A papertake sketch with optional extras!

Hello to everyone again, I hope we are all keeping well today! My card today follows the sketch over at papertake weekly which also has an optional colour theme of Lemon and Lilac which I have happily followed, loving that colour combo! I have used this adorable Chloe stamp which is from Pink Gem designs of course! There is 10% off the store throughout the month of June and some gorgeous new releases to be had which makes everything even better!



I have used pink petticoat papers with flowers from wild orchid crafts and butterfly punched with xcut, pearls and lace from stash and my sentiment stamp is from an absolutely gorgeous set that I won from Waltzingmouse stamps, their stamps are gorgeous! Chloe is coloured in with Prismas and a little stickles added to the flowers for extra sparkle!



I am putting this into spoonful of sugars challenge of floral delights, Crafty angels challenge of using your favourite stamp (all the chloes are my faves!) and sentimental sundays challenge of new or old stash, My stamps are new, both image and sentiment! Crafty sents wedding card

I'm afraid I'm back again with my 2nd offering of the day, I have created a wedding card using this adorable crafty sentiments stamp that I won a couple of weeks ago. I have followed the sketch over on the crafty sentiments challenge blog this wk. The challenge has changed now so that you must include a crafty sentiments stamp within your work, I'm lucky enough to have 4 crafty sentiments stamps now so thats not a problem for me! I am also putting this into the by the cute & girlie theme of something old, new, borrowed and blue also stamptaculars challenge of I do,I do, I do and simon says stamps recipe of 1 image, 2 DP and 3 types of embellishment.



My gorgeous image is Bride Amy from crafty sentiments. My DP is from my stash, I bought it in the bargain bin at a paper shop, the smaller piece is flocked with a velvet style damask (so nice to touch) My flowers are wild orchid crafts, ribbon and pin from stash. My somehting old is the lace and pearls which came off a good luck charm from my own wedding, something new is my lovely new stamp, something borrowed is the sketch from crafty sents and the pleating lace technique from Just magnolia as mentioned in the previous post (told you I liked it!) and the blue element is small but obvious.



I have coloured my image with prismas and distress inks in antique linen and vintage photo and have used sparkles on the dress, veil, around the image and the flowers. Thanks lots for coming by and visiting me today! Hugs to everybody Rebekah x

Going Pink for cancer awareness

Hello Wednesday! Yep it means another challenge over at the creative cottage challenge blog today and it's my choice this wk! I have chosen the nice and easy theme of Pink for cancer awareness as this sunday I am running the race for life in Chester. I am fortunate enough to know family and friends who have been survivors of cancer and choose to run both for them and for those who have been lost. If anyone feels generous enough to sponsor me, even just 50p you can do so at my sponsorship page here!



My card today has been made using the sunny days paper kit from the creative cottage daisy chain farm collection which can be purchased here, these papers are really so lovely and easy to work with! I have also used this adorable Tilda image from the fairytale collection and a sentiment from CC designs swiss pixie spring collection. My flowers are wild ochid crafts with foliage ala mcgill branch punch (which broke!), pearls and lace from stash.



I used the pleating lace technique shown over on Just magnolia this wk so am entering this card into their Lace borders challenge (I'm loving this technique!) I also followed the sketch this wk over at sketch saturday and am also putting this into the magnolia down under challenge to use polka dots. I'm also popping this into the crazy 4 challenges theme this wk of using pleats on your card (either paper or ribbon in this case lace!)

Gem of a challenge DT card

HI everybody! Yep today sees the new challenge over at a gem of a challenge which for me means my first guest DT card for the challenge blog! The challenge is to use buttons and ribbons on your card. I hope she matches up to the other fabulous DT cards, go check them out! I was lucky enough to make my card with this fabulous fairytale Chloe, who looks just like Snow white (hence my colour choices!) she will be available to buy in the Pink gem store from tomorrow as a polymer stamp, there are other new releases too and they are to die for!



I have used papers from pink petticoat, ribbon, buttons and eyelets from stash, flowers and pearls from wild orchid crafts. Chloe is coloured with Prismas and has a little sparkles to her collar! I am also popping this on to whoopsidaisys challenge of ribbons and bows.

OSAAT DT call

Hi everybody! It's monday yay! I hope we have all had fabulous weekends. Today I have made a card for a few challenges following the sketch over at Totally Gorjuss this wk but most importantly one stitch at a time are having a DT call and this is the gorgeous cutee stitchy sent me to make my DT application card with her name is sparkles and you can buy her here, she is just fabulous! We all know how crazy I am about stitchy's stamps (I must have half the store lol!) so wish me luck on that one! I am also putting this in for Cupcake crafts challenge of dazzle us, seriously, with the amount of sparkles on this card get it in the right light and you could be blinded lol! This also fits into pollycrafts challenge this wk of ribbon and bling.



I have used lovely papers from pink petticoat, I have ripped some and sparkled the edge but you can't see the effect all that well! My ribbons are from stash as is my rainbow charm, my sentiment is downloadable from sassy studio designs and my flowers are wild orchid crafts.

A very hot friday!

