Crafty Sentiments new Christmas release

Hi everyone! Phew it's busy busy here! I am just not stopping with the social life of my children at this time of year!  Before I know it Christmas will be here! Speaking of Christmas there is a new release and challenge over at Crafty Sentiments and here is my card featuring one of them for the theme of xmas in July!

I have used Milton and Co papers for my card along with seam binding , jute, reindeer and flowers from WOC, my sentiment is waltzingmouse and my postmark is LOTV.

My darling candy and baubles image is available from tomorrow from the crafty sentiments store and I have coloured her with prisma pencils.

A Gem of a Challenge sketch challenge

Morning! I do hope we have some better weather today after the constant deluge of rain yesterday! Having said that I am work all day today so maybe I won't mind the lack of sunshine!

We have a new challenge for you over at A Gem of a Challenge and it's another sketch for you.

I have used Bazzil basics Dino-mite papers again along with  My cute Andy image from Pink Gem Designs, sentiment from Papertrey ink and pearls from stash.

I have coloured my image with prismas and inked the edges with stormy sky distress ink.

Saturated Canary Bling it up

Late should be my middle name you know!!! I'm a whole day late with this card, sorry! 

It's challenge time again at Saturated Canary and it's such a fun one "bling!" nothing like some sparkle and shine to brighten your day!

I have used Tim Holtz shabby chic papers again for my card (do love these so much!) along with some cheesecloth, lace from WOC, butterfly from Prima and flowers also from WOC. My sentiment is LOTV.

My image is the super sweet Butterfly Princess from Saturated Canary and I have coloured her with prisma pencils. She has been cute out with nesties labels 23 and I have used victorian velvet ink around the edges. I have also used a SU flourish stamp with tiny gem stones in the corners. I have added some stickles silver sparkle to my flowers for extra bling!

SFTW Tags challenge

Hi folks! It's tipping it down with rain again here! We had a scorcher of a day yesterday but I guess that wasn't to last! Amelia had a good taster day at high school, she knows which form she is in now and who her form tutor is, she seems to like it so far!

It's challenge time again at SFTW and we have the fab challenge of Tags.

You can either make a tag or add one to your creation but there needs to be some form of stamping on your project.

We are sponsored by the fab Simon Says stamp 

and the wonderful Pink Gem Designs who have given the DT some images to play with

I have made... wait for it!.... A XMAS tag lol!

I used a memory box die to cut out my tag and I have used MME Holly Jolly papers, a basic grey paper clip, sentiment from Waltzingmouse, lace from WOC with MS punched out holly leaves and some foliage from stash.

My sweet robin is from PGD and has been coloured with prismas. I have added stickles sparkles to his hat and scarf though I don't think you can see that very well in the photo.

I am entering this into Crazy 4 challenges tags, Secret crafter xmas, Catch the bug seasonal, Lollipop crafts xmas in july, simon says stamp tags and Ladybug crafts ink xmas in July.

Creative Inspirations sketch challenge

Hi everyone! Well I have been a busy bee this week! I have been working fri-mon and then yesterday I had coffee and a catch up with a friend followed by a high school meeting for Amelia. Today is supposed to be sports day (mmm weather permitting) then I have to get Amelia across town tomorrow for a taster high school day and back to work again fri-sun! It's no surprise that the summer school holidays have crept up on me so fast and I will be overrun with a house full of kiddies soon enough!

There is a new challenge today over at Creative Inspirations and this week we have a sketch challenge with an amazing sponsor Mayzy art whose images we have been lucky enough to use!

For my card I have used paper from stash, it is a 12x12 piece I have had for ages! I have also used flowers, cream jute and flower seam from WOC. My coat hanger charm is from live and love crafts. My butterfly again from little snippets.

I have coloured my image with prismas and have used pearl string around the edge. She is called "looks like rain" and is just one of the stunning images of Mayzys! My little sentiment is SU.

Preview of new stamps at Crafty Sentiments!

Hey everyone! Happy Sunday to you all.

Today I am showcasing one of the new stamps from Crafty sentiments which will be available 11th July.

