Crafty sentiments spring pastels DT card

Hey folks! I hope you all had a nice Easter! We had to have our egg hunt in the house as it was just too damp outside, we have only ever had to do this once before because the weather is normally fine!

It did put a bit of a halt to our regular Easter afternoon walk but we still had plenty of fun.

Today sees another challenge over at Crafty sentiments and today is the day the new stamps are released over in the Crafty sentiments store!

Our theme today is Spring pastel colours and all of the team are using at least one of the new stamps and I have chosen to use the beautiful Annabel Pregnant.

I have even been really good and used up my last 2 sheets of my papermania rose garden paper, I actually love that pad and would love t buy it again but NO I shall continue my stash diet (painfully!)

The ribbon, cheesecloth and pearls are from stash. The flowers are WOC, Mulberry Crafts and a local store. My pretty butterfly is little snippets and the sentiment alphas were also from the papermania pad.

My wonderful image has been coloured with Prisma pencils and I have used a stempelglede stamp in the corners using Worn lipstick DI.

Kenny K Diamonds DT card

Happy Easter everyone!!!!! I hope you are all full of chocolate and that the Easter bunny left some nice things for you! 

Well we have another fantastic challenge for you over at Kenny Ks Krafty Girlz again and this time the theme is diamonds! I sort of extended that to a gem/bling theme as even though there are clear gems on my butterfly I went for the more Bluey gems as opposed to clear but I definitely blinged up my card!

For this card I have used MME Fine and dandy paper with some bling from Prima, fab sparkly butterfly from prima, flowers from WOC and Kort & Godt and sentiment from SU.

My image is the fab boogie down from kenny K. I have noticed some folks just using part of a digi image like I have done here and I think it can be really effective, so easy to adapt digi images! I have coloured her with prisma pencils and lightly distressed the edges of my papers and image.

SFTW DT card Ready Teddy Go

Morning folks, well I don't know about you but I'm fully confused with this British weather! It was beautiful yesterday after the previous freezing day and now it's back to dull and gloomy!

Ah well I guess thats the fun of living in the UK with our unpredictable seasons!

Over at Stampin for the weekend we have a new challenge for you and this time it is Ready TEDDY Go, we want to see some bears on your creations!

I have edged in stormy sky and antique photo distress inks. My Metal frame has been painted with crackle paint as has the edge of my scroll die cut.

Creative Inspirations Easter DT card

Happy morning to you all! What happened to our lovely weather then?! It's mighty cold here in the UK after our mini heat wave, guess thats the UK weather for you!

It's challenge time again over at Creative Inspirations and we have that fab challenge of Easter this wk sponsored by the wonderful Handy Hippo.

The card I have made started off as last wks Divas by design card but never made it to the challenge blog as it never got past the coloured image stage! I loved the cute image and the fab coordinating papers though so had to continue with it!..

Puppy update!!! Our puppy will be called Nikita and now she is just over 3 wks old. Our lovely breeder has sent us an updated photo of her so watch out cuteness alert!!!

Can you believe she is this big and fluffy at just 3wks! I used to breed Cavalier King Charles spaniels so this is a BIG change for me! The kids can't wait to get her home but we still have to wait!

Crafty Sentiments Bunnies challenge

Hey folks! I've been a terrible blogger again haven't I? Things have been a bit crazy at home so I haven't been able to dedicate my time to crafting or blogging so my apologies but I am making more of an effort I promise!

There is another challenge this wk over at Crafty Sentiments! My apologies to the ladies over there I haven't joined in with the DT for a while but I am there this wk! There is also a new release of stamps coming soon so watch out for some new release showcases this wk!

I have used papers from my last new paper pad which was Echo Park This & That. I have been on my stash diet since and I even sorted through my scraps the other day and found some amazing scraps so I am determined to use more of those!

I have used a doily from poppyscabin pearl flourish from Sarah's, Flower from Prima, butterfly from little snippets, sentiment from Hanglar and gems from stash.

My adorable Bunny image on their tandem ride is from Crafty Sentiments and has been coloured with Prisma pencils. I have inked all my edges with antique photo distress ink and mounted everything in karft card stock.
