A golden wedding card

Morning everyone! How is everyone today? Getting ready for a fun weekend? I am working again over this weekend so if we have nice weather like we did last weekend I'm not likely to see that much of it!
Today I have a card commission to show you, a golden wedding anniversary card. Well, this sort of thing scares me lol! I always imagine golden wedding cards to be simple flowers with lots of gold shiny bits! But I figured why not have a nice couple with some warm gold colours? So this is what I did..
I have used papers from Black market paper society, jute and flowers from WOC with some flowers from The ribbon girl too. My key is Creative expressions and my butterfly is prima.
My beautiful couple are from Tiddlyinks and I have coloured them with prisma pencils. I have edged with an SU flourish stamp in gold ink.
I adore the warm colours on this and the simply beautiful image. I have forever changed the face of my anniversary cards lol!
Thanks so much for coming by my blog everyone, it's lovely to read your comments!

Midweek Magnolias Make it sparkle

Hellloooooo out there! Yep I've been absent yet again! I'm sorry folks I have no idea where my time goes ya know lol!
This week we are bustling around with the noise of children off at half term and then we are all popping off on our hols soon for a few days break so it's all go here!
I hope everyone else out there is keeping well!
We have a brand new challenge over at Midweek Magnolias today and it's "make it sparkle"
I have used Pion papers for my card double mounted on pink and kraft cardstock. I have used a tonne of stickles sparkle on the edges of the kraft cardstock and on the flowers but the photo doesn't show that well!
My flowers are from LLC, WOC and Petal Lu. My foliage die cut is magnolia, my bling flourish and wooden ticket prima and my butterflies little snippets.
My sweet Tilda has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have mounted her on a nesties frame and have given her the shabby pink frantage treatment. She also has uber sparkly shoes thanks to stickles again!
Do check out the beautiful creations from the rest of the team and don't forget to join in for a chance to win a stunning prize from Magnolia in Sweden!
Thanks so much for coming by my blog friends.

Good morning folks! A happy start to the week I hope?!

I have used Bazill basics papers with lace and flowers from WOC, spirally bits from the ribbon girl, butterfly from little snippets and pearl flourish from Prima. I have actually used a LOTV sentiment not the one that comes in the stamp set.

Birthdays at Midweek Magnolias

Hi everyone! Sorry for the lateness of my post today, we had parents evening last night and it was lengthy! All was well, thank goodness, but it did mean a late tea and less time for valuable crafting last night!
But I am here at last with my DT card for midweek Magnolias and our theme is "birthdays"
I have to say I'm not overly keen on my card today tho!
My gorgeous papers are Pion and I have used some flowers and jute from Wild orchid crafts, other flowers from Kort & Godt. My embroidered butterfly is little snippets, my on the edge butterfly die Tim Holtz and my wooden tag is prima.
My sweet Hula hooping Tilda has been coloured with prisma pencils and then mounted on some foam to help her pop out a bit. I have used stempelglede stamps in dusty concord ink on the paper underneath.
Do check out the rest of the fab teams creations and also make sure you enter for a chance at that amazing prize from Magnolia in Sweden!

CAS

Er, yes you read the title right! I do not do CAS and as a rule I don't do male cards either, just not enough fluff, fancy and flowers for my liking! That being said, sometimes you just have to and it's my nephew's 13th birthday today so I had to make a simple boy card for a teenager!
Of course the perfect place for teenager style images for boys has got to be Mos, so here is my CAS card..
I have used Authentique papers for my card with kraft cardstock and a sentiment from Waltzing mouse. I have machine stitched all my papers and tied a piece of twine behind a button for my minimalist embellishments!
This is Mos fab image "Paul texting" who is just perfect for teenage boys! I have coloured him with prisma pencils of course!
I guess cards like this are all about the image so you need to choose a good one!
I am entering this into Mos challenge CAS, Sweet stampin clean and simple and Our creative corner anything goes.
Thanks for coming by my blog!

Buttons at SFTW

Morning everyone!
Well, what a wet and miserable end to the week we are having! Nothing like a British spring/summer to dampen your spirits lol! At least I don't feel guilty about being cooped up over my crafting desk and not out soaking up the sun!
I am feeling a bit yuk today. Nothing major just trying out a new diet and I really am so poor at dieting! I can handle not eating carbs in the form of bread, rice, pasta or cereal, in fact I am happy to eat salad everyday! But I long for chocolate and biscuits and all the yummy sugary stuff! So I am having a sugar withdrawl today and need to battle against my will!
To distract me, how about a new challenge at Stampin for the weekend?
It's BUTTON IT UP this time so break out your buttons and don't forget to use stamping too!
We are sponsored by the fab Bugaboo (whose image I have used) and Scrappiness who do some stunning digi papers and kits! I have used lots of scrap paper on my card today (what a good girl!) along with a heart shaped doily, some lace and rose binding, flowers from WOC and LLC, butterflies from Prima, banner die from la la land and sentiment from LOTV (with my tiny button attached!)
My sweet ballerina image from Bugaboo has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have used some shabby pink frantage around the edge and added a pink pearl string from the ribbon girl.
Do check out the stunning creations from the rest of the team!
I am entering this into..
Pennys paper crafty die cuts, Crafts and me lace, Crafting by designs remembering our childhood (I used to do ballet lol!), Flutterby wednesday open, Whimsy anything goes and Papercrafting journey anything goes.
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again everyone!