Hi everyone, I hope you are enjoying this gorgeous weather (those that are in the same country as moi!) It's been a scorcher today but I managed to get a little card making done this morning before going out with the family! I had to make a card for my cousin who has just moved into her first flat with her fiancee. I followed the sketch this week over at create 4 fun and have managed to get this card to fit into a few more challenges too! Cowgirlup (recipe 1 digi image, 2 PP annd 3 embellishments) I didn't use a cowgirlup image this time though :( Totally Gorjuss (things with wings) Craftalicious 1st challenge (new as in new home here) Paperplay (flowers and sparkle) Charisma (flowers) and stamp something (digi).



For this card I have used a Hope Jacare digi stamp available over at the stitchy bear store Digi papers from Nitwits collections. Lace from stash, flowers from wild orchid crafts with some sparkles on them and on the dragonfly wings and the sentiment is from the home sweet home kit from the creative cottage

Sunday sketch and stitchy stamp

Hello everyone! Hope we are all well out there! Today I have made a card using the sketch over at sunday sketch and stamp this wk. I'm afraid the mojo seems to be on a bit of a hiatus with my mum up and my time limited but I will tell it to get it's backside back here tout de suite for next wks creations lol!!



This is also entered for the following challenges Cupcake crafts (summer delights) Creative inspirations (beach theme) Stamptacular (life's a beach) and one stitch at a time (use something new) lol practically everything is new! This is the 1st time I've used this digi stamp (she was another I won!) and these are new flowers and new digi papers too!

Creative cottage fathers day DT card

Morning! Yep it's weds again which means a new challenge over at the creative cottage challenge blog this wk which is Linda's pick of "happy fathers day" and as it's june there is a new freebie available which you can grab here, don't forget to be a follower! Perfect for all your future fathers day creations!



So this week I created this simple fathers day card with the summer mornings paper set from the daisy chain farm collection available to purchase here, great blues and greens perfect for male cards, lots of the DT used these!



I have used another cutie sprout from the cute TGF collection for this one with a fab sentiment from the great freebie offered at the creative cottage this month, these can even be made to be the main image of the card, see here for some fab DT sample examples! I am putting this into the Simon says stamp male card challenge this wk!

Tuesday already!

Wow it's nearly the end of tuesday already! I knew I would be kept busy with my mum up and yesterday we had a great day out at Swallow falls in Wales and rode a miniature train lol! I have managed to get a card made today for a few challenges, I just hope I don't fall behind too much this wk especially as I was lucky enough to win a prize on both the crafty sentiments and papertake challenges of last wk woo hoo!
Todays card is for the tiddlyinks challenge of Going Goth. I have followed the sketch over at truly scrumptious (may just get in time for that!) and have followed the theme over on crafty cardmakers too which is least and most (your most favourite colour with your least!)



I have used this cute tiddlyinks digi stamp, she is like a gothic princess! I have used my fave colour pink of course with my least fave black ( I always struggle making black pretty!) I have used papers from Pink petticoat, as is my sentiment and my lovely flowers are wild orchid crafts as always!

Happy Friday with Mrs Hoot!

Good afternoon everyone! Sorry I didn't get by in the end to blog yesterday, the school fete was a great success! My cake had to have it's weight guessed as opposed to raffled (even I should have entered as I had no idea what the weight was lol!) I sold 17 cards and had orders for more so that wasn't bad!
On to todays card though and I have used this fabulous digi stamp available to buy here from pink gem designs isn't she cute?! I have followed the sketch this wk over at papertake weekly and followed the theme at paperplay of "up in the air". I have also followed the colour combo over at simon says stamp which is Pink or Blue with green and brown and lastly (of course) I am entering this into One stitch at a times challenge of furry (or feathered) friends! I haven't used a stitchy stamp this time which makes a change but I guess I'm allowed the odd defection lol!



I have used yummy nitwits collections papers again (I can't seem to get away from the lucious digi papers anymore!) My image is coloured with Prismas and sparkles. I have used MS Doily punch with lace from stash (I found a great seller on e bay that does fabby lace!) My Sentiment ticket is pink gem designs and my flowers are wild orchid crafts with Mcgill branch punch.

The calm before the storm!

Well, good evening everyone, I thought I would post late tonight as I could be more than a litle busy tomorrow although I may just have to sneak back here tomorrow eve! I have made this card for the Tiddlyinks challenge of Bring on the Bling. I have followed the sketch over on friday sketchers this wk and am also putting this into stamp somethings challenge of 2 of something (I have used 2 colours pink and green again lol!) and stamptaculars challenge of pearls and swirls (the backing paper does have swirls though you can't see them all that well!).



I have used pink petticoat digi papers from the "one in a melon" set. This adorable princess digi new at tiddlyinks, the sentiment is one from a mini box set at the cutting cafe, the flowers are wild orchid crafts, pearls and lace from stash and lots and lots of sparkle!



I have at last finished the cake for the school fete for them to raffle, I have no idea why I volunteer myself for this each time! I have to take it tomorrow morn and then go food shopping before I go back to man my card stall after lunch!



I hope they generate some raffle money from my creation, the bees have to be held in place by cocktail sticks so I hope they are all still in place by the morning!
