Yet another saturated canary card!

Good morning everyone! Well today is another charity day at work and we have to go dressed as pop icons!!! Seriously, who thinks up these ideas?! Of course my attitude would have nothing to do with the fact I'm the oldest person there and can't think of any pop icons that are less than glamorous and are bigger than a size 8 lol! I can't imagine Lady Gaga, Britney or Madonna wearing anything that I would deem suitable for me to wear in public! Anyway I trawled the internet and found the cheapest thing was a Cheryl Cole outfit (I'm still mortified at the idea!) wish me luck with that!
My card today uses another one of those super fab Saturated Canary digis, I can't get enough of these! (Anyone who didn't see yesterdays SFTW DT card scroll down for another SC!)

I have followed the sketch over at Saturated Canarys 1st challenge (woo hoo!) I sort of did it again, there is a piece offset under my image at an angle (as per the sketch) but I have covered it in cheesecloth and embellies so you can barely see it! These are lovely papers from my minds eye lost & found collection but you would never know as I've covered them all up!
My butterfly is again from the fab little snippets, my lace is wild orchids with some of my flowers also. Other flowers are Prima with pink glass charms from e bay. My sentiment is SU.

My sweet image has been coloured with prisma pencils. I have edged in worn lipstick and vintage photo inks and machine stitched. My flourishes are an SU stamp inked in vintage photo.

I even decorated a little box for my card, nothing too extravangant due to minimal time but something simple and matching.

I would also like to enter this into Incy Wincys think pink, The Crazy challenge think pink, Die cut dreams brown, pink and cream, Truly scrumptious distressing, ABC A is for anything goes, Pennys paper crafty anything goes, Crafts & Me use a digi and Digi doodle shops best distressing. I am also Linking up for Pink with this, please pop by and raise awareness!

Thanks so much for coming by my blog again! There is still some time left to enter my candy if you are interested!
Big hugs

oooh this is gorgeous Rebekah and the box is fantastic too! I hope we're going to get to see some pics of you dressed up LOL! I think I'd like to have seen you as Lady GaGa - you could have wrapped tomorrows dinner round you!!
You asked about which template I used for boxes, I don't use any template, just make it 5cms bigger than the card and score all round at 2 and half cms, slightly bigger for the lid

Hi Rebekah, well another stunner! Love these images (as you know!) and you have coloured her just beautifully. The box is perfect too - almost a card in itself. Hmmmm, dressing up as a pop icon - I think I would've had to go from my era, my sis and I used to dress up as Adam Ant or the girls from Bucks Fiz. But these days, nah, don't know any of 'em - you are one brave girl, I think I would've called in sick!!! But you have to show any pics, really you do! Sarah

The is card is just .....(well ! i am at a loss for words to describe the fabulous'ness' of your card)
Its simply too good to be true
I am also liking the way people have been using the gauze ..
I was thinking of doing the same ..
but the gauze in India seems a lot shabbier ..
you are an inspiration !
