Crafty sentiments new release!!!

HI folks! Sorry for my absence but I have had no end of internet problems and just general busyness! I do have a creation for today showcasing a brand new rubber stamp available from tomorrow from crafty sentiments! There are a few cuties that the DT are showcasing over the next couple of days to give you a taster.
My card has been created using the sketch at sweet sunday sketches this wk and using papers from wild rose studio.

I have used chiffon ribbon and gems from my stash along with flowers and leaves from wild orchids and mulberry crafts. My sentiment is waltzingmouse and my embroidered butterfly from little snippets.

My image has been coloured with prismas and is available in store tomorrow!
I also want to enter this into Incy Wincys nature challenge and Stamp with fun in the garden challenge.

A new sketch over at a gem of a challenge

Happy saturday everyone! I wish I could say it was a nice relaxing day for me but alas, No, another day of work again for me, roll on monday lol!
We do have a fab new challenge for you over at a gem of a challenge again and it's another sketch challenge, and the sketch has been designed by moi!

I hope you like it! Of course Janet worked her wonders on it to make it look pretty!
I have used the adorable Chloe in the garden for my card, isn't she cute?! And have used these completely yummy prima papers fairy flora they are so pretty, can't wait to put them with some fairy images!
I have also used lots of worn lipstick distress ink with some yummy chiffon ribbon from my stash.

My little Chloe was coloured with prismas and both my butterfly and metal scroll corner are from e crafts.
My flowers are from mulberry crafts along with that stunning kort & Godt tulle pink rose in the middle. My sweet sentiment is waltzingmouse.

Chloe can be purchased from Pink Gem designs along with lots of other fab little Chloes and I have a feeling Janet maybe extending her Chloe range soon (watch this space!) There are also some fab nesties just itching to be bought over there so check them out and even better there is a sale on this weekend so grab some bargain stamps now!

Crafty sentiments special occasion card

Howdy doody folks! GGGrrrr and extra ggrrr to blogger right now. I have no idea why I cannot comment on any blogs! I promise I'm not being unsociable I just can't comment at all, each time I sign into my blog I can happily go to my dashboard but when going back to my blog have to sign in again, the same happens for comments and I'm never allowed to leave any! I thought maybe it was an internet explorer prob but my PC uses something different and that still had the same probs, anyone out there who can help me with this I would be truly grateful!!!

I have used these stunning papermania midnight fairytale papers for my card along with wide chiffon ribbon and gems from stash. My flowers are mulberry crafts and my butterfly has been cut with my new cheery lynn butterfly dies (need to get some more practice in with these!) I have stitched all my edges and stickle sparkled on my butterfly and image.

My pretty manga fairy has been coloured with prismas and edged with dusty concord distress ink. My sentiment is also from crafty sentiments, from the patches polymer range.

I have followed the sketch this week at sweet stampin which has the optional theme of in the garden (well fairies are sort of garden creatures?!) I also want to enter this into ABC V is for Violet, My mums craft shop Favourite colours (pink and lilac of course!), Paper pretties birthday card and one stop crafts fairytales challenge.

Craft us Crazy love/rememberance challenge

Hello folks! Well, the sun has been shining today, I only hope it continues into tomorrow as it's our school summer fete which I was requested to make a cake for, if it turns out ok I will post a photo later lol!
We have another challenge stating over at craft us crazy today, love/rememberance, with another couple of fab sponsors. We are spotlighting the fab Stamp fairy this wk but I have chosen to make my "love" card using a stamping bella Christy croll stamp which I have had for ages. I ordered some in from the states as the rubba ones at Bellas will not be made into digi over at Tiddlyinks, she came with the cute sentiment too!

I have followed the sketch over at Pear tree designs for my card and have used papers from Bo bunny. My newndoily nesties came into use here again and my flowers are from wild orchids and mulberry crafts. My gems and button are from stash.

My little image has been coloured with prismas and both the image and sentiment have been edged in Forest moss distress ink.

I would also like to enter this into The crazy challenge 123 ( 1 image, 2dp and 3 types of embellishment), Tuesday throwdown stripes, My time to craft use a die cut, Creative craft world use 3 or more flowers (lol like that was hard for me!), paper shelter anything goes, Dream valley old and new (my stamp is old and my nesties are new), I did it creations anything goes and card cupids bright and bold challenge.

Creative card crew anything goes

Hi Peeps! Am I actually here? Not sure really! My Laptop decided to up and die on me last night and took all my programmes, files and photos with it, lucky for me I back up the majority of my stuff externally thanks to an evil virus attacking my PC a while back so I am a bit cautious of that! I have lost some images though but it isn't all that disastrous. However since the laptop came back it's ony partially there. It won't let me download my norton or my software for my printer so I am still a wee bit stuck and my photo software went bye bye too so have downloaded a new version on recommendation (thanks Vicky!) so am getting used to that!
I do have my card for the creative card crew challenge which was fortunately cropped, watermarked and blogged before all this happened! It is a fabulously easy challenge this wk being Anything goes there are some fab stamps up for grabs as our prize too!

I have followed the sketch this wk over at Anyone for Anya using a fab new digi from CC designs, she is so super cute! My papers are Prima and I have used my fab parisien accents nesties which I got from Pink Gem designs along with ribbon and pearls from stash.
My sentiment is waltzingmouse with my pearl ribbon slider and flowers from wild orchids along with some extra flowers from mulberry crafts.

