Lace and adhesive pearls are from stash. I have used my new MS punch sent to me by my sister (thanks Sarah!) and sentiment stamp from SU vintage labels collection. A Late card :(

Well I have had a busy day (see post below!) so I am putting up this card that I made last wk. I have looked through some of my fave challenges to see if she will fit into any of them this wk and hooray as over at stamp something this wk the theme is charms and I have a little butterfly charm on this card!

This cute little Amy stamp can be purchased over at the crafty sentiments store with some other cuties! The papers I have used are from pink petticoat and the main floral one is from the New baby ellie kit at the creative cottage which you can purchase here and visit the blog here I have used flowers from both mulberry crafts and wild orchid crafts, charm is from the hobby house and sentiment stamp is pink gem designs.

Thanks for coming by to look as always and for leaving your lovely comments and baring with me in all this PC disaster! Hugs to all xx

Happy birthday Caleb

Hiya everyone, yep my darling son was 3 today and haven't we had a busy and noisy day! All toys have some sort of loud space type noise ejecting from them apart from the lego but Caleb adds his own noise for that! Anyway I did make his cake, it isn't really up to my usual standards but I had to knock it together in less than 2 hours and he loved it so I guess that was the point!

And another view of Buzz lightyears ship and little green men (one of whom lost his head shortly after breakfast this morn when I dared to go to the toilet and leave Caleb to his own devices!

Calebs favourite toys of the day seemed to be his transformers (they have gone to bed with him ouch!) You would never believe he turned 3, all his toys are age 5 and up, I thought he would be still into bob the builder and cbeebies but it is sadly ben 10, Star wars and transformers now!

This is him ready to blow out his candles (the first time he blew them out mid song and got very upset that he hadnt got the timing right!) we blew them out prob 10-15 times after this!

And at last eating the cake, the best bit of course!

Thanks for letting me share! Hugs to all xx

A beautiful fairy card

Another card from me today! I just couldn't resist making a card with one of the new digi stamps I have bought from Stitchy bear stamps, how beautiful is she? This is butterfly love fairy and I also bought some others as they are so completely adorable and such a joy to colour! I have also discovered their challenge blog one stitch at a time and would like to enter this card into their distressed challenge this wk.

I have used papers from the creative cottage sweet something kit with the exception of the little dotty paper which is from the creative cottage just for you kit you can get these digi kits here. I have used a sentiment stamp from SU, lace and pearls from stash. Flowers from mulberry crafts and foliage punched with Mcgill branch punch. All papers have been inked with Tim Holtz distress ink in tattered rose and my image has been coloured with Prismas and stickles on her wings and dress.

I have used the sketch over on spoon full of sugar this wk which is a sketch by Nikki. I have also followed the colour combo over on Pollycraft which is Pink and brown along with either yellow or green (I chose green). I am also entering this card in for the paperplay challenge which is another challenge I have just discovered! Their theme for this wk is shiny happy people, the image must be of a character or person with some sort of sparkle on them. And lastly I'm putting this in for the new once a monthsir stampalot challenge blog which is to make something along the fantasy theme and they are offering a Cricut as a prize!!! Thanks for looking as always and leaving your kind comments hugs all xx

I used a sentiment stamp from SU and some pearls etc from stash. I punched out the floral frame with my Mcgill branch punch and my tonic small daisy punch, the butterflies are punched with an xcut dimensions punch.

A random boy card

Hi everyone, thanks for coming by again. Yep it's a random boy card from me! I haven't made this for a specific male challenge (although I'm sure there is one out there somewhere!) and I haven't made this for anyone in particular, but I do think I should try and make more boy or male orientated cards. I think the reason lots of us find it so difficult and uninspiring is because we don't get enough practice and there isn't as much ispiration as there is for the gorgeous girlie cards out there! So I am aiming to make a few more boyish cards! I am helped by the fact that I have just got this cute Pink gem designs stamp Andy with puppy. I wasn't sure if I would like colouring him as much as my Chloe stamps but I do! He is just adorable and really great to colour!

I have followed the sketch for this card over on sunday sketch and stamp and have used papers from pink petticoat again! these are little harlequins and gingham check in duck egg and air force blue inked in brown with ribbon and eyelets from stash, sentiment stamp from stampin up and stars cut with fiskars large star punch.

I have also followed the colour combo challenge over on creative inspirations of green, brown and blue, I'm a late entry again for this one! Anyway hopefully I will do some more later! Thanks so much for coming by and leaving your comments hugs Rebekah x

A late papertake sketch

Another post from me, told you I was itching to get crafting again! I have made this card using the sketch over on papertake weekly. I love all the DT cards over there esp Dawny P's who is a great inspiration to me and only just lives down the road lol! Through her I discovered my obsession with pink petticoat papers, found my mini photo studio etc so make sure you go and visit her blog too! I am also putting this forward for the just magnolia challenge this week which is punch it out, a chance to use your beloved punches!

