A gem of a challenge Christines sketch

Hello my blogging pals, I hope you all enjoyed the royal wedding yesterday, what a beautiful couple they made!
It's time for another challenge though, over at a gem of a challenge and this time we have a fabulous sketch byt the oh so fabulous Christine so do pop across to check it out!
I have used this fab little printable decoupage kit from Pink gem designs with some lovely Pink gem digi papers to make this sweet baby card.

The printable decoupage kit comes with all the layers ready to cut and this super cute sentiment too, just perfect for when you don't have so much ime to colour and rest assured my time has been limited this last wk!
I have used a doily from poppys cabin and lace and ribbon from stash. My beautiful flowers are a combo of wild orchids and mulberry crafts in pinks, whites and mint greens. My second picture shows the dimension better.

I also want to enter this into Top tip tues square challenge (my card shape), Simon says stamp anything goes, Pennys paper crafty welcome home, Mawtt anything goes, Do you stack up make it pop (3d) and Digi doodle shops best anything goes.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog! I am desperate to get back into more crafting next wk! Hugs to you all

A magnolia baby card

Hello folks, hope you had lovely easters! Despite my upbeat posts I am still trying to shake off this nasty cold! I haven't been able to beathe properly for days and I am just plain exhausted! Hence I am not about blogging so much especially having the kids off school and have even had to miss out on a couple of DT projects this wk too so apologies if I don't make it around your blogs this wk!
I do have this card that my mum requested though, a baby girl card for a friend who called her daughter Angel (how perfect!)

I have followed the sketch over at Just magnolia for this card and have used this adorable baby Tilda image that my lovely friend Dawn was so kind to send me as every time I looked for this super cute baby she was out of stock!
I have used the fabulous Tim Holtz shabby chic papers for this card with some yummy stickles in candy and stardust and a beautiful sentiment from pink gem designs.

My gorgeous baby Tilda has been coloured with Prisma pencils and has been inked around the edges with Worn lipstick Distress ink. My stunning ribbon is from stash along with my pearls. My flowers are mulberry crafts, my lace prima and my butterfly from e crafts.

I also want to enter this into ABCs S is for sparkle, Crafts and me pink and sweet, Frosted designs butterflies and Delicious doodles anything goes challenge.

SFTW Royal wedding challemge

Woop Woop it's friday and good friday at that, not too long to wait for the Easter bunny! However, over at Stampin for the weekend we are going all regal and celebrating the up and coming royal wedding in a weeks time and having a wedding challenge which means you can make a wedding or a wedding anniversary card.

I have used my favourite couple from Tiddlyinks, there are very few wedding images around that I like but this couple I adore, is it because they remind me of my fave Twilight couple Edward and Bella? (quite possiblly!!)
I have gone for a vintage feel to my card which I love on wedding cards. My papers are freebie digis from far far hill with large heart shaped doily from poppys cabin. My ribbon and pearls are from stash and I have stitched most of my elements including my image. My butterflies have been punched with MS and I have used tiny pearls to the bodies. My flowers are mulberry crafts and have been distressed with vintage photo as have all my paper edges. My sentiment is waltzingmouse.

My image has been coloured with Prisma pencils as per the norm. I have made my own charm with a chipboard heart painted with crackle paint and then used a brass eyelet and twine to tie it.

I would like to enter this into Crafty cardmakers wedding card challenge, Tiddlyinks stitching, Spoonfull of sugars lets celebrate, Digi Tues pretty punches, Ladybug crafts ink anything goes, Flutterby wednesdays anything goes, Fab and funky here comes the bride, Secret crafters stitching, 2 sisters bingo (flowers, pearls and ribbon) and Paper sundaes texture challenge.
I hope you can join in our bi weekly challenge, don't forget to check out the other superb DT examples from my teamies!
Thanks for coming by here again my friends and hugs to all

Crafty sentiments happy Easter

Hello peeps! Today sees another challenge over at crafty sentiments which is nice and easy given the time of year and all the other complimenting challenges out there and that is EASTER!
To be honest I'm not sure what I was trying to acheive with my card here! There are elements I like but it is a bit mish mash of colour with lots of different bits and bobs being combined here.

I have used this cute Lilly digi from crafty sentiments combined with easter digi papers from the creative cottage. I have used the elegant shaped cardstock from craftwork cards, doily from poppys cabin, flourish cut with Marianne Ds, Sentiment from my hanglar set, ribbon, brads and pearls from stash and flowers from mulberry crafts. My hinges are cut with nesties fancy tags.

My little image has been coloured with prisma pencils and then I have used a stampin up flourish stamp around the image edge. Everything has been distressed with worn lipstick ala Mr T.

WOYWW with an easter hanglar pouch

Hi Folks its another whats on your work desk wednesday where we pop across to Julias stampin ground to mooch around everyones desks and see what they are up to!
Not a great deal going on at my desk but the start of an easter project here.

