A new challenge at Saturated Canary

This is my 2nd post today, for another SC rubber showcase please scroll down..
Hi everyone! I hope everyone is well!
I had another (emotional) moment this morning with another leavers thing for Amelia, the official leaving day is next Tues but they had a mass with a giveaway of cuddly toy and leavers book today (sob) what the heck am I gonna be like when she is fit to leave high school and my baby boy leaves primary?! I will be a walking wreck! they played the same music too as they did at the oscars evening during the photo montage!
Ooo I've found it so imagine this amoungst 7-8 years of photos and you can understand me crying lol!

Boo hoo I will start again in a minute!
Quick (diversionary tactic) on to our challenge for you this week at Saturated canary which is black and white with a splash of colour and I have used the latest literary craze for my inspiration...
My papers are the wonderful Black market paper society, with lace and flowers from WOC, butterfly from little snippets, MIC chipboard corner and mini alphas from adornit.com.
My wonderful image is one of Krista's newest releases called Grey tie based on the 50 shades of Grey trilogy. I have coloured her with prismas and cut a nesties frame around her, all my edges have been machine stitched.
And guess what Krista has up for offer at the SC shop.....Get 30% off your order now through Saturday 11pm EST with code: CHALOVE.
Do check out what the rest of the team have made for this fab challenge!
Thanks so much for coming by my blog again folks, there is still time to enter my candy if you are interested!
Big hugs to everyone

Hi Rebekah What a fab card and quite risque too!! I haven't read the book but I remember back in the late 70's early 80's the same hype about Erica Jong's Fear of Flying! Love those papers and fab embellishments and, as always, your colouring is superb. I know how you feel about your children they grow up so quickly, I remember taking mine off to university and leaving them there and crying all the way home! xx

Hi Rebekah I love your card but I'm fed up with the whole book thing!!!!!!! Everyone is on about it all the time, I thought it was rubbish and really badly written EL James must be a man to write like that!!
Back to your cards though and this and the one below are fabulous, I love ice cream and pickles (the stamp that is!) I have it but not used it yet!
Hope the Hammy is OK
Hugs Laurie xx

Hi Rebekah, so sorry to be jumping posts again - not going to be much better during the hols either, but I am going to come by as much as I can, promise!!

Gorgeous cards and love the notebook as well. Love this one, great colour combo. Not read the book and to be honest not planing to either - read a couple of reviews and they say it's dire. Don't object to a bit of racy material, but I do like a well written book.

Hope the poor hamster has a quiet last few days, I would imagine there are going to be quite a few tears in your house soon. Sounds like Nikita is doing well as well.

As for school, I'm bad enough with Emily just going up to Yr1, what am I going to be like when she moves up into big big school!!! They had their leavers assembly today and she said that a couple of the Yr6 girls were crying -awwww!!

See you soon,
Sarah

Hi Rebekah, Wow this is FAB! I ♥ the gorgeous colour combo.

I read the first 50 Shades book last weekend and am patiently waiting for the other 2 to arrive ... everywhere has sold out around here! I can't say I particularly like how the book is written but the storyline is soo addictive :-)

Oh Rebekah. I know how sad these times can be as I my oldest just graduated High School and will soon be off to college and my other 2 are growing up so fast. I love the layout you used on this and that frame is beautiful. Hope you are doing well. I am trying to get back on track, but every time I think I am something else happens to get in my way.
Oh I love the way you colored her too.
Hugs:)

This is so gorgeous. Love the colours, layout and embellies... and of course the image! I might just pop over and grab her (if you know what I mean, wink wink) while there's a discount on - she can join the twenty other SC images I've got waiting to colour up - I know, I know, but I see 'em and I've just got to have 'em, lol. Glad to get the heads up on the challenge theme too, it's not up on the challenge blog yet. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous creation, enjoy your daughter's "official" leavers on Tues, and I hope your hamster has made an easy transition by then :-) Donna ☺
