Saturated Canary DT card May flowers

Another post from me today WOW!

It's challenge time again over at Saturated Canary and it's just so perfectly easy for me this time! It's may FLOWERS. 

I have been itching to use one of the most adorable digis yet on my card, reminds me so much of me and my big sis playing princesses when we were younger! I have to admit though she was normally the valiant prince rather than the queen!..

I have used those wonderful "sweet afternoon" papers again from Teresa Collins for my card. I have also used some cheesecloth and pearls from stash, some flowers from WOC and prima, MS Hydrangea border punch, sentiment from LOTV, lasercut chipboard corner from MIC and butterfly from Little snippets. My little bottle is a Tim Holtz one filled with tmicro beads.

My image is one of the amazing cuties from Krista. The shop is closed right now as she is moving to a new Webshop so bear with her to grab your stamps soon!

I have coloured my image with prisma pencils and have machine stitched the edges.

Crafty sentiments Blog hop and new release!

I have used Echo parky Yours Truly papers for my card and have teamed this with some cheesecloth and ribbon from stash, a butterfly from E crafts, flowers from WOC, brad from papermania and sentiment from Waltzingmouse.

I do love this darling image! I have coloured her with Prisma pencils (still hankering for some Polychromos for my birthday!) and have inked around the edges in worn lipstick DI.

Creative Inspirations Sketch and Divas for the boys DT card

Morning folks, hope you are all well!

Thank goodness the sun has started to make an appearance round here but it still doesn't feel that warm, although maybe that's me (hubby tells me I'm like an old woman with my fleecy blanket wrapped around my waist!)

The good weather is of course naturally good for house training our pup as I can keep the conservatory door open a lot! I have even felt inspired to get back on the Zumba! I sort of feel I have to get my fitness back on again as this doggy will need some serious exercising! 

I have combined my DT work for my card today. Thanks to all those of you who came by yesterday to see my before and after card photos (cringe!) I'm afraid I'm not all singing and dancing about this one but then it is a BOY card and I just don't do them!...

Over at creative Inspirations we have a fabulous sketch for you to follow which is what I have followed for my card and we are sponsored by the brilliant Meljens.

At Divas we are challenging you to make "one for the boys" and we are sponsored by the super cute Digi garden.

I have used fancy pants papers here along with some lace from WOC, some embroidered flowers from little snippets, a metal cog from Tim Holtz and sentiment from Crafty Sentiments.

My adorable image is from meljens and has been coloured with prisma pencils. My son asked if this was for him as he loves dragons awww. At least he recognised it as a boys card even with those little flowers!

Are you brave enough?!!!

Hello everyone! Well this idea intrigued me to hop back on my blog to 2009 when I put my first card on here....

Yep are you brave enough? The fab Sandra has a little peeking blog hop going on HERE..

All you have to do is post some of your very first creations and some recent ones, so here goes..

Card 1.. My very first blogged pretty simple for my Nephew's birthday

Card 2... A miss Anya card for my daughter's birthday mmmm

Card 3 a CC designs card .. still a distinct lack of embellies!

Card 4... Another TGF card with some paper piecing and great papers (quite like this for an oldie!)

Good morning lovely friends!

I must apologise for my lack of commenting this week. Time seems to have got away with me and I've just not been blog hopping as much as I normally would.

This leads me on to say that this will be my last DT card with Kenny Ks Krafty Girlz. It has been so much fun working with such an amazing team full of incredible talent but I have decided to slim down some of my DT work so I can work with more of the wonderful stamps and images I have in my stash and to concentrate better on the teams I am staying with.

Over at Kenny Ks Krafty girlz this week we have the theme of using tulle/netting/cheesecloth.

I have used one of the stunning new Glam gang images, such a pretty bunch!

I have used prima Madeline papers for my card. To be honest I'm not even sure how much I like this, mmmm maybe just having an insecure moment!

I have used cheesecloth and ribbon from stash, my butterfly is from e bay, brads and girlie tab from MME flowers from WOC and border punch from MS.

My sweet image has been coloured with prisma pencils. She is Jasmine available now from kenny K downloads.

SFTW layer upon layer and birthday hop

Morning everyone! Well it's an exciting day over at Stampin for the weekend as we have officially turned 3!!! I haven't been with the challenge blog for that long but it was always one of my favorite challenges to join in with when I first started card making and I am thrilled to now be the lucky person running such a successful challenge blog!
For the hop you should have come here from the CHALLENGE BLOG  (I'm first on the list) and from here you will go on to HEIDI-MARI's blog.

We have a wonderful challenge for the next 2 wks which is LAYER UPON LAYER so that means at least 4 layers, this isn't as hard as you think! Just 2 DP a ribbon and an image is 4 layers alone, of course I think my work normally stems to 6 or more layers lol!

We are so lucky to be sponsored for this challenge by the wonderful Simon Says stamp.

and here is my card...

I have used the most wonderful papers I have found by Teresa Collins (these are sweet afternoon) My cheesecloth, twine and pearls are from stash. My lace and flowers are WOC, my butterfly is little snippets and my wooden tag is prima.

My totally wonderful image is The greeting farm, I bought both glimmer bean and shimmer bean as soon as they came out and this is the first time I have used either of them!!!!!! I have coloured her with prisma pencils, inked around the edges in worn lipstick DI and added some stickles sparkle.