I have actually got the finished result this time too! This ties in great with the current challenge over at creative card crew which is recycling. It's not my DT teams turn and this wasn't in on time so isn't on the challenge blog but it's worth a mention anyway!
Here is an easter pouch with some choc buttons for my nephew for easter made out of a coffee pouch.

I have used this cute mini hanglar image for this a perfect size for the pouch! He has been coloured with prisma pencils and the paper used on the pouch is papermania sweet shoppe, the sentiment is also hanglar.
My nephew is autistic so he doesn't really go for easter eggs but he does like chocolate buttons!

Here is the back view of the pouch. I have used lace from bunny zoes with ribbon from stash and a large eyelet from my crop a dile range. The pearls are also from stash.

Here is the original pouch used (sorry gratuitous Starbucks advertising!) along with the 2 pouches made for my nephews, the other Andy with gingerbread one was a recent DT project for Pink Gem designs.

I also want to enter this into Lexis creations anything but a card, Creative stamp friends easter package, Try it on a tuesdays recycling, Top tip tuesdays open challenge, Delightfuls easter, Digi doodle shops best stripes, Crazy 4 challenges easter gifts, Sweet stampins chocolate, one stop crafts altered, Our creative corner 3d easter no cards, Dream valleys easter and sugar sweet paper treats easter challenge.

Just magnolia with sweet stop

Well good morning my blogging pals! Goodness I feel dreadful this morn! I have a rotten cold giving me massive bodyaches, coupled with my delightful hayfever its all just wonderful lol! Thank goodness the kids don't break up from school until tomorrow I don't think my head could quite take the noise of 3 little ones right now!
I do have a card today, although I think that my crafting is going to be sparse soon as I have my mum up to stay, my husband off work and the kids off school!
I have followed the sketch over at the sweet stop and also followed the happy birthday theme at Just magnolia and hanglar.

My lovely papers are digi download at Pink gem designs along with a pretty heart doily from poppys cabin. My lace is an e bay purchase and my sentiment ticket is whimsy. My flowers are mulberry crafts and my pretty butterfly is from e crafts.

Does Tilda look like she has a couple of extra black dots to her face?! I'm afraid I have a dodgy stamp and need to try and delete the extra rubber bits off it somehow! I have coloured Tilda in prisma pencils of course, I think I may extend my range of these again lol!

I have attached some pearls from my stash, distressed everything with peeled paint ink (from my candy win over at little snippets thanks Geraldine!!) and have machine stitched the edges of the card, layers and image.
I also want to enter this into Cupcake crafts lots of layers challenge, Stamp with fun birthday, Magnolialicious pink and green, Flutterby wednesdays soft pastels (thanks for featuring me last wk ladies!), Delicious doodles all stitched up, Card makin mamas embellish it, Stamptaculars magnolialicious, pile it ons use rubber, card cupids pastel colours, cards and things colour challenge and by the cute and girlies cute and girlie challenge.
Thanks tonnes for coming by my blog again today, I hope everyone is enjoying nice weather!

Our theme this time has been set by the lovey Janet and she wants us to use pearls and swirls (not pears lol Janet!) Here is my card.

I have used this sweet dancing Kaya stamp available at pink gem designs, isn't she cute?! My papers are the new fairytale download from nitwits yum yum! My lace is from bunny zoes with my chiffon ribbon coming from stash. My sentiment is whimsy, my pearl flourishes are also from Pink gems and my flowers are a combo of wild orchids and mulberry crafts.

My sweet image has been coloured with prisma pencils as per the norm and I have followed the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday. Another fabulous hanglar!

Hello again my friends! I have another card to share with you today featuring yet another gorgeous sweet Hanglar and Stanglar image.
I have followed the sketch this wk over at Midnight madness and have taken to the challenge set over at the lovely hanglar only challenge blog of no Patterned DP! Wow this was a hard job for me but I managed to grab some blue and yellow card stock and with a little embossing and some stamping came up with this.

The stamp I have used on the edges of the yellow is stampin up. My blue piece has been embossed with an indentz vine embossing plate. I have distressed all my edges in vintage photo and also used this to stamp the florishes.

My gorgeous ribbon is from stash and also had a bit of the Tim holtz treatment! My doily is from poppys cabin. My flourishes have been cut with Marianne Ds and my sentiment is also Hanglar. My fabulous flowers are both wild orchids and mulberry crafts.

I have coloured my image with prisma pencils as always! I am also entering this cutie into Simon says stamp and show distressing challenge, The paper variety flowers, Truly scrumptious vintage, Pixie dust use a sentiment, Whoopsidaisy vintage and stamptaculars girls and swirls challenge.
Thank you all my fab followers for popping by here today! Hugs to all of you!
