I have used this fabulous cc designs stamp, she is such a cutie angel stamp. My stunning papers are the new digi kit "heavenly" from nitwits. She is sitting on an ornament accent from the same kit.
I have sponge distressed the background of my image in worn lipstick ala Tim Holtz. My image has been coloured with Prismas. Everything is edged in silver stickles. My suede type binding across the card is from stash, my flowers and stamens are from wild orchids, my large brad is from stash and my sentiment has been stamped with stampin up.
I have used the sketch this wk over at sweet sketch wednesday and also want to enter this into All that scraps xmas flowers, Crafty creations photo inspiration, Fab and funkys xmas is for children, Dutch dares xmas card, Crafty catz your choice and crafty Anns anything goes.
Have fun weekends everyone with any last minute xmas shopping ventures!

SFTW christmas challenge
I chose to use this beautiful sweetpea stamp which I have had for a while but had not yet inked up, she is stunning isn't she? This card is actually for my mum and I doubt I will have sent it by the time this is posted so maybe she won't be looking today!
I have followed the sketch this time at create for fun and my gorgeous papers are free (yes FREE!!) super digi downloads from far far hill. If you haven't been across there do, there is sooooo much fabulous vintage freebies to download!
I have coloured my gorgeous fairy with Prismas and have distressed all my paper and image edges with stormy sky ala Tim Holtz. My edges are also silver stickled to the max! My glittery snowflakes are from a hobbycraft stash I've had for an age and my pearls are from stash. My sentiment circle is a digi one from crafty sentiments and my spotty ribbon is also a hobbycraft purchase which has been distressed with vintage photo. No flowers today but still stacks of sparkle and pretty!

A new Gem of a challenge - my sketch!
Today is 8th which means another challenge over at a gem of a challenge this month and this time it was my turn to host the sketch (I hope you like it!) My optional extra this month is to use distressing on your cards.
Janet of course made it look pretty for me, I can't claim ownership for all the fancy stuff lol!
I have used the stunning Chloe with penguin for my card from the pink gem store, she is just so cute. My papers are far far hill freebie download and Pink petticoat. I have distressed and sparkled everything of course. My lace is wild orchids and my snowflakes have been cut with marianne d's then distressed with tea dye and sparkled with stardust stickles. My pearls are from stash. My gorgeous circle sentiment is from pink gem designs also.
I have masked my image so that i could create a distress ink backround for her from tea dye and forest moss.
I have coloured her with prisma pencils and sparkled all her white edges of hat, coat etc. I think both of them are adorable lol!
I also want to enter this into Craft your passions anything goes, The crazy challenges All I want for xmas is you, Simon says stamp and show holiday greetings, Paper playtime snowflakes, Spoonfull of sugars xmas card, Stamp somethings xmassy colours, Sew many challenges snowflakes, crafty Anns xmas and 2 sisters sparkly xmas. I hope you will find time to join in with us and use my sketch this month! Hugs to everyone
A new creative cottage challenge with a pink gem again!
Today there is another challenge starting over at the creative cottage and this time it will run for 4 wks rather than 2 and the challenge is to make a xmas card with matching gift bag/box.
I have chosen to use the papers from the cute gingerbread lane kit and teamed them up with this adorable digi from pink gem designs. To go with this, I have made a treat cone, the template for which can be downloaded from Brenda Walton here.
I have used this cute sentiment stamp also from Pink gem which you can fill in the recipients name and age, how cute?!! I have also followed the sketch over at sketch saturday for this card and have used some bright orange ribbon from my stash and some fabby flowers from wild orchids.
The ribbon on my treat cone is from Ikea and I have used an MS punch to decorate the DP at the bottom of the cone. I have gittered the curved edges and filled with sweets. Don't worry this doesn't go on our tree as it wouldn't last 10 seconds with my 3 about (or me lol!)
Here is a better view of my card with adorable image. I have used fun flock on his hat and scarf for some extra fluffyness! I have also used a branch punch for the foliage at the top of the image.
I am also entering this into Totally stampalicious wrap things up challenge (a gift bag), Incy Wincy tree dec challenge (this should go on the tree but won't in our house!), Shabby tea room tis the season, Tuesday taggers deck the halls, Top tip tues use ribbon and creative inspirations xmas gifts.
Thanks so much for coming by to see me again, I hope you can join in with our challenge this month, plenty of time to do so! Check out what the other DT have made too! I will be back later with my new offering from Pink gem designs, hugs to all

