Creative inspirations GDT use acetate!

Hey everyone!! Oooo look at me with a fab Guest DT spot over at creative inspirations for the whole month of September! I was chuffed to bits when I saw my card up as the GDT!! So here is my first challenge card and this wk we want you to use Acetate on your card and are so lucky to be sponsored by the fabulous Simon says stamp! So, can you spot my use of Acetate?!....

I have used the fab sketch over at CLP for my card and have used these stunningly romantic echo park Be mine papers. My acetate element are my handmade butterflies! I have cut butterfly shapes from acetate and glamour dusted the edges and added concertinaed pink tulle, then I folded some floristry wire, threaded on some pearls and split the end to keep the pearls tight and to create antennae, I then glued them all together. My lace and flowers are wild orchids with my adhesive pearls coming from stash. My sentiment is waltzingmouse and my heart doily is from poppyscabin.

I have coloured my image with prismas, stamped some flourish edges with an SU stamp in worn lipstick ink and machine stitched all my edges. My pretty Tilda is one of a number of fab Magnolia stamps you can grab from SSS

I loved making this card and have given it to my french friend for her birthday, I know she will love this! I would also like to enter this into Craft your passion anything goes with flowers, Papertake weekly anything goes, Ladybug crafts ink anything goes, Anything goes challenges shabby chic, Sarah Hurley bling and sparkle, Alphabet challenge P is for pastels, Simply magnolia anything goes, magnolia mania sparkle and card cupids stitching challenge.
Thanks for coming by my blog to looksie, please check out the work by the rest of the amazing DT and why not give the challenge a go?
Big hugs to all
