shabby chic to me! I have followed the sketch over at sweet sketch wednesday for my card and have used this super sweet Chloe from Pink Gem designs. I have also used papers from the Tim Holtz shabby chic collection of course!
I have used lace, ribbon and pearls from stash. My flowers are wild orchids and my simply stunning butterfly is from Prima.
My darling image has been coloured with prisma pencils and has been edged in worn lipstick ink. I have stitched all the edges with my machine. I have only stuck the image to the ribbon and lace and not to the backing DP so it lifts slightly for dimension.
I would also like to enter this into Bearly mine flowers challenge, My time to craft in full bloom, Party time tues anything goes, Top tip tues shabby chic, Simon says stamp anything goes, Flutterby wednesday celebrate, Fashionable stamping challenges ribbon or lace, Craft us crazy fave embellies (duh flowers!), fairytale challenges flowers & Lace and just tracys crafts things with wings.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog I hope you can join us in this fab challenge and please do check out the wonderful creations by my other teamies.
