Stampin for the weekend feeling festive

Hello everyone. Well today I am going to show you lots of the goodies I have been making for the craft fair!
The new challenge over at Stampin for the weekend is FEELING FESTIVE which just gives me the freedom to show you all my festive goodies!
Here are my reindeer food pouches! I have made the tags with kraft card stock and a computer printed poem. I have added a little festive jingly bell and have stamped this LOTV vintage xmas postage across my tag in distress ink.
Here are my hot chocolate cones. each cone contains chocolate drink mix, chocolate chips and marshmallows, enough to make 3 drinks. I have used a computer generated tag and then layered over a digi image of a cocoa mug.
This is santa cookie mix (I love these) It is a dry layered mix which you just have to add egg, butter and vanilla to, to roll into balls and make cookies to put out for santa on xmas eve. I found the cute printables for the top as a free download from HERE. I then generated my own cooking instructions on the computer and tied them to the front of each jar.
And here are my sweet chilli sauce jars. They are based on the same design as my xmas chutney jars I showed a while back. I have used napkins for the tops, mini chalkboard stickers for the labels and have ted on a tag stamped with a waltzingmouse stamp and added a mariannes snowflake die cut.
I do have some other bits to sell at the craft fair but these are just a few examples of what I have been making!
I do hope you are feeling festive to join us in our challenge at Stampin for the weeekend.
Please check out the stunning creations from the rest of the team.
Thanks for coming by my blog.
Big hugs

Saturated Canary - Distress

Lol I had to laugh at the theme for the new challenge over at Saturated Canary this time. We all know what distress means but it's something that I feel our house has been in a lot of over the last couple of weeks!!! Yes distressing indeed!!
Anyway, no more of that now it's all forward to xmas!!!! So here is my distressing card..
Well as a complete turnaround from xmas I have made a christening card! A family member recently had a christening of their baby boy, which unfortunately we could not attend so we sent off this card for them.
Even though this is really a xmas digi I think it worked just fine for a christening card!
I used Tim holtz shabby chic papers along with flowers and lace from WOC, butterfly from Kays, large star stamp from SU and little letters from adornits. I of course used a tonne of crackle paint and distress ink for my distressed look.
I have coloured my SC image with prisma pencils, then added some stormy sky distress ink and shabby blue frantage around the edge.
Do check out the stunners from the rest of the team this time.
Thanks for coming by my blog and I do hope you can join us!
Big hugs

Midweek Magnolias - Anything but a card

Hi friends!
I'm really sorry I've been so absent of late, there really has been lots going on here to occupy my attentions.
The great new is that my eldest is in a new school now away from her previous troubles so we are really pleased about that and have now had a few of our stresses eased!
I'm still up to my eyes in producing goods for this craft fair at the end of the week, so once that is over I will be able to heave  sigh of relief too! If I was going to the craft fair s a card maker/ paper crafter it would be just fine as I have plenty of goods available to sell! But I am there as an edible goods seller, so I will show you some pictures soon of all the goodies I have been making to take with me!
Anyway, it's challenge time again at Midweek Magnolias. I missed the last challenge due to all the school stresses so my apologies and thanks to my fabulous teamies for being so supportive.
Our challenge this time is
ANYTHING BUT A CARD
So I chose to make a little gift bag..
This is perfect for a small gift (I know just what is going in here) the bag is just 4 and 1/2 inches high. I have used freebie kaisercraft papers from a xmas issue of simple cards and papercraft last year. Along with some flowers from WOC, butterfly from Kays and wooden embellishment from my stash. My snowflake border is Tim holtz and my sentiment LOTV.
I adore this Tilda she can be used all year round but I like her for xmas! I have coloured her with prisma pencils of course.
Here is a side view of the bag. I have used similar papers to the back but kept the sides plain.
Do check out the stunning creations from the rest of the team this time and we would love to have you join us for a chance at an awesome prize from Magnolia!
Thanks for coming by my blog!

Saturated Canary sketch time

Hello again everyone! I hope you are all well, I know a good few of you are pretty sick right now, hope the bugs go away! It's challenge time again over at Saturated Canary challenge and this time we have a fab sketch (do check it out at the challenge blog) I promise I have followed the sketch but as always have added LOTS of other bits too!!! Here is my pretty xmas card....
I have used wonderful Sugarplum papers from Black Market Paper Society along with a tonne of flowers from WOC, Prima and LLC. My pretty butterfly is Kays and my sentiment Waltzing mouse.
My beautiful Saturated Canary image Tidy up has been coloured with Prisma pencils and I have edged with a stempelglede stamp in dusty concord ink. She isn't a traditional xmas image but I think she suits it just fine, after all these aren't traditional xmas colours!
Do check out the rest of the teams creations with the fab sketch and we also hope you can join us this time.
I'm again sorry for my lack of posts. Things are stressed here with my eldest's schooling and bullying issues. She is now missing school due to all this and we are hoping a place will become available in a new school for her soon. I'm sure once that weight has been lifted from me my creating and blogging will happen more often :(
Thanks for coming by my blog everyone
Big hugs

Crafts too vintage Christmas - Monochromatic

Hi everyone, Sorry I'm a bit late with my post today! I worked all day yesterday and then when I got in I needed to decorate the house for halloween, decorate the kids lol and make tea, then we went out trick or treating for about 2 hours, bathed the kids to remove all the face paints and put everyone to bed, by which time I was shattered and forgot to write this post last night!
Then this morning I've been trying to sort out the halloween aftermath!
And just a few photos of our efforts...
Amelia - zombie cheerleader
Caleb - pumpkin monster
Hiolette - zombie school girl
But now on to the pretty and less scary stuff! It's a new monthly challenge over at Crafts too challenge you and we have a monthly challenge of Vintage Christmas and our twist for the first 2 weeks is Monochromatic, here is my make..
This is not my regular type of thing at all but I like it all the same! I used Nellies Vintage xmas images from crafts too and added some shabby white frantage around the outside. My Papers were Teresa Collins, I used flowers from WOC, a Mariannes snowflake die, a recycled tag, stunning butterfly from Kays kreative korner and this adorable hanging stocking border die from crafts too. Everything else is from my stash.
I went all shades of brown for my monochrome theme and used vintage photo distress ink and picket fence crackle paint for added vintageness!
Thanks for coming by my blog everyone, I hope you can join us for the challenge.
Big hugs