OSAAT Old/new stash challenge
I have made this easel card for my Daughter's 10th birthday. She is 10 on 21st December so I thought I had better get in now and make her card before I get too bogged down in the xmas festivities!
I used the same backing paper for the front and bottom of the easel card with some lavender stickles around the edges.
I used Marianne D's icicle die cut and turned it upside down to make grass. My flowers are punched with a tonic punch and finished with gems from stash. My chiffon ribbon is from stash and my butterfly was also cut with Marianned D's from glitter cardstock. My sentiments is from pink gems and I have added the circle 10 to the inside.
I have taken the photo from different angles. I always find easel cards hard to photograph!
My image has been coloured with prismas and I have added glitter to her wings and sticky out things (lol technical term!)
I want to enter this into Tuesday throwdowns embellish it challenge, Party time tuesdays anything goes birthday challenge, Top tip tuesdays anything goes challenge, Flutterby wednesdays open challenge, Moving along with the times for someone special challenge, Crafty purple frog Easel card, Stampin with the dragon fantasy and catch the bug anything goes challenge.
Thanks for popping by to see me. I'm at work at the mo so promise to link in all my challenges when I get home as this is scheduled! Don't forget to pop across and see the other DT creations and join in with our easy challenge again this wk.
Hugs all

My recent cake
So I thought I would have a quick post today with the cake I have been making this wk. I was told it was a joint party for 2 boys crazy about football, both turning 8 so this is what I came up with.
I think the lady liked it, hopefully the boys will too at their party today!
I will be back tomorrow with another OSAAT creation! Ooo and incase you were wondering my signature got changed as the other site went and disappeared on me!

Stampin for the weekend Recipe and AFA DT call
I was very sad when the Pocket full of posies blog closed, as I loved being part of the florally obsessed team but happily Sandie and Jan asked me to join them over at the stampin for the weekend team (extra whoop!) Our team is split into 2 and I am on Team B and it is actually Team A's turn this fortnight but I just couldn't resist joining in with the challenge lol!
We have a recipe for you which is to use 2 circles, 2 squares, buttons and bling. We are sponsored this wk by the fabulous Simon says stamp so if that isn't reason enough to join in I don't know what is!!
I have counted my square card as one of my squares, along with my extra square dp and both my image and sentiment are circled.
My digi papers are nitwits and pink petticoat, my sentiment is one from Pink Gem designs, my image is CC designs, my lace and flowers are wild orchids, my snowflakes have been cut with Marianne D's in glitter cardstock and my buttons are from stash.
I have masked my little image and created a background of distress ink with silver embossed snowflakes, I am quite pleased with the effect! I have sparkled everything within an inch of it's life, including my image's wings and hat and she is coloured with prismas.
I also wanted to mention the Anyone for Anya DT call. Anyone who has been following my blog for a while will know I absolutely adore CC designs and greeting farm stamps and have tonnes (seriously too many) of them, so I was excited to see that AFA were having a DT call! I haven't used many of my CC's or TGF stamps of recent and have stacks not even inked yet, hence I need a good excuse to get back into them!!
I would be thrilled to be part of the AFA DT so am hoping this little cutie may help pave the way!
Now for my challenge entries lol Lexis creations blue and silver, City crafter blue xmas, Top tip tues anything goes, All that scraps snowflakes, Cute card thurs blues, Dutch dare xmas, Sarah Hurley masking, Digi doodle shops best let it snow, Simple doodles buttons, crafty calendar winter snowflakes and stamp it crazy xmas challenge.
I'm so glad you popped by to visit me and I hope you will pop by the SFTW challenge blog to see the other fabulous DT creations and join in with us this fortnight!
Hugs to everyone
