Something a little different

Hi again, thanks for popping by! I did this card by request and strangely they wanted no stamped character image!! So I had to resort to some good old faithful stampin up stamps, this is the bold butterfly range, currently retired I'm afraid (I have these stamped all around my lounge walls too!)

I decided to do a tent card so it was a little different, I found the tutorial over on the just magnolia blog and will def be using it again! I used papermania capsule papers again and ribbon from my stash, thats all really just plain and simple but thats what they wanted! thanks again for looking! hugs xx

Anniversary card

First of all let me apologise for my lack of blogging! I had a mountain of housework to do on thurs and I did do some image colouring and made a card which I didn't post as it was just a colour variation on a previous card posted, made by request. I have had a fair few requests for mothers day cards having sold most of the ones made so I have been busy stamping and colouring and then had to work fri-sun so no time to blog!!
In amoungst my mothers day cards I have had a request to make an anniversary easel card. I have followed the recipe over on magnolia down under blog which is 3 papers, 3 flowers, 1 bow and 2 buttons. I hope they like it! I don't have many Edwin stamps but I love this one! So cute for anniversary, valentines, even mothers day again!

For this card I used Papermania capsule papers in heather and papermania venetian skies creative tones paper. I used some chiffon ribbon from my stash along with heart shaped buttons too. I edged with Marthe stewart doily lace punch, computer sentiment and roses from mulberry crafts with a little glimmer mist. The foliage is punched with McGill branch punch and the adorable image is Edwin in a tie from the cute raising the ceiling range from magnolia.

I am sure this won't be my last post today with the amount of cards I need to make and all the challenges I want to incorporate! Thanks for popping by and looking Hugs xxxx

Mojo Mon / Papertake

Hi again, thanks for popping by! I am (yawn) tired today, rushing around and being late for 2 parents eve appointments thanks to an over run work meeting ggrr! But still made time this eve to make a card. I also have some new stamps I'm itching to use but may have to hold off for a bit with so much to do and working fri, sat and sun this wk! (I doubt I will hold off at all though!)
This is my card for the Mojo Monday sketch and is also for this weeks challenge over on papertake weekly which is to used brads, buttons, bows and bling. You can use 1 or more of these items and I have used all but the buttons.

I have used some yummy and blingy glitter cardstock from hobbycraft, some patterned paper from basic greys lemonade pad. Ribbon and brads from stash with flower spacer from the hobby house and shell charm from my sister. I have used the cute mermaid Emma stamp by CC designs. Thanks again to everyone that pops by to look, hugs xx

My first easel card!

Ok I know it's late but I had to give the easel card a go. I know everyone else has been doing these for ages but I always thought they would be complicated when they completely aren't so here is my first one! I have followed the sketch over on friday sketchers and have also put this card forward for the spoon full of sugar challenge which is to use beads. I have stiched mine into the card to keep them secure! This card also qualifies for the totally gorjuss challlenge which is Just for you mum. I prob have numerous cards and things for that one but thought I would enter this card!

For my card I have used papers from wild rose studio Milton & Co collection, with flowers, button and beads from my stash. The adorable image is Heidi amoungst flowers by CC designs Swiss pixies (so so cute!) All papers have been distressed and the sentiment is computer yet again!

Thanks to everyone that comes by to look, it's lovely to see comments and have followers, I hope I can inspire as others do for me! Hugs to all xx

Mothers day bucket

Hi again everyone! This eve I got myself into gear to start on my mothers day pressies, helped along by the Anya Ink challenge! It was for anything but a card and this is what I made (I have a thing for galvanised buckets lol!) All I have to do now is make mums card!!

I have used a galvanised bucket painted with acrylic paint, ribbon from my stash (I think it was off a nice smelly Lush box!), the trimmings are papermania capsule papers punched with martha stewart doily punch, roses from mulberry crafts, Miss Anya stamp coloured with prismas, computer sentiment and choccies from Tescos! I got 4 bars and a bag of hearts for less than £1.60 and enough to make buckets for mum and mum in law!

Thanks as always for coming by to look, I hope someone will grab some inspiration! I also have big buckets like this which the kids gather eggs in at easter, I will try to remember to post pics when I turf them out again this year! Hugs to all xx

Round and round in circles and spots

Hello all! I'm hoping by posting earlier today that I may get to post more than one card today seeing as I missed yesterday! I have made this little card for the club Anya challenge seeing spots. The card has to have a minimum of 3 circles and 1 patterned polka dot paper. I'm also putting this card forward for the cupcake craft challenge too of round and round, again with a theme of circles.

