I have followed the sketch over on sketch saturday and have used the recipe over on crafty angels which is to use 1 ribbon, 2 papers and 3 flowers (ok I cheated on the 3 flowers and put in a few more but how could I stop at just 3!!) But more excitedly this is my card for the first cowgirlup sunday challenge which is to make a spring or mothers day card (I have made spring as our mothers day is past in the UK)

I just love CJ's stamps so was v excited to know there was a new challenge blog dedicated to them! I have used cowgirlup garden farie for this card with papers fom nitwits and cardstock from SU. Flowers are wild orchid crafts as is lace ribbon. Butterflies punched with Xcut and purple gems from stash. Farie coloured with prismas and some sparkly stickles!

A Late card :(

Well I have had a busy day (see post below!) so I am putting up this card that I made last wk. I had orginally made it for last wks crafty sentiments challenge following the sketch over there but alas due to my poorly PC was not able to upload or blog it but my new Amy stamp is so cute I just had to put it up anyway! I have looked through some of my fave challenges to see if she will fit into any of them this wk and hooray as over at stamp something this wk the theme is charms and I have a little butterfly charm on this card!

This cute little Amy stamp can be purchased over at the crafty sentiments store with some other cuties! The papers I have used are from pink petticoat and the main floral one is from the New baby ellie kit at the creative cottage which you can purchase here and visit the blog here I have used flowers from both mulberry crafts and wild orchid crafts, charm is from the hobby house and sentiment stamp is pink gem designs.

Thanks for coming by to look as always and for leaving your lovely comments and baring with me in all this PC disaster! Hugs to all xx

Happy birthday Caleb

Hiya everyone, yep my darling son was 3 today and haven't we had a busy and noisy day! All toys have some sort of loud space type noise ejecting from them apart from the lego but Caleb adds his own noise for that! Anyway I did make his cake, it isn't really up to my usual standards but I had to knock it together in less than 2 hours and he loved it so I guess that was the point!

And another view of Buzz lightyears ship and little green men (one of whom lost his head shortly after breakfast this morn when I dared to go to the toilet and leave Caleb to his own devices!

Calebs favourite toys of the day seemed to be his transformers (they have gone to bed with him ouch!) You would never believe he turned 3, all his toys are age 5 and up, I thought he would be still into bob the builder and cbeebies but it is sadly ben 10, Star wars and transformers now!

This is him ready to blow out his candles (the first time he blew them out mid song and got very upset that he hadnt got the timing right!) we blew them out prob 10-15 times after this!

And at last eating the cake, the best bit of course!

Thanks for letting me share! Hugs to all xx
