WOYWW

Hi folks just a quick late post from me. I'm feeling a bit under the weather today so am going to grab some hot drinks and stick my feet up in the hope that I feel much better in the morning! I just wanted to quickly pop on for Whats on your workdesk wednesday, yep its a bit of a mess!.....

On my desk there is a box of floral goodies from Wild orchids, I was so lucky to win a fab prize over at papertake weekly from them which arrived today (ooo lucky me!) Also I have been working on my Twilight chest, I have completed 3 sides and have the front and top to go, I won't give any close ups yet until I have finished the whole thing! There are also some papers ready on my desk for my next DT project with Pink Gems.

This is the view under my desk whoops! I did say it was messy! All the red and black flowers, ribbons etc on the right are part of the twilight chest project so they are all surrounding me at the mo! I also keep my ribbons, lace etc in baskets under here along with my scraps box and a tonne of other stuff!
I endevour to get round and visit some desks later but thanks for coming by to check mine out! Hugs all

Creative card crew anything goes with Kenny K

Hi my blogging friends! I hope everyone had nice weekends and good bank holidays for all those in the UK. We bought carpets for the last 2 rooms of the house so we had better get racking on more decorating soon!
Today there is another challenge over at creative card crew and we are so lucky to be sponsored by the amazing Kenny K downloads (you just gotta love these!) it is also a super easy challenge of anything goes!

For my card I followed the sketch over at Willow sketchie this wk and was able to use this stunning Kenny K image "star". My papers are Echo park with my sentiment coming from TGF. My flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts and my butterfly is from e crafts. My lace, ribbon, charm, pearls and cheesecloth are all from stash.

I have coloured my superb image with prisma pencils. I am in desperate need for some more blending stumps as I don't feel I am getting acurate blending with my current old ones! I have edged my image and papers in worn lipstick ink.

A new Enerald Faerie card

Happy weekend to everyone! We had an almighty storm here last night, clearly all the rain my friends in the south have been talking about made its way to us last night! However today is a beautiful day and I'm shortly off to work again!
I have made a card for the weekend though using one of the new release Emerald Faerie stamps, how could I resist? I bought both new releases of course! Here is my card following the simple sketch this wk at Simon says stamp.

I have use Prima paper again from the Alla Prima collection along with some cheesecloth from stash. My lace running along side the image is also Prima, my flowers are mulberry crafts and Wild orchids and both my Birthday wishes and thinking of you sentiment are SU from different sets.

I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and stamped foliage with an SU stamp in picket fence around the edge. My pearls are from stash also. She is def a new fave of these cute digis for me!

My pearls, lace, ribbon, brad and starfish charm are all from stash. My die cut flourishes are Mariannes with my flowers coming from mulberry crafts and my sentiment is pink petticoat free with a magazine!

I have coloured my image with prismas and have set him back behind a little frame.

Divas by Design xmas in August

Good morning folks and happy Wednesday to you all! There is another fab bi weekly challenge starting today over at Divas by Design and this time we are going all festive with our xmas in August challenge. We are so lucky to be sponsored by the fab poodles digi doodles and Jacqui has given us some cuties to play with!

I have followed the sketch at Sunday sketch and stamp for my card and have used papermania deck the halls xmas paper along with this uber cute poodles snowman digi. My tag has been cut with a magnolia doo hickey and stamped with 7 gypsies. My snowflake is a Marianne die cut doused in glamour dust and my snowflake charm is from pink gem designs. My pearls are from stash and my flowers are wild orchids.

I have coloured my cutie snowman with prismas and then given him a healthy dose of glamour dust all over! I have edged in worn lipstick and distressed all the edges of my papers.

Crafty sentiments summer of fun preview Day 2 & a little surprise

Hi everyone!
Today is the second day of the summer of fun preview over at Crafty sentiments. I'm afraid I didn't have time to participate in preview day 1 but if you pop over to the Crafty sentiments challenge blog you will see some of the other fab creations from my teamies both today and yesterday. We will also be previewing tomorrow with a special challenge hop on Thursday!

