A Framed Saturated Canary

Happy Thursday out there!!!
Today I have a little Saturated Canary Inspiration for you...
As I said previously, we are decorating Caleb's room and I am trying to put some little personal touches in there which includes this.
I am not so great with Male cards or male orientated crafting but I really wanted to make him a little picture for the wall so I jumped right in!
There is a bit of reflection on this as it is behind glass but I have used Bazill basics papers (love these) along with a recycled jeans tag, film strip from Tim Holtz and most other bits from my stash. The large arrow was stamped with a kaisercraft stamp and the letters were cut with Sizzix Cherish alphas. My postage mark stamp is whimsy.
My image I coloured with prisma pencils and I went back to the light-dark technique for this one! I'm still not confident on which way is best! This is Skateboarding by Saturated Canary, he is one of the digis that will be retired on 25th of this month and I think he is so good for boy crafts so grab him while you still can!
Here you can get a better view of the piece in the box frame ready to put on his wall!
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again everyone!
Big hugs

This is gonna look awesome in Calebs room shug, absolutely love this to bits. As for your colouring I had a look at your gorgeous maggie card below & I have to say I love both styles & think maybe it depends on the image & type of look you are going for. The dark to light looks awesome & I dont think you went too heavy on the black, as I say I think it depends on the theme & style of your image & card. Definately dont give up on the dark to light though hun & believe me I would be honest if I didnt think it looked right hunni. I't lying, I'm totally crap at lying, I'm sure my red cheeks would beam through even the bloody laptop screen right to you ;0)

Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
