Saturated Canary Pretty Pastels

Hi everyone!
I'm sorry it's been a while since I have posted. I have picked up some extra hours at work and so I have been working for the last 6 out of 7 days (so much for being part time!) but with impending kiddies birthdays and new high school uniform to buy all the pennies are needed!
We have a brand new challenge starting today over at Saturated Canary and it's gonna be a fabulous one as we want you to use pretty pastels this time and here is what I did...
I have used papers from Papermania and Teresa Collins. My heart border along the top is Memory box and my tabs on the side have been cut with nesties fancy tags. My butterfly is little snippets and my flowers are WOC and Mulberry crafts and I have added cheesecloth under my layers.
I have coloured this wonderful Honey image which is available as digi from Saturated Canary or rubba here. I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have used a stempelglede flourish stamp around the edge of the image in dusty concord DI. I have also machine stitched all my edges.
Do check out what the rest of the team have made for this fabulous challenge!
I would like to enter this into..

Divas by Design babies and toddlers

I know. I know it's Thursday and the Divas by Design challenge started yesterday but I figured that as I had my midweek magnolias post already on for the wednesday this one could sneak up a day late, well the boss can't tell me off now can she, cos thats me lol!
So here I am for Divas by Design who are proud to be sponsored by the brilliant Bunny Zoes this week and we have a challenge theme of Babies and Toddlers so we want to see your creations featuring those or for those. I had another commissioned baby card for this one...
Yes it's the same image and layout as the previous baby card I made last week but this is what was requested, though I gave this one a hint of green with the pink. My papers are first edition, my butterflies little snippets, lace and flowers wild orchids and pearls from the hobby house.
It's saturated Canary butterfly baby again coloured in prisma pencils. It doesn't surprise me that this darling is so popular. I have also stamped around the edges with an SU flourish stamp in victorian velvet DI.

Midweek Magnolias - Roses

Morning everyone!
I hope you all had good weekends and a fab beginning to your week (now that we are already half way through!)
Well, Caleb had his Tea Kwon do grading on Saturday, he has only been going a few weeks and it was super cute to watch! He did one of the best push ups for a 5 year old that anyone had seen aww! Anyway he moved up to his intermediate white/yellow belt (yay)
Than I decided to take on the mammoth job of sorting out my craft area (why?!) I knew it wouldn't be a small job, but seriously I am just creating mess all over the lounge right now!!
I promise if I ever get it sorted it will take photos to prove it"
Well, it's challenge time again at Midweek Magnolias. Thanks to all those of you who joined in with our birthday hop and my first DT assignment it was a huge success!
Our challenge this time is "Everythings coming up roses" so we want to see roses on your creations along with a Magnolia stamp of course! Here is my card...
I'm afraid I have to apologise for my card today I wasn't really feeling it in amongst all my crafty mess!
I have used First edition hideaway papers along with butterflies from little snippets, sentiment from LOTV and flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts,
This is one of my fave Tildas. I do have some of the new Magnolia Easter collection which I have just bought especially for this years Easter cards but this one I just love and had to use her again! I have coloured her with prisma pencils and edged with a stempelglede stamp in spiced marmalade DI.
Do check out the rest of the stunning creations from the team this week!
And what about that Candy and card from last week?
Well I popped my comments into Mr random and he picked out my winner as......
Please can you e mail me at rebekahlanewilliams@ymail.com with your postal address so I can send your goodies out to you!
I have also noticed I have hit 999 followers (whoop whoop just 1 short of 1000) of course this is soon to be pointless as Google reader is going and taking all my lovely followers with it but I'm sure we will find  a way around it and until then I want to celebrate all you lovely folks sharing in my crafty venture so I will be generating a candy to celebrate really soon!
Thanks for coming by again!

Use lace at SFTW

Hi everyone!
We are happy bunnies here as our daughter got into her chosen high school yesterday. It wasn't really that much in doubt but it is nice to have it in writing! That means that I will have both my girls in high school by September (what a scary thought)
Also ,yesterday, a new challenge started at Stampin for the weekend. We are so lucky to be sponsored by the incredibly Talented Rick St Dennis, who gave the DT some superb images to play with!
Our challenge is to use lace (and of course stamping) somewhere on your creations, and we have a new look blog too, check it out!
I love these gorgeous MME papers such stunning colours! My lace and ribbon were from my stash, my bling is prima, my butterfly little snippets and my flowers are from Mulberry crafts.
This is one of Rick's gorgeous images "Rikki". I love how Rick has much more "grown up" images as opposed to the cutesy style, great for the more discerning lady!
I have coloured her with my prisma pencils.
Do check out the stunners from the rest of the team!

Black with 2 new challenge!!!

It's the first of the month again which means a new challenge over at Black with 2!!!
Here is the stunning colour combo for you to use this time..
What a stunning and striking colour combination for you to use on your cards and LOs and here is my creation for this month.
I have used some basic grey papers along with DCWV Immortal love stack (the stunning Twilight inspired paper collection), bling swirl from Prima, butterfly from Kays Kreative korner, metal sentiment frame from Tim Holtz and flowers from WOC.
I have used this gorgeous Dilly Beans image and coloured her with prisma pencils. The birthday card was for a lady who drives a truck for a living so I didn't want to go all pastel and girlie for her but still wanted something feminine and glam, I hope I achieved this!
We would just love it if you joined us this month. We are just getting started with the card challenge and would love some more entries. Using black is not as big a challenge as you might think and creates a striking element to your card!
Do check out what the rest of the team have created in LOs and cards.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again everyone!
I want to enter this into..
Kaboodle doodles bling, Creative card crew birthdays, Ladybug crafts Ink use a number, Flutterby wednesday 3 or more layers and Whimsy add some metal.
