Onto my card today and I have made a birthday card using another of these super cute Hanglars which are so easy to colour!

I have followed the sketch over at the deconstructed sketch today and have used these amazing papers from the black market paper society again. Do you remember me saying I felt the need to buy them all Well, one set was out of stock but I snagged the rest lol from Craftie Charie! So expect to see them lots!

My sweet Hanglar girl has been coloured with Prismas and I have inked all my edges in vintage photo. My ticket is Tim Holtz and my sentiment stamp is pink gem designs. My chiffon ribbon and cheesecloth are from stash, my pearls are Kort & Godt and my flowers are wild orchids.

New Divas by design challenge Summer is here

Well is it really? A few days of UK sun and I am hoping that it will continue throughout the summer!
I knew all my posts last wk would be too good to be true! Actually I really should have been creating last night but after spying all my grey hairs peeking through over the weekend last night was dedicated to re dying my hair and watching Twilight eclipse during the process!
However, back to my DT duties and a new challenge over at Divas by design! We are celebrating summer by creating summer inspired projects and are sponsored by the super fab Dis Digis, whose beach background stamp I used to create my card.

I have loosely followed the sketch over at Anyone for Anya this wk, I say loosely as all the main elements of the sketch are there but I have adjusted them a bit, hope it's ok! I have used a lovely background paper from Makin memories just chillin pad and have used this stunning TGF stamp which I have been itching to use since I bought her!

My images (background and character) have been coloured with prismas. I have used pearls from Kort and godt and flowers from Wild orchids. My sentiment stamp is also TGF.

I would also like to enter this into Fairytale summer challenge, Fussy and fancy summer, Fairy fun fridays on holidays, Card makin mamas summertime, Craft your days away summertime, Paper sundaes beach, Pink elephant fun in the sun, For fun challenges sand/beach and Paperplay time summer challenge.
Please check out the other amazing creations from the superb DT (they are such a fab bunch of creative folk!) We also hope you can join in with us for the challenge over the next 2wks!

Posting on a sunday, me what is going on?!!

Hello all, yes don't fall off your seats, not only have I posted everyday since Tuesday but I have even scheduled a post for sunday! I have been bitten by the crazy crafting bug, actually I have always had it but am doing my best to go with it right now! Of course with a house full of builders and kids from tomorrow don't be expecting too much of this insanity regularly from me!
Part of this fabulous urge to create is of course stemmed from some retail therapy lol! I have this adorable new tickled pink stamp which I got from Bunny Zoes "60s Willow" isn't she just stunning?!

I have followed the sketch over at Willow sketchie for this card but turned it upside down, I seem to like inverting things! I also have these stunning new papers from black market paper company (which I bought from craftie charlie) not only do they look amazing but they feel and smell amazing too (or is it just me who is strange enough to love the smell of new paper?!) I am so overwhelmed with how much I love these double sided beauties that I really feel the need to buy all of their paperstacks right now!!

My wonderful sweet image has been coloured with prismas and stamped round the edge with an SU flora stamp in victorian velvet ink. My velvety ribbon and butterfly are both prima from the moulin rouge collection. My flowers are a mix from wild orchids and my sentiment is whimsy which says " Let us dance in the sun, wearing wild flowers in our hair" which I thought was quite apt for my image.

I would also like to enter this into My mums craft shop for a teen challenge, Paper shelter use green, DYSU wings challenge, Papercutz anything goes, stamp somethings embellished, sweet stampin fashion, 2 sisters anything goes and Tickled pink spots and stripes.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again everyone! Big hugs to you all

A gem of a challenge new sketch time!

Happy weekend everyone! I would love to say I am relaxing at home with not a builder in sight lol But alas when the builders have the weekend off I go to work! We are having a charity day today too so we are all dressed up 80s style, I'm doing the "fame" things neon leg warmers and all!
Onto todays challenge over at a gem of a challenge and we have a fabulous sketch over there today, please go and check it out! And what is this another boy card from me?! Actually my hand was forced a little as I had my nephew and my friends son both having birthdays this weekend and I lack badly in the boy card stash so I had to get cracking on some more!

I have used this lovely Andy on swing stamp for my card from Pink gem designs and have used papers from Tim Holtz Shabby chic collection. I have embossed the lower horizontal piece with a Tim Holtz embossing plate too and inked in tea dye distress ink.My metal pieces are from stash, although my small gear is Holtzy again.

I have coloured my image with prismas and stamped the edge with a stempelglede stamp. My stunning lace is prima, my ribbon and metal button are from stash. My ticket is Holtz again (a TH overload lol) and my tag is one of those off a kiddy pair of jeans, nothing like a bit of recycling! The little key charm on the tag is 7 gypsies and my sentiment in the corner is SU.

