Saturated Canary Good Vs Evil

Hi everyone! I wish I could say the sun is shining and I'm feeling great, but alas I have managed to get a stinking cold in the last couple of days and I feel rotten! I'm sure it will trudge it's way out of my system soon and it had better as I just don't have the time to be sitting around feeling sorry for myself!
I do wonder at all those people that say "If I didn't work I would get bored"! I love my job and it gives me the social side of my life that I need out of the house, and of course the money! However, I could NEVER get bored around here! If there isn't a tonne of things to do around the house, there is the dog to walk, all the lovely cards to make for DT work, all the commissions I'm making through my facebook page business, the pay it forward makes and alterable swaps, and even then I'm sure I could find a new hobby to start if I didn't have all this! I'm just glad my job is part-time!
On to the crafty stuff though..... the new challenge over at Saturated canary this time is GOOD Vs EVIL. Mmmmm I wasn't sure where to go with that either! It could be an evil(ish) image in cutesy colours or 2 opposing characters, or maybe just do something for the good or something for the evil, here is what I did.
I chose to use Vampire rose, a vampire is kinda evil but she is just too cute! I went down the dark side of monotone black & white but added a splash of lilac as the good trying to take over!
I used Black market paper society papers, flowers from WOC, butterfly from Kays and sentiment from SU.
Here is the cute vampire rose who is available in digi at the SC store or can also be purchased in rubba at Crafty Boots store. I have coloured her with prisma pencils and have added a stempelglede flourish stamp in black around the edge of the image.
I also wonder what pens people use when colouring B&W images with copics or pro markers. I only use pencils and I use ALOT when colouring an image like this. Below is a picture of my pencils out before colouring grouped into warm greys, french greys and cool greys, and yes, I did use all of these colours not including the lilacs!
I would like to enter this card into..
Whoopsidaisy add a sentiment, Love to create use twine, Bearly mine anything goes, My time to craft song or film inspired (Vampire rose is based on Rosalie from Twilight of course!), Party time tues anything goes and Simon says stamp anything goes.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again everyone
Big hugs

I love the way this came out. That little hint of purple in the black and white is stunning! You did a great job of coloring. It's amazing how many different colored pencils you used to achieve this. Must have taken hours! Beautiful!