I have made a card using the cute Snowman and friends stamp. Ooo look at me being forced into making my 1st christmas card of 2012!

I have used those Tim Holtz shabby chic papers along with lace and flowers from WOC, butterfly from little snippets and sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

My adorable image has been coloured with prisma pencils and glittered with glamour dust. I have stamped the edges with LOTV vintage xmas postmarks.

Just because...

Morning everyone! I've made a card just because for today (wow), it's not often I make anything that isn't DT work and I do have plenty to do!

However, my nephew has recently started to draw Anime characters of his friends and is pretty good so I sent him a link via facebook of one of my favourite Anime artists on DeviantArt Sureya and whilst there found some amazing new images for colour! This one I just couldn't resist, if this was my guardian angel he could watch over me anytime!

I have used Tim Holtz Shabby chic papers, I actually have no idea why I buy such pretty papers as you rarely get to see much of them on my cards! I have also used flowers and Jute from WOC, butterfly from e crafts and sentiment from LOTV.

This beautiful image has been coloured with prisma pencils and my corner stamp flourish is Stempleglede. I have double mpunted everything and machine stitched. Please do have a look at Sureya's open colouring book, you are welcome to colour any of the images but not for re sale, this card will be given away to a family member or friend.

Divas tags and CI anything goes

Morning! Sorry, I really am lapse at the moment aren't I?! Well you can blame Christian grey and my general lack of organisation skills for that! Anyone else been sucked in by the 50 shades trilogy? I have to say that I am enjoying it and am compelled enough to read it to find out what happens but it's no Twilight. Sorry Christian fans, even now if I read the first Twilight book (and have read it more than once) I simply cannot put it down and I even crave to read it again now, so it's still Edward all the way for me lol!

On to the real reason I'm posting today which is the new challenges over at Creative Inspirations and Divas by Design, I have combined again but then they both have the same sponsor this week so it only seems right!

Over at creative Inspirations it's Anything goes (yay!) and at Divas it's tags (either a tag or put one on your creation somewhere) both sponsored by Meljens.

I have used papers from One moment in time by the scrapcake (so pretty) along with flowers from Kort and Godt and WOC. My lace, seam binding and flower trim are all also WOC with my butterfly coming from little snippets. My tag is from a pair of jeans I bought in Primark! Yep some of those cheapy tags make great embellies!

My sweet image is from Meljens and has been coloured with prismas. I have used some glamour dust sparkle on the wings and have machine stitched all my edges.

A gem of a challenge recipe time

Morning friends! More rain here, anyone fed up yet?! I'm off to work today so this is a scheduled post, assuming it all goes to plan! It does feel like an age since I posted a DT card for A Gem of a challenge but this time we have a fab recipe. It's all the Bs - buttons, bows, bling and butterflies. You need to include all of these on your creations which to be honest wasn't that hard for me!

I have used the papers from Prima for my card along with blooms from WOC and Mulberry crafts. My bling is from Sarah's and my butterfly little snippets of course! I have also used another of these totally adrable tag stamps from LOTV.

I have used this cute school girl Emma digi from Pink Gem Designs. She is perfect for this card which my daughter will give to one of her friends who is going to a different high school at the end of term.

I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have used LOTV grunge corner stamps in dusty concord ink for the stamped over effects.

Saturated Canary DT card Red,white and blue

Hi folks! I sit here with wet feet after walking the dog through the fields this morning! It seemed like a good idea at the time but I hadn't anticipated my shoes being so non waterproof! I guess I should invest in some wellies especially as it will be wet walking again this evening!

On to todays DT card for Saturated Canary and this time we have the theme of Red, white and blue!

I had a bit of a mojo vanishing moment with this! I think all the drugs have kicked out my tonsilitus and taken my creativity with it! I must give myself a good talking to and get more creative again!

I have used Portobello rd papers here along with flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts and little sentiment tags from LOTV.

My beautiful image from Krista's store has been coloured with prisma pencils and I have added some SU flower stamps to the edge and machine stitched. I am hunting down polychromos now as my birthday is less than 2 months away and I am hoping my family will chip in and help me get them so I can have more shades for colouring, here's hoping!!!