I am slowly starting to enjoy boy cards! I am actually trying to apply the same style and technique I use for girl cards but ommiting the flowers, it seems to be working so far!
I would like to enter this into totally stampalicious buttons and bows, Simon says stamp and show some embossing, Bearly mine Tag you're it, Spoonful of sugar tags, Paper pretties embossing, Cute card thurs for his eyes, Paperplay ribbon, lace and buttons, Craft us crazy anything goes, Sarah Hurley colouring, totally papercrafts one for the boys, frosted designs buttons, crafty catz no pink or blue, crafty Anns embossing and sentimental sundays for the men challenge.
Thanks for coming by my blog again folks and do check out the super creations by my other fab DT teamies!
Hugs to everyone

SFTW DT Paws for thought challenge

Hey again everyone! This is my second post today, my Poodles parlour post is further down!
Over at Stampin for the weekend this time we have the theme of Paws for thought and want you to use animals on your creations, the four legged type. Well, I'm really not the most animal orientated and never seem to use them on my images, funny really as there are some super cute images out there and the more I think about the more I realise I have loads of em lol!
Anyway bears do come into this category so I used this super cute stamp from LOTV which I just love for a get well card!

My papers are creative cottage (which are sadly no more but it doesn't stop me from loving them!) and I have used the sketch over Sweet sunday sketches for my card. My lace is from wild orchids as are most of my fab flowers. My pearls, gems and ribbon are from stash. My mini flowers have been punched with a tonic punch and glittered. My flourish is Mariannes and my sentiment is Waltzingmouse.

My sweet image has been coloured with prismas and my edges have been inked in a pale blue. I have used spiced marmalade ink on my sentiment. My Calla liilies are from Mulberry crafts.

I would also like to enter this into Die cut dreams Animals challenge, Oldie but goodie lace and ribbon, Fab and funky Animal magic, OSAAT flowers, Stamptacular Animal antics, LOTV fun and games, MAWTT cute and cuddly with a punch and IDIC animals challenge.

Over at the Poodles parlour this time we have the challenge of Red,White and Blue. This is so NOT my fave type of colour combo and I never really know where to start but it never turns out that bad!

I have used this super cute Digi from Jacquis store the Poodles digi doodles and have followed the sketch over at Digi Tues for my card. My fab papers are all digi download from Pink petticoat with my lace and ribbon coming from stash.

My image has been coloured with prismas and my edges inked in stormy sky. My red pearls are from stash and my flowers are Wild orchids. My cute sentiment ticket is pink gem designs.

Crafty sentiments New wedding release!

Hello my friends! It's a mini release and new challenge over at Crafty sentiments today and wow is this a fab release or what?! There are 2 stunning images, the bride and groom with some fab sentiments and my absolute favourite this stunning vintage postcard stamp. Our challenge this wk to coincide with the new release is of course a wedding themed project.

I have used prima papers from the sparkling spring collection and have followed the sketch over at the fairytale challenge (I've turned it upside down) My wonderfully cute Primrose bride and this totally fab vintage postcard stamp are both from the new releases at Crafty sentiments. My stunning lace and bling embellies are Prima say it in crystals and my butterfly is Prima too.

I have coloured my Image with prismas and although it isn't so easy to see here, her dress is actually a pale pink and her veil etc is cream. All of my edges and the postcard have been inked in victorian velvet and edged in vintage photo. The sentiment stamp is Waltzingmouse and my flowers are wild orchids.

I would also like to enter this into Craft your passions use text challenge, Tuesday throwdowns metal (wired butterfly), Flutterby Wednesdays open challenge, Sir stampalots anything goes and Bling it on anything goes challenge.

WOYWW

Morning all, well it has been far too long since I played over with the folks at Whats on your work desk Wednesday so here I am again!
I am mid work on my DT project for Crafty sentiments for the new release wedding blog hop Tomorrow (me late?!!!) My desk is of course a mass of mess along with a good old cup of coffee! My butterflies on the basket are a bargain shop purchase, must go back soon for more lol! The chest to the right is a work in progress!
Here is my mid DT project for tomorrow, the gorgeous butterfly is prima and the tag at the top is off some kids jeans I keep all of these clothes tags now for recycling, they are fab even if I just use the twine. The lace and pearls to the left are prima too.

Here is my work in progress. I have no idea when I will get a chance to develop it more. This is a wooden chest ready to house my beloved Twilight books when I am not abusing the life out of them with constant reading! I have primed it and sponged it black so far, the immortal love stack behind from DCWV is also for this project tucked in just behind but I have so much to do at the mo with the loft conversion that this project make take a little while!

Just in front of the chest are a bunch of fab magnolia images that the lovely Laurie has sent me for colouring (thank you!) as I love the new range and don't have any, can't wait to get started on some of those too!
Pop across to Julias stampin ground to join in with the WOYWW fun!
Hugs all
