Good evening peeps, I know I'm post hungry at the mo, 2 posts again today! I have made a wedding card for my cousin, who gets married in a couple of wks and used this gorgeous digi stamp from sassy studio designs, isn't she beautiful? So glam! Lucky for me their Dare to be sassy thursday challenge this wk is weddings to incorporate their new releases! I have also tried my hand at an aperture card (with window) which I think is actually quite effective!
I have followed the sketch this wk over at pixie cottage with the optional extra of doing an aperture card, it is also the theme over at stamptacular to make an aperture card too! Flutterby wednesday are back and their theme is open this wk as long as there is a butterfly. fairy or angel on your card and sweet stampin (today my cardstock is SU) are having a pearls and pins challenge this wk.
My papers are gorgeous right?! Well they were FREE, thats right, my friend stitchy told me about a fab blog called Farfar hill who do the most amazing vintage freebie downloads, I have 2 sets of background papers (10 papers in all) which are just so beautiful for vintage work! My gorgeous flowers are all wild orchid crafts with a bit of sparkle, my pin and pearls are from stash along with my lace and this lovely metal wedding sentiment and my butterfly is xcut, here is a closer piccy of that lovely bride image.
Thanks so much for popping by to see me, don't forget to enter my birthday blog candy if you get the chance, I will ship anywhere worldwide! Hugs to everybody,