I have used a mini pink square card blank for this with papers from candyfloss and marshmallow, some bunny loves you by Daisy and dandelion. I have used pink eyelets, a jumbo pink eyelet and polka dot ribbon. I have also used pearls on my computer printed sentiment and my excut butterfly (do we think I have gone slightly spotty mad here?!) I have used the ever so cute lollipop anya stamp, coloured in prismas to finish it off. Thanks for looking everyone! xx

A birthday card

Hello again all! Today I have made a birthday card, makes a change from the mothers day ones! It was for the birthday card challenge over on Just magnolia I used this adorable Happy tilda stamp that I have just got, this is lovely for so many occasion cards. I have also put this card forward for the basic grey challenge (my sister will be gasping in shock aswell as leaping for joy!) I had never even set eyes on basic grey papers whereas she just loves them so I thought it was about time I got stuck in and I'm so glad I have because they really are just yummy! The challenge was to use maroon, pink and lemon.

I have used basic grey papers from the lemonade collection, along with prima painterly petals and mulberry roses. Foliage punched with McGill branch punch, sentiment stamp papermania, ribbon from my stash, as was the florist heart pin and beads. Now does my photo look like it has been take at 11.30pm?! I think not, thanks to my new portable lighting studio thingy (technical huh?) I got it from maplins thanks to a recommendation from Dawny p and have got my sister one too! Thanks again for coming by to look, oooh update I sort of have a bath plumbed in, hence being able to make a card this eve but we will have to check for leaks in the morning! (lol at our DIY plumbing!) hugs xxx

And another card!

Hi to everyone who has popped by for some inspiration or support, thank you! It's really appreciated! I have another card in the same eve (gasp in shock!) I think I am gearing up for the fact that I may have to spend all day tomorrow helping to plumb in our bath and then I have a training day with work on saturday and am preparing for a hangover on sunday so the creative flow maybe temporarily interupted!
This is my card (another mothers day one) using the sketch over on crazy 4 challenges this week

I have also put this forward for the challenge over on secret crafters which is to make a mothers day or mother orienated card and for the challenge on cute card thursday which is to use ribbon in their ribbon-tastic challenge.
I have used this cute CC designs stamp on papermania paper. The cardstock underneath I found in my stash, a gorgeous shimmering lilac, it is yummy! I used my martha stewart doily punch and my xcut butterfly punch again with pearls from the hobby house and ribbon from American crafts. I also used some green glitter cardstock, I've just picked up another 2 books from hobbycraft it's 12 A5 sheets and I bought it last easter so this year bought another 2 books as it's so sparkly! Thanks so much for popping by and leaving your comments! xx

Mojo Mon sketch/ Gorjuss flower power

Hi again! Thanks to everyone who pops by to see my creations, I hope you enjoy my work and I can offer a little bit of inspiration! I've based todays card on the sketch over at mojo monday, another one that I love! I also thought this card was good for the challenge of flower power over on totally gorjuss as The PP has roses and I've added a rose extra!

For my card I used the yummy papers from the wild rose studio, you can find these at my new fave shop the glitter pot, I also used the xcut dmensions butterfly pumch with some pearls for the body and martha stewart doily lace punch. The ribbon is from my stash along with computer printed sentiment and rose from mulberry crafts. My gorgeous Anya flutter stamp was coloured with Prismas and a little stickles. Everything is mounted on glitter card stock, I love this card so much I am in a dilema as to whether to give it to my mum or sell it lol! Thanks for coming by to look and leaving me your comments! xxx

Cheeky sat sketch!

Didn't I tell you I would be back again?!! I just couldn't help myself with the Cheeky Cherries arrival! This is Cheeky shooter, she is just adorable! I have made this card with the sketch over on sketch saturday and I have to say that I just loved this sketch!! I am also putting this forward for the anyone for Anya challenge which was to do or use something totally different. Well a, this is the first time I have used this stamp and b, the first time I have put feathers on my card, neither of these will be the last either!

I have used Papermania capsule papers again (very boudoir!) with some glitter cardstock, Prima and mulberry flowers, computer sentiment and feathers which came courtesy of my free feather boa from the greeting farm with my cheeky cherries!! I coloured Cheeky with Prismas as per norm, thanks for looking and for commenting peeps! xx

Anya card

First of all I want to say how thrilled I was to be in the top 3 of last weeks Anya Ink comp. It was fab to come 2nd! It's so nice to know other people like the work you do!! The card I did was this one, which would have also been great for this weeks challenge too to use the colours blue grey and cream. However for this weeks Anya ink challenge I did this card.

I used Geisha Anya stamp and papers from wild rose studio candy floss pack. The flower is mulberry crafts with the foliage punched with Mcgill branch punch and the ribbons from my stash, I used the sketch over on Club Anya's sat sketch, I won't link as they are having issues with their site at the mo. Thanks as always for looking and leaving comments! Cue hyperventilation ...... My cheeky cherries arrived today from the greeting farm so I may even post later too! hugs all xx