Of course there is the matter of the fab hop!

Divas by Design Monochromatic DT card

Late again!!!!! I have had such a crazy week just when everything was supposed to be going back to normal!

This week was my first week to myself after 6 wks of either hubby, kiddies or mum and instead this wk became me running around after our pup so she doesn't pee in every room of the house lol! Running around after Caleb being ill and also running around after hackers e mailing you all and holding me at gunpoint (metaphorically of course!)

Phew, well it is the end of the week and I'm afraid all this caused me to fall off the wagon so to speak, the crafty wagon that is! I spent!!!!! (naughty)

I have been so good eating into my mountain of paper and then what happened?!!!

Well over at Divas by Design this wk we are sponsored by the wonderful Craftie Charlie who have given us the most amazing prize (one of the new limited edition MME sew bag kits and other goodies) and when I linked up the shop to the challenge blog I ended up browsing and bought more paper!!!!!!

Ah well it was good whilst it lasted and I didn't spend much, I shall be good from now on, oops just remembered I bought some Maggies off of Caz on FB, oh well they are 2nd hand and cheap!!!

I think I should just hang my head in disgrace and show you my card for the Mono challenge at Divas (a day late)

I had considered doing a green card, then a pink, then a blue and then I saw one of my teamies Sarah had made a B&W card and I though oooo haven't done one of those in a while and I do love how they turn out!

I have used stunning black market paper society papers available from Craftie Charlie along with cheesecloth and ribbon from stash, pearl flourish from sarah's, butterfly from little snippets, flowers and lace from WOC and metal from from Tim Holtz with an SU sentiment inside.

My wonderful image is from Mo Manning and I have coloured this cutie with prisma pencils in a multitude of greys. I have added some glamour dust to his wings but as per the norm my photo doesn't really show the sparkle!

Creative Inspirations Animal antics

Hello my friends! Yes I am still here and not stranded abroad with no money! 

Thanks to those of you who messaged me re my e mails yesterday. It seems that someone hacked into my main e mail account, they then changed my settings so that anyone who e mailed me would be redirected to a ymail account and then they sent out an emergency begging message from me to all my contacts and then deleted them all so I couldn't warn everyone! Trouble is my e mail does not contain my name and the e mail did so they either got that info from here or possibly via Linkedin.

Anyway all passwords, settings etc have been changed and are pretty secure (thanks for the advice Lee!)

My e mail address has remained the same and I do still have a fair few e mail contacts from my inbox mails (thank goodness I keep them in far too big a quantity!) but many of you have vanished!

Anyway enough of all that I had a right nightmare sorting it all out yesterday so it's on to my card today for the new challenge over at Creative Inspirations ANIMAL ANTICS....

I have gone a bit MME lost and found overload here! My papers, lace and brads are all MME lost and found. My flowers are WOC and Kort & Godt, my cheesecloth, ribbon and twine are from stash and my butterfly is from little snippets.

My wonderful image is from Saturated Canary of course, she is pretty! I have inked around the edges in vintage photo ink and used an SU vine stamp for the corners. I have coloured my sweet image with prisma pencils.

Update on Caleb - he has tonsilitus so he is home with me for the rest of the week, mmm where did that day to myself go again?!!!!!

Updated - BT rang me this morning and the ymail account was still in my system in places ggrrr they have got it all out now and may be able to get my contacts back yay, he wondered why I would need Euros when I was in Manilla (not in the EU - good point) he also had seen the exact same e mail but that the person was stranded in Swansea lol!

Email Hacked!!!!!!

Dear friends my e mail account has been hacked! Thanks to all those of you who have let me know that they are getting funny e mails saying I am in the Phillipines and have been robbed at gun point and need money.

I am here in the UK and I am just fine thanks!!!

Please can everyone delete that e mail and I will get a new e mail account sorted soon.

All my contacts have been wiped so I may be looking to get your e mails soon!

Just Tracey's DT card - challenge Anything goes

Good morning everyone!

Well, I must apologise for my lack of activity here in blogland. It has been a busy week spending time with my mum but now she has gone home. So with hubby back at work, kiddies back at school and mum back home it means I have the first day to myself in about 6 wks! Well I say by myself but this Siberian husky pup is certainly keeping my on my toes. I have a distinct feeling my house is going to wreak of doggy wee wee soon!

I did create one card last week though for this Months challenge over at Just Tracey's and it is a nice and easy ANYTHING GOES challenge!

I have made this using MME miss Caroline papers again, along with lace from kaisercraft, flowers from WOC and Mulberry crafts, cheesecloth, ribbon and twine from stash, Brad from MME, MS hydrangea border punch, butterfly from E crafts and sentiment from Papertrey ink.

My wonderful image is from Mo's again, isn't she just fabulous?! I have coloured her with prismas and have added some glossy accents to her bubbles. I have torn around my image (again!) and edged in vintage photo ink.

I am going to enter this into.. 

Mo's challenge Fave colour combo (I'm loving these summer colours!), Incy Wincy girlie, Whoopsidaisy pile on the flowers, OSAAT here comes summer, Lollipop crafts anything goes and Paper sundaes ribbon and pearls.