I have used Fancy pants beach babe papers which I was lucky enough to win in the Crafty Emmas blog candy! The colours on these are fab!
I have followed the sketch over at sweet sketch wednesday for my card.

I have coloured my image with prismas and have used ribbon, cheesecloth and button from stash with sentiment from paper pretties and flowers from mulberry crafts and wild orchids.

This stamp and the others from the summer release will be available to purchase from the store on Thursday!

A new sketch at a gem of a challenge

Happy weekend to you all! Today sees another challenge over at A gem of a challenge and this time we have a super sketch from the lovely Mandy to inspire us! Many of the DT have used the new xmas releases which are now available in store! There are also some fab digi download papers to be had so get across and check them out!
Here is my card using todays sketch with a super new xmas release Chloe too!

I actually made a completely different card which didn't follow the sketch at all (duh) so I had to hastily get cracking on another lol! I have used papers from DCWV xmas multi stack. My cheesecloth and pearls are from stash. My tag is cut with a magnolia doo hickey, my flowers are wild orchids and my cute stocking charm, Ticket sentiment and fab image are all pink gem designs.

I have coloured my image with prismas and added glamour dust to her sparkly white bits for some extra bling. I have edged in worn lipstick and have stitched all the edges of my papers and image.

SFTW Holidays/beach theme

Happy friday folks! Today sees another challenge over at Stampin for the weekend where our theme is holidays/beach. We are sponsored this time by the completely fabulous Pink gem designs and therefore I just had to make my card using this uber cute Beach Milly stamp available at Pink Gems!

My yummylicious paper is makin memories just chillin pad along with some fab cheesecloth, satin ribbon and seaside charms from stash. My pearls are kort & Godt and my flowers are wild orchids. My sentiment is also another one from Pink gem designs.

My Fab Milly image was coloured with prismas and I have edged in Antique linen. I love these colours for a bright summer card!

I have followed the sketch over at Stamp with fun and am also entering this into Shabby tea rooms polka dots challenge, Stampavie and more card for a girl, My mums craft shop summertime, one stop crafts at the beach and cupcake cards and crafts soft and sweet challenge.
I also wanted to say goodbye to the DT at The poodles parlour. I have stepped down as I just do not have the time for all my DT work at the moment and have had to reasses my commitments. The team and the images are fabulous and I have loved working with them in the short time I was there, thanks Jacqui and ladies for the opportunity!

Bedroom numero 2 finished

Another room finished yay! This is the first of the girls rooms finished, now both the girls are in here whilst the other room gets done. Here is Amelia on her 4 poster bed!
Here I am stood by the window taking into the top corner of the room. The rocking chair was my 18th birthday pressie from my mum and has made its way into most rooms of the house at some point!
Here I am stood by the rocking chair taking into the other side of the room, where Amelias pink desk is. Most things are pretty pink in here!
The next bedroom will take a bit more time as it's bigger and hubby is back at work now so not as much time!

Crafty sentiments no sentiment challenge

Hello my blogging friends! Is it really Thursday already? The weekend always seems to creep around really fast when I have to work it! We have actually finished another bedroom too yay! I will post a photo later of girlie bedroom number 1!
Today there is another challenge over at crafty sentiments and this time we don't want to see any sentiments!

I have followed the sketch this wk over at 2 sisters for my card, another xmas one (I really need to build up a supply this is only my 6th!) I have used papers from Crate paper snowy day collection along with a basic grey paper clip, lace from bunny zoes, ribbon and gems from stash, charm from Pink gem designs, flowers from wild orchids and mulberry crafts and this wonderful winter Amy stamp from Crafty sentiments.

I have coloured my image with prismas and inked the edges in worn lipstick. I love these funky colours for a xmas card!
I also want to enter my card into Paper playtime anything goes challenge, Papertake weekly bingo (blooms, ribbons and gems), Try it on a tues anything goes, The paper variety add threads, Truly scrumptious lace it up and Whoopsidaisy anything goes challenge.