I have coloured my image with prismas and have added some yummy glamour dust to her wings for some extra sparkle! All my edges have been distressed in dusty concord.

Another Guest DT at Lovely hAnglar only with dots

I am so thrilled again to be guest DT over at Lovely hAnglar only but this is my last guest spot so I guess I will have to keep entering their challenges in the hope of winning another Guest spot for 2 challenges! The fact that yet another set of these cutes just appeared on my doorstep the other day (woops!) has nothing to do with it! (how can I resist?!)
The challenge for the next 2 wks is to use dots. That can be on your papers, on your image, ribbon, whatever you like so here is my card using the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday (I swear the girls over there must get sick of coming to my blog lol but the sketches are so fab!!)

My stunning and oh so yummy papers are a digi set from Pink gem designs, aren't they fab? they remind me of mint choc chip ice cream mmmmm! My chiffon ribbon is from stash and my sparkle butterfly from e crafts. My sentiment has been stamped with waltzingmouse and my pearls are from stash. I have used cheesecloth under my image inked with picket fence distress ink and have stitched all the edges to my card and my image. My flowers are from wild orchids and mulberry crafts.

I have used nesties fancy tags to cut my edge tabs with sparkly brads (I am still waiting on my fancy tags 3 set to come from the US I ordered months ago could have waited until they came to this country gggrr!) I have coloured my image with prismas and have edged in tea dye.

Creative cottage new kit

There is another fab new Kit available at the creative cottage just in time for all those fathers days cards, look at this cute daddy bear kit with papers, toppers and embellies! If he is not in store right now he will be very soon he is just having a few tech issues lol!

Well we all know I'm not a massive fan of male cards, I really need to find an alternative to my flower addiction! So I struggled but made this CAS card useing some of the fab papers along with these alphas which are also in the kit and used my whimsy banner die cut for the bunting.

I would like to enter this into Incy Wincys CAS challenge, Paper playtimes tall card, Digi Tues stars (I have silver star brads), The paper variety use stars, Creative craft world anything but square and my mums craft shop anything but square.

SFTW recipe challenge (all the Bs)

Hello folks, another scheduled post for me whilst I am at work (boo!) but better than that, after our little rest we have a new challenge over at Stampin for the weekend yay!!!
We have a recipe challenge for you over the next 2 wks and it's a Bs recipe Blue, buttons and bling.

I have used a tonne of stickles and glamour dust on this but the light just wasn't showing any of it I'm afraid so you will have to take my word for it lol! My papers are Tim Holtz and my image is a stunning digi Hannah Lynn stamp from crafts and me coloured with Prismas.
I have used blue tulle underneath my image stitched to the card for added texture and I have been button altering again! My buttons were originally white but inked in blue and embossed with blue embossing powder then added glitter to the edges. My flowers all have the stickle treatment too and my sentiment is a hAnglar stamp with a waltzingmouse sentiment within.

My ribbon and pearls are from stash (my ribbon forms the tabs under the buttons) My flowers are mulberry crafts with a stunning tulle vintage rose from Kort & Godt in there for good measure! I have punched the edge of my middle strip with an MS punch and everything has been inked in stormy sky distress ink.

I had to enter this into desert island crafters itinery as I followed all 10 of their itinery! (patterned paper, pearls, glitter, ribbon, image, punch, embossing, square card, flowers and buttons) also a quick entry into Magical modays white and 1 other, Crafts and me anything goes and Sir stampalots magical worlds.

Crafty sentiments card for a child challenge

Hi blogging friends how are we all? Well, things are slowly returing to normal I actually had a couple of hours to myself yesterday having got my son back to nursery after his chicken pox, however I'm doing an extra day at work tomorrow and next wk I have to make a cake for the school summer fete, so much for the "me" time lol!
It is Thursday today though which means another challenge over at Crafty sentiments and this time our challenge is to make a card for a child. Nice and simple! I chose to work with another of these adorable Amy digis available at the crafty sentiments store and followed the sketch over at sketchy colours this wk.

I know, I know I've gone flower crazy yet again! Would you believe I haven't placed an order for flowers in ages?! Just shows you the massive stock pile I have although I am feeling the need to buy more (nowhere to store them mind you!)
My papers are My minds eye fine and dandy tickled pink all distressed in vintage photo, my image has been coloured with Prismas and my flowers are from both wild orchids and mulberry crafts.

I have used pearls from my stash, heart doily from poppys cabin, punched leaves with xcut and have punched my butterflies with MS punch on white cardstock and then painted them in cosmic shimmer for a shiny green effect. My tiny sentiment (in the left hand bottom corner lol!) is SU.

Creative card crew cute and girlie

Good evening my blogging friends! We have another challenge for you over at Creative card crew and although strictly speaking it isn't my teams turn to make DT work for this challenge, who could honestly resist these adorable images by our sponsor Whimsie doodles along with the theme of cute and girlie?!

I have made my card using the sketch over at Secret crafter Sat using freebie papers from the current issue of papercraft essentials called sweet wishes a yummy 6x6 free pad! My adorable image is Whimsie doodles cotton candy Leah and she has been coloured with Prismas. I have cute my image frame with nellies and have used pearls, gems and satin ribbon from my stash. My fab flowers are wild orchids, my embroidered butterfly little snippets and my sentiment is SU.