I have used this cute butterfly Tilda stamp from Magnolia coloured with prismas and with a little stickles sparkle on her wings. The papers are all pink petticoat in lovely and light pink colours, they are fluffy clouds, little harlequins, gingham and solid, mounted on stampin up cardstock. The punches I have used are of course my MS doily punch and my McGill branch punch. Flowers are from mulberry crafts and the sentiment stamp is another ticket stamp from Pink Gem designs.

Thanks loads for coming by to look and leaving your comments! I hope someone can grab a lttle inspiration as I do from so many others, hugs xxx

Hooray for monday!

Yes, it's monday at last here which is another 3 days work over for me and hopefully a little more card making and blogging to keep me sane! Although this is intermittently disturbed by potty training my son this week so wish me luck!
Today I have made a card for the anyone for anya challenge which is to use shapes 1 of 1 2 of another and 3 of another. I have used my square shape card as 1, rectangular PP for 2 and 3 circles (pp, flowers and brad). I have again used one of my cutie CC designs as they are now allowed over on the AFA challenge, she is again from the spring swiss pixies collection.

I have used papers from pink petticoat digi downloads this is doodle dots and lots of dots in black and crimson. The flowers are Prima, brad and lace from stash, cute wooden ladybird from my fab blog candy won over on Lisa janes blog and sentiment from the adorable cute tag sentiment stamps available at pink gem designs, these are just too cute I have 4 now and only £1.75 each they are a total bargain!!

My cute image is coloured with Prismas as per norm and I have added some sparkly silver glitter to her wings which is why I am putting this card also in for the flutterby wednesday challenge. I have recently discovered this challenge which requires you to use a fairy, angel or buterfly on your projects which is sooo easy for me as I have one of those on practically everything I do lol! This wk they challenge you to use sparkle, again a must on nearly all my cards lol so I think I will be up for this challenge blog alot in the future! Anyway hugs to all and thanks for popping by my blog, I'm hoping to get lots more crafting done today (potty training allowing!) so hopefully more posts soon! Hugs Rebekah xx

Crafty sentiments card

Hello again, thanks for coming by to see my blog today and for leaving your kind comments. It's lovely to hear when I inspire people! Today I have made a card for the sketch over on crafty sentiments.I was quite dissapointed that I missed last wks sketch due to lack of time so am getting in quick this wk! There are a lovely set of sentiment stamps to be won too!

I have used a craft sentiments stamp for my card. Unfortunately Suzette didn't have the stamp I originally wanted in stock but she sent this as a replacement, which is fabulous and I'm very pleased with! I will be paying a visit v soon as the new stamps are available from the 6th April and they are super cute! I have also discovered some new digi papers too over at pink peticoat they are just sooo yummy! I have used the gingham check in turquoise and lilac and the doodle dots in lilac too. They are such fabulous value for money, just £1.99 for sheets in over 30 colours and 30 solids too! Until April 9th too you can get all 5 new designs for just £5, how could I resist?! Expect to see lots of these papers on my cards for a bit!

I have mounted partially on glitter cardstock and some stampin up cardstock. I have used my xcut corner punch and emboss in flower with some adhesive pearls and some roses from mulberry crafts. I have used folded ribbon for foliage and have coloured my teddy with Prismas and stickles. The lace is from my stash. Thanks so much for popping by again, hugs to all xx

Easter update

Hi everyone, hope you all had lovely easters! I just thought I would post a quick update of our easter wkend. I took pictures of our easter egg hunt buckets which I made last year for the kids.

This is a close up of one of the buckets. I bought the buckets from hobbycraft and painted them with acrylic paint, used the crop a dile and eyelets to punch holes for the ribbon. Used wired ribbon around the handles and little wooden flowers from hobbycraft for decoration. The names are computer printed and tied on with ribbon.

This was the egg horde before the hunt had even begun! This was a bit less than previous years! The trouble with having 3 children in the house is 3 times as much chocolate!

I bought this egg hunt sign last year I think probably from TK maxx, they do some really cute stuff at easter, I didn't even look this year so I wouldn't be tempted!

This is Caleb mid egg hunt. Last year the girls had to help him but this year you couldn't hold him back! He was distinctly better at hunting out the eggs than they were!

I am card making today so hopefully will post something a bit later! Thanks for coming by for a look! hugs xx
