Craft us crazy easter/spring challenge
Hi everyone! Well I just about managed to get all the kids back to school and I came down with their dreaded lurgy! I felt as rough as old boots yesterday, which was less than productive seeing as I had time to myself and just didn't have the energy to use it! Surely we have to be on the road to good health now?!!
It is time for another challenge over at Craft Us Crazy and this time we have the theme of easter/spring and are lucky enough to be sponsored by Peggy loves vintage for our fabby challenge! I have made my card today using a cute sweet november image which I got from All that scraps last easter, what a cutie! I actually followed last wks sketch at the all that scraps challenge but forgot that by the time I posted this the challenge would have changed duh!!
I have used papers from wild rose studio with my sentiment ticket stamp from whimsy. My pearls, metal corner and butterfly are all from the fabulous e crafts (anyone noticed I have gone slightly butterfly mad of late!!) I have just had a new order of butterflies in and still have some glitzy ones on their way lol! My flowers are wild orchids and mulberry crafts.
Anyone else having blogger problems of late? It keeps smooshing all my stuff together and taking out all my spaces which I then have to correct in HTML mode ggrrr!
Anyway I would also like to enter this into The shabby tea rooms photo inspired challenge, Tuesday throwdowns florals, ABCs R is for roses, Crafty creations bunnies and totally gorjuss spring is sprung.
I hope you can check out the fabulous creations from the rest of the DT! Thanks for popping by here, hugs all

Creative cottage last challenge!!!
Hiya folks! Yep the title is as it seems, today is the last challenge over at the creative cottage. We have been running the challenge for over a year now and it was originally set up to help promote the creative cottage products. However Tracy feels that it isn't really suiting it's purpose and has become just another challenge blog so we are shutting it down. But don't worry! The DT are still working with Tracy to produce projects working with her kits as samples for the creative cottage blog and Tracy will be having a monthly competition over there which in order to be eligible for you must use something from the creative cottage. So onto our last challenge which was chosen by our fab DT member Mandi and she has chosen for us to use white/blank spaces in our projects. This is a massive challenge for me as I'm not generally the minimalist sort of card maker! I have made my card using the simply gingham set which Tracy is giving away free to her followers over at the creative cottage blog! I have used a simple butterfly from e bay for the centre piece which is on my white embossed cardstock and a sentiment from whimsy. I want to enter this into Pollycrafts friends challenge, Top tip tuesdays nature, Paper crafting journeys up in the air, Alphabet challenges U for up in the air and Creative fridays embossing challenge. I do hope you can join us for our last challenge it has been a pleasure and please check out the new happenings at the creative cottage blog! Hugs to all

Creative card crew challenge for a child
Hi peeps, I know it's been a few days since I blogged but it has been one sick child after another in this house! I'm hoping we are coming to an end of it now! We do have a new challenge over at creative card crew this wk and it is "a card for a child" challenge. We are sponsored by the Stitchy bear store too for our fab prize! My card has been made with an adorable image from Kelleys kids at the stitchy bear store, isn't she cute! I have also followed the sketch this wk at friday sketchers. My fab DP is a stunning digi set from Pink gem designs, gotta love these colours! My chiffon ribbon is some my mum sent me in the post (she saves all her bits of ribbon, bags boxes etc so that magpie here can store it all for future use!!) My button is from stash amd my metal corner is from the fabby e crafts. My flowers are a mix of wild orchids and mulberry crafts and my sentiment is whimsy. It's my daughters best friends birthday tomorrow and she is 9 so I can just about get away with a cute card like this before I have to move on to the more grown up images! I also wnat to enter this into Moving along with the times metal challenge, Totally stampalicious for BFFs, Paper playtimes digi mon and the fairytale challenge pink and green combo. Please pop across and see what the other DT have made for this challenge, some superb work going on out there in blogland! Thanks for coming by here again, I hope you manage to join in our challenge hugs to all

Crafty sentiments blog hop and new release!!
Hi folks its a celebration day today! We are celebrating the release of the new Amy digis by having a crafty sentiments blog hop and an Amy challenge. If you have come from the crafty sentiments challenge blog then you are in the right place as I am first on the blog hop list! Our challenge this wk is Amy! There is a fabulous freebie on the challenge blog of the most adorable Amy and you can make whatever you like, however you like, as long as you have that Amy on your creation.
I have altered a notebook for my blog hop project with my cutesy Amy digi.
I have used these cheap £1 notebooks from Asda with openable binders. I have covered it with Tim Holtz stunning shabby chic paper and have used MS doily punch to create a bordered edge. My sparkly ribbon is from hobbycraft and my gorgeous flowers mulberry crafts. My fabulous butterfly is incredibly sparkly but the sun doesn't really show it, that was an ebay purchase. My adhesive gems are from stash and my stamped butterflies are all hampton arts.
I have coloured Amy with prismas and covered the back of my notebook with the lined Tim Holtz shabby chic paper.
I have used some fibres and a metal butterfly charm on the binding and have created a monogram charm as this is for my niece Kira, for her birthday this wk. I took a simple chipboard letter and used first glossy accents which I used my heat gun on and then my shimmer paint. I got the idea from Janet who used glossy accents under her crackle paint to create a much better crackle effect but I didn't have crackle paint in the colour I wanted so used some blonde moments shimmer paint and actually really like the effect. I then added a metal eyelet to create the charm.
The prize for this wks challenge is 3 digis from the CS store! Not only that but there are 5 digis to be won on some of the blogs around the hop so don't forget to leave a comment to be in with a chance of winning a digi from the store!
From here you need to pop along to Doreens blog to continue the hop!
I would like to enter my notebook into Cupcake crafts monochrome challenge, Lollipop crafts butterflies, Lexis ribbons with no bows and knots, Spoonfull of sugars ribbons, gems and flowers, Tuesday throwdowns anything but a card, flutterby wednesdays open challenge, ladybug crafts ink mono challenge and paper shelters flower power challenge.
Thanks for coming by here again! Hugs to all
